Freemason Elon Musk Rebrands Twitter to X New Everything App is the Goal "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

by Brian Shilhavy, Last year I published an article about Elon Musk purchasing Twitter, and his desire to turn it into an everything app similar to the Chinese WeChat app, which is the main app China uses to combine social media, digital identity, vaccination and medical status, criminal history, tracking and surveillance, digital currency, shopping, carbon footprint, and other digital information. A video had surfaced at that time of Musk stating his intentions for purchasing Twitter. We also reported that several large foreign Twitter investors had received access to confidential information about the social network, possibly including its users personal data and financial statistics as part of Elon Musks deal on his Twitter acquisition. (Source.) Musks plans to turn Twitter into an everything app that would provide new levels of tracking individuals is apparently becoming a reality, as Musk changed the name of Twitter to X earlier this week. Forbes reported: Elon Musks abrupt decision to do away with Twitters iconic blue bird and rebrand as X erased one of social medias most recognizable brands overnight and potentially killed billions in brand value, but marketing and branding experts told Forbes the unconventional and seemingly reckless strategy signals the start of Musks promised everything app and could have more to it than meets the eye. The change was unsurprisingMusk has been open about his ambi...

Shiba Inu Reclaims 14th Spot In Market After 5% Jump "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

After a rough few months of slipping down the ranks, Shiba Inu is back in the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market cap. In the last 24 hours, the price of Shiba Inu has spiked in excess of 5%, allowing it to overtake cryptocurrencies like Wrapped Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to reach the 14th spot with a market cap of $4.8 billion.

Shiba Inu Jumps 5% In 24 Hours, Reclaiming 14th Spot

The price of the majority of cryptocurrencies seems to be plateauing in the past week, with some even losing some of their market cap. However, meme coins like Shiba Inu and Dogecoin seem to be doing slightly well, with DOGE leading the pack with a 7.02% gain in the past seven days.

In the case of Shiba Inu (SHIB), the altcoin has found a bit of momentum, amassing an increase of 293.16% in trading volume in the past 24 hours.

As usual with volatile meme coins, its hard to pin down an exact catalyst of the spike. However, the price jump seems to have come after Shiba Inus developers announced the release of a testnet bridge between Shibarium and Ethereum.

Shibarium to Ethereum Testnet Bridge Pushes SHIBs Price by 5%

Shiba Inu has come a long way since its creation as a meme coin made just to challenge the popular Dogecoin (DOGE). However, the Shiba Inu ecosystem now has a lot of following, investors, developers, and an active community.

Shiba Inu developers are now working on a Layer-2 upgrade with the aim of developing the ecosystem and becoming a serious blockchain contender. The network, which will operate on top of Ethereum, is called Shibarium and was announced earlier in March. When Shibarium is launched, it is expected to help minimize costs and increase transaction speeds.

On July 28, SHIB devs began testing a bridge that allows tokens to be easily transferred between the Shibarium and Ethereum. The testnet release is an important step toward making Shibarium a reality. This cross-chain solution seems to have sparked the interest o...

AITA for not telling my wife to tone down her dancing at our wedding?

My wife (29F) and I (29M) got married last weekend. Weve been together since first year of uni and got married on the 10 year anniversary of the day I asked her to be my girlfriend. Weve grown up together, got through thick and thin and I know there is no one else I want to spend my life with.

For context, my wife is half Spanish and we incorporated a lot of Spanish traditions into our wedding. It also meant that, with all her family there, the reception turned into quite the party.

I was pretty tired after dancing for a while so I went to sit and talk with my family whilst my wife kept dancing with her cousins and friends. After a bit of chatting, my mum and aunt essentially tol...

This Machine Learning Tool Was Asked To Predict XRP Price, Heres What It Said "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

XRP has been one of the trending tokens following the summary judgment which ruled that the token was not a security, giving its parent company, Ripple, a partial victory over the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). That event saw XRPs price soar to about $0.93.

However, XRPs price seems to have cooled off, settling at the $0.7 price mark. Despite this, there still seems to be bullish sentiment around XRPs future price, which is why this Machine Learning tool was consulted to predict XRPs price.

Heres What It Said

PricePredictions.com, a site powered by an advanced machine learning algorithm that provides current and futuristic trends about several tokens, was consulted in a bid to get an insight into XRPs future price and to better position themselves in case of a rally by the token.

According to XRPs futuristic price action, the AI tool forecasts that there will be an upward trend that will see XRP gain about 1.5% in value from its current price of $0.7. It has also been projected that XRP will hit the price mark of $0.71 by August 26, 2023.

For insight into how the machine learning tool works, the algorithm analyzes current technical analysis (TA) indicators, like moving average convergence divergence (MACD), average true range (ATR), relative strength index (RSI), and Bollinger Bands (BB) to come up with a logical price forecast.

Ripple (XRP) price chart from Tradingview.com

XRP Has Come A Long Way

Ripple Labs aforementioned victory over the SEC undoubtedly sparked significant interest in XRP, especially from institutional investors, seeing the token rise above Circles USDC and Binances BNB to become the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

This took XRPs market capitalization to a yearly high of $46.1 billion at the time of the ruling that it wasnt a security (XRPs market currently stands at around $37 billion according to data from CoinMarketCap).

XRP also became the most actively traded altcoin in 2023. The token accumulated over $1 billion in trading volume, outperforming other altcoins like BNB, SOL, MATIC, and DOGE.

Although XRP is still far below its all-time high of $3.84 in 2018, it has undoubtedly had an impressive market trend lately, and it is projected that many more users will continue to pick an interest in the token and ultimately promote wider adoption.

Tether (USDT) Market Cap Reaches New Peak, Edges Toward $84 Billion Mark "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Tether USDT has seen its market cap value reach new highs in the month of July. According to a report by on-chain analytics company Into The Block, the worlds largest stablecoin is steadily approaching the key $84 billion mark.

Based on data from DeFiLlama, USDTs market cap is up by over $480 million since the beginning of July, indicating an increasing level of adoption. Generally, the stablecoins total market share value has been on the rise for the majority of 2023, moving from $66.23 billion on January 1 to its current value of $83.80 billion.

In tandem with USDTs market cap growth, Into The Block also noted the tokens circulating supply is up by almost 30% year to date. Interestingly, USDTs market growth has also been reflected in its operators development.

Back in May, Tether Holdings Ltd published its quarterly assurance report announcing a net profit of $1.48 billion for Q1 2023, bringing its excess reserve to an all-time high of $2.44 billion.

Into The Block noted that currently, Tether is well on course to surpass those profit levels in Q2 and Q3 as there is an increase in the amount of USDT being issued.

Tether (USDT) Increasing Stablecoin Dominance In 2023

The general stablecoin market has recorded a major decline in 2023, losing over $12.17 billion since the start of the year. However, during this period, USDT has been waxing strong, accumulating over about $17 billion in market cap.

According to data from DeFiILama, Tethers market dominance has grown by about 19% in 2023, as the token now accounts for two-thirds of the stablecoin market.

While this development is mainly driven by USDTs impressive performance, there has also been a notable decline in the market shares of some other prominent stablecoins.

For example, Circles USD Coin (USDC), which ranks as the second-largest stablecoin, has seen its market cap fall by a staggering 40% in 2023, with the current value now set at $26.26 billion.

Meanwhile, Binance USD (BUSD), with a market cap of $3.71 billion, has shed over 77% of its market shares following an embargo on its issuance earlier this year.

At the time of writing, Tethers value remain...

Parentsdo you want a little tip today?

It drives other people nuts if theyre the ones who have to deal with them.

Okay, now that everyone has learned this important life lesson, its time to check out this guys story and see if you think he acted like an a**hole.

Lets get started!

AITA for yelling at a kid for crawling under my table at a restaurant?

My friend Jack and I after a long stressful week like to go to the local pizza place. Its not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination but there are booths and tables of people sitting down.

I see a large table near us of like 10 people a few couples and bunch of small kids between like 4 and 8, and the kids are running around the restaurant being loud while the adults are drinking wine and eating their pizza.

I ignore the commotion for like 20 minutes when suddenly, I feel like a hand on my leg and one of the little kids is crawling under Jack and my table, I wasnt thinking and snapped at the kid, and said Get away from our table! and the kid ran away and burst into tears.

One of the parents at the other table came over and start...

AI Tokens Record Lowest Weekly Volume Since January A Sign Of Waning Interest? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

AI (artificial intelligence) tokens were one of the most promising assets in the cryptocurrency market at the beginning of 2023. One of the major drivers of this was the launch of ChatGPT an AI-based chatbot in late 2022, which propelled some AI-related cryptocurrencies to substantial gains.

However, the interest in this set of cryptocurrencies appears to be cooling, with data research firm Kaiko revealing a significant decline in trading activity for the AI-related tokens.

Lowest Weekly Trading Volume For AI Tokens

AI-related tokens registered their lowest weekly trading volume since January 2023, according to a recent data report from Kaiko. In this report, the research platform looked at the trading volume of six of the top seven AI tokens, including FET, INJ, ROSE, AGIX, RNDR, and GRT.

This notable decrease in trading activity suggests a decline in attention from investors since the AI token frenzy peaked in January. And this appears to be reflected in the price performances of many AI-related cryptocurrencies.

The Graph (GRT), the largest AI token in the market, was one of the top gainers at the start of 2023, surging by roughly 122% to reach a yearly high of $0.2323 on February 7. However, the price of the GRT token has since plummeted, with a 51% decline from the 2023 peak.

Can ChatGPT & OpenAI Do It Again?

Disinflation And Monetary Policy

As we delve deeper into 2023, the U.S. economy finds itself at a crossroads. Disinflation seems to be setting in as a direct result of the Federal Reserves tightening monetary policies. This policy shift has led to a notable slowdown in the annualized sticky Consumer Price Index (CPI) over recent months. With this in view, the conversation among market participants has gradually shifted away from inflationary concerns and toward trying to understand the impact of the tightest monetary policy in a decade and a half.

Sticky CPI has slowed down in recent months.

The high inflation weve experienced, particularly in the core basket (excluding food and energy), concealed the effects of the swiftest tightening cycle in history. Inflation was partially fueled by a tight labor market leading to increased wages, and resulting in a sustained second-half inflationary impulse driven more by wages than by energy costs.

Its worth noting that the base effects for year-over-year inflation readings are peaking this month. This could lead to a reacceleration of inflationary readings on a year-over-year basis if wage inflation remains sticky or if energy prices resurge.

Chances of inflation heading higher by Q1 of 2024 remain high.

Interestingly, real yields calculated with both trailing 12-month inflation and forward expectations are at their highest in decades. The contemporary economic landscape is notably different from the 1980s, and current debt levels cannot sustain positive real yields for extended periods without leading to deterioration and potential default.

Historically, major shifts in the market occur during Fed tightening and cutting cycles. These shifts often lead to distress in equity markets after the Fed initiates rate cuts. This isnt intentional, but rather the side effects from tight monetary policy. Analyzing historical trends can provide valuable insights into potential market movements, especially the two-year yields as a proxy for the averag...

CryptoPunks Toughness Tested As NFT Succumbs To 60% Drop In 1 Week "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Non-fungible tokens continue to play a significant role in developing the Web3 ecosystem, despite the enthusiasm around them having subsided since its peak in 2021.

Unquestionably, these distinctive digital assets have been a significant force behind the NFT transformations that have taken place. Despite the wide variety of NFT collections and their accomplishments, it is crucial to recognize that some particular ones have recently been severely affected by market pressures and are now beginning to fall from their lofty positions.

Consider the situation with CryptoPunks. CoinGecko discovered that of the top 11 blue chip NFT projects studied, CryptoPunks suffered the worst losses.

Non-fungible tokens known as blue chip NFTs are regarded as highly precious and prestigious in digital assets. These NFTs are frequently linked to well-known and recognized producers or organizations, such as renowned artists, enduring businesses, or essential historical items.

Collectors and investors widely seek after them due to scarcity, historical relevance, and the artists reputation that determine their value.

Alarming statistics currently facing CryptoPunks are raising questions among NFT enthusiasts. These formerly well-liked digital assets have recently encountered a worrying situation, sparking disputes and disagreements among investors and fans.

At the time of writing, the floor price for these NFT collections was set at 47.69 ETH. Data from NFT Floor Price shows that the collections value declined after reaching a high of 11,000ETH during the 2021 NFT bull market.

The volume and sales of CryptoPunks have significantly decreased during the past seven days, claims OpenSea. Sales were down 60%, while volume dropped sharply by 64%.

Traders Interest In XRP Remains Solid Despite Price Retreat, Data Shows "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The enduring allure of XRP, despite market volatility, may be evidence of its continued relevance, as it has continued to attract the interest of traders and investors equally.

Even as the dust settles after Ripples recent victory jubilation, the cryptocurrency market remains keen on XRP. Kaiko, a provider of market data on digital assets, reports that the open interest ratio on XRP futures trades on prominent exchanges remains quite impressive.

Recently, the crypto market has experienced a pervasive price reversal. Despite the pullbacks, traders interest in the Ripple cryptocurrency remained remarkably high, according to Kaiko.

At the time of writing, XRP was in the red in all timeframes, trading at $$0.712, down a measly 0.02% in the last 24 hours, and a considerable 8.4% in the last seven days, data from crypto market tracker Coingecko shows. Given these numbers, XRP is still able to shine in another key department.

XRP Community Remains Upbeat About The Crypto

Kaiko shows that across numerous markets, XRPs volume-to-open interest ratio is consistently higher than the median value. This reliability suggests that the XRP coin is actively traded in a healthy market. This percentage is significantly greater than the market average, indicating strong liquidity and sustained interest from traders and investors.

The guy representing the house, a worker there, was such a nice and kind man. Every teen there was only saying nice thing of him. A good soul, that was giving every thing he could for these teens.

At one point they gave a big cheque for the charity. I must guess an amount they rarely received.

Well under the excitement, that poor man had a cardiac arrest. Dropped there on the stage, check in hand.

10 Surprising Facts About Cheating "IndyWatch Feed Uncanny"

Cheating, the act of being unfaithful to a partner in a committed relationship, has been a complex and enduring issue throughout human history. While infidelity is a well-discussed topic, there are still numerous surprising facts that shed new light on this phenomenon. In this article, we will explore ten unexpected and eye-opening facts about cheating that might challenge your preconceptions.

Infidelity is Not Gender-Exclusive:

Contrary to popular belief, both men and women are capable of cheating. Research shows that rates of infidelity have become increasingly similar between genders, with women being as likely to cheat as men.

Age Matters But Not How You Think:

Its commonly assumed that younger individuals are more likely to cheat, but studies reveal that infidelity rates peak during middle age. The period between ages 40 to 50 is when people are most prone to extramarital affairs.

Emotional Affairs Can Be Equally Damaging:

Physical intimacy is often equated with cheating, but emotional affairs can be just as harmful to a relationship. Forming deep emotional connections with someone outside the partnership can lead to feelings of betrayal and emotional distance from the primary partner.

Education and Infidelity:

Research suggests a surprising link between educational level and cheating. Individuals with higher levels of education tend to be more faithful to their partners. This correlation may be due to increased commitment and dedication to personal values.

Cheating is Seasonal:

Studies have shown that cheating seems to have seasonal patterns. Rates of infidelity tend to rise during specific times of the year, such as summer and around major holidays. The reasons behind this seasonal trend remain a subject of ongoing investigation.

Social Media Plays a Role:

The prevalence of social media has introduced new avenues for infidelity. Digital platforms can facilitate connections with old flames or allow individuals to engage in emotional affairs behind a virtual curtain.

Cheating May Run in the Family:

Surprisingly, there seems to be a genetic component to infidelity. Some studies suggest that certain genes may contribute to a persons likelihood of being unfaithful. However, it is essential to remember that genetics is just one factor among many that influence behavior.

The Power of Office Romances:

The workplace has become a common breeding ground for infidelity. Spending significant amounts of time with coworkers can create emotional bonds that may lead to cheating.

Financial Stress and Cheating:

Financial difficulties can strain relationships and may increase the likelihood of infidelity. Some individuals may seek emotional or financial support outside the partnership during challenging economic times.

Cheating and the Digital Divide:

Surprisingly, regions with...

Cup And Handle Pattern Emerges In XRP Chart: What Does It Mean? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Despite a favorable ruling as a non-security token, XRP had experienced a correction for over a week and a half, losing bullish momentum after reaching a yearly high of $0.94. It is trading above the $0.70 mark, with the $0.66 level acting as a support.

Over the past 24 hours, XRP has exhibited sideways trading yet shows potential signs of price appreciation. The technical analysis indicates a leaning toward bullish sentiment, with positive buying strength, demand, and accumulation.

Even though the emergence of a pattern suggesting further bullishness is possible, it remains critical for XRP to maintain support at $0.66 and $0.56 levels.

Additionally, breaking through critical resistance levels is essential for the bulls to retain market control. Encouragingly, the altcoins market capitalization has increased, signaling a positive development for the altcoin.

XRP Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

XRP

When writing, the altcoin XRP was trading at $0.71. The XRP price chart shows the formation of a bullish reversal pattern known as a cup and handle.

Despite this positive pattern, the coins true bullish potential will be determined by its ability to surpass two significant resistance levels at $0.76 and $0.84, respectively.

Its worth noting that after reaching a yearly high of $0.94, XRP encountered resistance at $0.84 twice. On the downside, if there is a decline from the current price level, XRP may find support at $0.66 and then at $0.56.

How can curation address the connection between art and empire? What do letterpress posters teach us about Black Southern history? What does decolonial curation look like in a South Asian context?

Last fall and spring, the Hyperallergic team welcomed five curators for journalism fellowships focused on these and more questions to demystify the process of curation with the support of the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.

Designed to introduce curators to online journalism and provide them with a platform to share their research with a broader audience interested in art, the Emily Hall Tremaine Journalism Fellowship for Curators also pushed each curator to consider how they would present their material to online readers around the world.

As part of the Fellowship, each curator received a $5,000 grant to create an online exhibition, write articles related to their research, and present and discuss their exhibition during a virtual event. Dakota Noot, Dr. Kelli Morgan, Sadaf Padder, Beya Othmani, and Angelina Lippert engaged with a range of topics building on their prior curatorial experiences, expanding the boundaries of their work, and thinking creatively about the unique opportunities of public writing in a digital space.

Bryan Cranston Tells Disney CEO Bob Iger That AI Will Not Take SAG-AFTRA Jobs in Inspiring Speech

As the SAG-AFTRA strike continues, more high-earning celebrities are stepping up to support the union of actors in various ways. While Dwayne Johnson has helped out by making a historic donation to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, actor Bryan Cranston is firing up the crowd in Times Square. The Breaking Bad star took the stage at a rally in Times Square and expressed shared concerns over AI and the potential lack of future jobs.

Weve got a message for Mr. Iger, Cranston says. I know, sir, that you look [at] things through a different lens. We dont expect you to understand who we are. But we ask you to hear us, and beyond that to listen to us when we tell you we will not be having our jobs taken away and given to robots. We will not have you take away our right to work and earn a decent living. And lastly, and most importantly, we will not allow you to take away our dignity! We are union through and through, all the way to the end!

Cranston was one of several A-listers who took to the stage, including Steve Buscemi, Christian Slater, and Christine Baranski. Because of SAG, because of real people who worked to help our members, my father was able to die with an amount of dignity that he would not have otherwise had. He lived as long as he did because of SAG, Slater explains to the audience. Actress Liza Coln-Zayas, who stars in the TV show The Bear, joined the stage to add, I struggled for 30 years to finally get here, only to find that my residuals have dwindled exponentially.

AI and dwindling residuals from streamers are two of the key issues concerning the strike. Were sure to hear more voices emerge in the...

Greta Gerwigs Barbie Sets Record for Biggest Opening Weekend Ever for a Female Director

On top of being the must-see blockbuster of the summer, Barbie has also made box office history. After scoring $155 million on its opening weekend, Barbie now holds the title for the biggest debut ever for a film directed by a woman. That woman is Greta Gerwig.

The title was previously held by Captain Marvel, co-directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, which earned $153 million upon its debut in 2019. As for movies solely directed by a woman, Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman held the record, after earning $103 million in 2017.

While movie success is usually measured by opening weekend numbers, Barbies reign stretches well over that. The film just had the biggest Monday box office of all time with $26 million, breaking the record held by The Dark Knight since 2008, while also adding another $26 million on Tuesday. Barbie also took the crown for the biggest opening weekend of 2023, surpassing that of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which made $146 million.

As if that weren't enough, when combining the massive numbers of Barbie and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, which was released on the same day, movie theaters saw the largest box office weekend since the pandemic, and the fourth-biggest collective weekend of all timeonly behind the opening weekends for Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

A week after its release, Barbie has made over...

Dwayne The Rock Johnson Donates Historic Sum to SAG-AFTRA to Support Actors Out of Work

Dwayne The Rock Johnson Donates to SAG-AFTRA

Photo: Jean_Nelson/Depositphotos

On July 13, the union of actors announced they were going on strike. Since then, there has been an outcry of support for SAG-AFTRA and the WGA (Writer's Guild of America), the latter of whom began protesting back in May. To help support the actors and writers while they are on strike, Dwayne The Rock Johnson has just made a generous contribution.

Johnson's donation arrived after SAG-AFTRA sent a letter to the 2,700 highest-earning actors to ask for help. The funds collected go towards the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Emergency Financial Assistance Program, which is used to care for actors impacted by the strike and lack of work. They send them anywhere between $1,500 to $6,000, depending on a member's circumstances.

We rely on donations and grants to provide serviceswe have been very fortunate that we raised enough money to be able to cover all of our programs, Cyd Wilson, executive director of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation explains. But when we hit a crisis like this and were going to spend millions and millions of dollars in financial assistance, this is when we need our high profile talent who can afford it, who are in a situation to help others.

Although the exact number of Johnson's seven-figure donation is not disclosed, the foundation did say that it is the largest single sum given by one individual. And what is amazing is that that one check is going to help thousands of actors keep food on their table, and keep their kids safe, and keep their cars running, Wilson continues. For him to step up like this is really going to get us started in the fundraising that were...

Indonesian Architect Favors Natural Materials "IndyWatch Feed Diy"

Yu Sing, an Indonesian architect, relies on local materials when constructing homes and public spaces. Natural houses are no longer the first choice for peoples homes, Yu Sing said. The state even calls them uninhabitable homes.

Yu Sing founded Studio Akanoma in 2008 to showcase the design of low-cost housing using natural materials. A year later he published Dreams of Affordable Homes, which covers his design process and shows a breakdown of development costs, which are often low when opting for local building materials.

Studio Akanoma cites the decline in the use of nipa, a mangrove palm, in roofing. Today most new homes opt for more expensive zinc sheets because the nipa palms are widely seen as backward. Some believe the palm fronds will last only one year before a replacement thatch is required, but nipa, when thatched correctly, can ensure long term waterproofing, cooler temperatures and quieter living conditions compared with the disruptive patter of rain on a hot zinc roof.

In 2016 Yu Sing and colleagues designed the simple kitchen from bamboo for a local womens group. The kitchen was a place to learn and hone their craft, producing food from wild plants and locally grown produce. The kitchens bamboo roof appears inverted, but it is a deliberate technique to retain rain for drinking water. The kitchen walls are made from a composite of soil, rice straw, rice husk, limestone and cow manure.

A building made of bamboo at the Turetogo Bamboo Campus in southern Indonesia.

Bamboo has been used for food and shelter for centuries across these islands, but when Yu Sing hired carpenters to build the structure, he found bamboo was almost a novel commodity for the tradesmen. They said it was their first time as carpenters to have a lot of bamboo to make bamboo constructions, he said.

Congressional UFO Hearings Disclosure Were Not Alone "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

What are the revelations of the UFO hearings? Deep dive and implications.

With the US Congressional Hearings that took place this week, weve entered new territory. The world wont go back to what it was we have official disclosure entered on the record about non-human technologies, biological entities in possession of dark programs, and that weve been visited since the 1930s by off-planet entities.

This is according to the witness testimony that is on the official record and obtained under oath, which means under penalty of perjury. Critically, from our perspective on the weaponization of the UFO card as a means to creating the New World Order, the UFO phenomenon has three parts: The governments coverup part The black budget The public disclosure part In pitting disclosure-demanding citizens against secrecy-maintaining governments, the elite are creating a conflict that will find resolution when the New World Order and Disclosure are publicly unveiled. This is probably why Chuck Schumer and Marco Rubio and other high profile cabal puppets have gotten behind disclosure recently. We know that the alien invasion card is the last act of the cabal. And the time to execute the plan is upon us. From this perspective, the Rockefeller Plan is clear that they will attempt to consolidate global power under the threat of an alien invasion. Climate Myths DEBUNKED: The Real Reason Elites Want You Terrified of Global Warming | Ep 291 "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

Wealthy climate crusaders like John Kerry and Joe Biden love to hop from one climate change doomsday conference to another on private jets that emit more carbon than any one of us could spew in our entire lifetime. Why is their hypocrisy so blatant? Glenn argues one reason is that climate change has become a powerful political weapon. Look no farther than jet-setter Hillary Clinton, who recently blamed her political enemies for hot summer temperatures in a tweet: Hot enough for you? Thank a MAGA Republican. Or better yet, vote them out of office. Hypocrisy and instilling fear are just the way their game of control works. Glenn explores the shady history of climate hysteria, which, unlike climate change, ACTUALLY grows more severe by the day. These are the people who have repeatedly insisted that mass extinction would be a good thing. Theyve figured out how to use climate change to provoke fear. Before that, it was global warming. Before that, it was acid rain. Or the new ice age. Or the ozone layer. Beware the false climate prophets who use doom to reshape your world.

Bitcoin Rally May Not Resume Until This Happens "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin has continued to stagnate recently as another recovery move has failed to prosper. So heres an indicator that may hint when a break could happen.

Bitcoin Rally May Not Resume Until The Stablecoin Market Cap Goes Up

Around the start of this week, Bitcoin observed a sharp plunge that had taken the assets price from the $30,000 level down to the $29,000 mark. A couple of days back, however, the coin had started surging again and had reclaimed the $26,600 level.

This uplift in the price had come as the US Fed had announced a 25 bps interest rate hike, but before long, the recovery efforts had run out of steam, and now, the cryptocurrency has already retraced its gains from the rally.

Bitcoin Price Chart

Earlier, Bitcoin had been stuck in a phase of stagnation above the $30,000 level for more than a month, but with the plunge in the price, this streak had been broken.

The asset now sticking near the $29,000 level may mean, however, that volatility hasnt truly returned for the asset yet, as it still continues to consolidate, just around a different level. When a true break away from this stagnation may happen and the rally would return could possibly depend on the total supply of all the stablecoins.

As explained by an analyst in a CryptoQuant post, range-breaking price rises in Bitcoin this year have generally only come whenever the stablecoin supply has registered an increase.

Bitcoin Stablecoin Supply

As the quant has marked in the chart, the major price increases in the past few months have generally preceded a sharp local increase in the supply of the stablecoins.

Usually, an increase in the stablecoin supply can suggest two things. First, there may be a fresh injection of capital happening into the market, as investors ask for more of these fiat-tied tokens to be minted.

And second, some holders of other coins like Bitcoin may be selling their coins to seek the relative safety that the stablecoins offer. Either way, such investors who hold their capital in the form of stables do so because they eventually plan to dip (back) into the volatile side of the...

Sinad OConnors 1992 Saturday Night Live Photo-Ripping Controversy Explained

Screenshots from Sinead O'Connor's 1992 SNL performance

Photo: Screenshot from YouTube

Singer Sinad O'Connor has passed away at age 56. Beat known for her sweeping rendition of Nothing Compares 2 U, O'Connor always believed in speaking her mind and using her platform for the greater good. She expressed her political views in powerful songs such as Black Boys in Mopeds and This Is a Rebel Song, but she sent one of her boldest messages during a live TV performance in 1992 that has now resurfaced since her untimely death. OConnors rallying cry during her 1992 Saturday Night Live performance got her scorching critiques; but, in retrospect, it also confirmed her as an artist ahead of her time.

On October 3, 1992, O'Connor performed a chilling a cappella cover of Bob Marley's War. Taking the producers by surprise, she pulled out a photo of Pope John Paul II. She then tore it into pieces to call out the sexual abuse scandals within the Catholic Church. The singer finished by saying, Fight the real enemy! straight to camera, only to be met with silence in the studio. The audience was clearly left in awe, foreshadowing the backlash she would face afterwards.

Not only did it get her banned from SNL for life, but the guests on the following episodeJoe Pesci and Madonnaeven mocked her actions. A few weeks later, she was was booed at a Bob Dylan tribute concert in New York, where she performed War once again, as to reaffirm her previous action.

Looking back at that moment, she wrote in her autobiography, Rememberings, that it brought her clarity. I feel that having a No. 1 record derailed my career, she stated, and my tearing the photo put me back on the right track. D...

VC Firm Sequoia Capital Slashes Crypto Fund By 65% Amid Bear Market "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Just over a year after launching its crypto fund, venture capital firm Sequoia is now rolling back its investments and taking more of a more careful approach. The firm was making some serious waves when it launched its crypto fund last year in February, signaling that crypto was ready for mainstream VC backing. But now the company has reportedly downsized its cryptocurrency fund by 65% as the crypto winter rages on.

Sequoia Pulls Back On Its Crypto Funding

Sequoia Capital, one of Silicon Valleys most prestigious VC firms, is scaling back its ambitions in the crypto space. After launching a dedicated $585 million crypto fund last year, Sequoia recently announced theyre slashing it by 65% to $200 million.

The firm has also reduced its ecosystem fund by 50%. The fund, which invests in other smaller venture funds and solo investors, is now at $450 million, down from $900 million.

Insiders close to the situation said this is a result of the bear market, which has affected projects across the industry and pulled down prices significantly over the last year.

Why Is Sequoia Taking This Step Now?

Sequoia is known for making investments in crypto companies and had initially announced its funds as part of a larger restructuring effort to increase its investments in the crypto space. The crypto market, however, has seen most projects take a big hit over the last few months and Sequoia wasnt left out, as it has seen a major part of its investment take drastic losses.

The company was particularly affected by the crash of FTX, as it had a $214 million investment in the failed crypto exchange. Rather than spray and pray with a large fund, Sequoia is now tightening its focus.

Crypto total market cap chart from Tradingview.com

According to the report, the companys new investment plan is to pivot toward smaller crypto players. The smaller cryptocurrency fund will now focus more on a select group of startup companies.

With the crypto market taking a major downturn since the announcement of its funds, its no surprise that Sequoia has decided to scale back. Crypto projects, in particular, havent done well in recent times.

According to a recent report by Lattice, a crypto venture fund, only 5% of projects created during the 2021 crypto boom have...

Why This Billionaire Continues To Advocate For Bitcoin Amid Surging US Debt? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin (BTC) has continued to occupy center stage, drawing varied reactions from different financial pundits. One of these voices is billionaire investor Mike Novogratz, who has yet again reiterated his support for the top cryptocurrency despite the unsettling dynamics in the United States economy.

The Growing Concern: Skyrocketing Interest Payments

The US is currently experiencing an unprecedented increase in debts as its interest payments reach $970 billion. This figure represents a leap of $41 billion in the second quarter alone. Observers anticipate that the rising trajectory could soon see the countrys debts surge resulting in the interest payments hitting the $1 trillion milestone, which has set off alarm bells in financial circles.

Related Reading: Bitcoin Retreat Below $30,000: A Threat To Cryptos 2023 Dominance Over Stocks?

To clarify, interest payments are the actual payments that the borrower makes to the lender, typically on a regular schedule, to repay the interest on a loan or debt. The amount of each payment is determined by the interest rate and the terms of the loan.

As such, the sustained upsurge of interest payments in the US economy has triggered growing unease among financial experts. Tax receipts are currently failing to keep pace with the ballooning sovereign debt.

Consequently, the issuance of more debt to fund interest payments is becoming an increasingly common occurrence. This scenario has created a vicious cycle, causing concern about the potential repercussions on the nations fiscal health.

In light of this, Mike Novogratz has once again expressed his firm support for Bitcoin. His latest advocacy came to the forefront recently when he urged investors to buy Bitcoin as the US national debt spiked by $1 trillion between June and July.

The Grotesque Experiments Scientists Are Conducting On Human Cells Are Absolutely Sickening "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The End of the American Dream under the title: The Grotesque Experiments That Mad Scientists Around The Globe Are Conducting On Human Cells Are Absolutely Sickening

Just because we have the technology to do certain kinds of things does not mean that we should actually be doing them. In theory, science is supposed to be constrained by morality, but in our day and time just about all constraints have been removed. As a result, mad scientists all over the globe are running wild.

In fact, some of them are now conducting extremely grotesque experiments on human cells that are absolutely sickening. For example, one team of scientists in Australia just received a giant pile of money so that they can continue to monkey around with ways of merging human brain cells with artificial intelligence

A team of researchers just got a $600,000 grant from Australias Office of National Intelligence to study ways of merging human brain cells with artificial intelligence.

This is so wrong.

But who is going to stop them?

These scientists have already succeeded in creating a semi-biological computer chip with some 800,000 human and mouse brain cells that was able to play a game of Pong

Last year, the research team created a DishBrain a semi-biological computer chip with some 800,000 human and mouse brain cells lab-grown into its electrodes, according to New Atlas. The DishBrain utilizes lab-cultivated neurons from human stem cells. The scientists were able to train the brain cells to play the classic video game Pong.

The outlet added, The micro-electrode array at the heart of the DishBrain was capable both of reading activity in the brain cells, and stimulating them with electrical signals, so the brain cells were fed a moving electrical stimulus to represent which side of the screen the ball was on, and how far away from the paddle it was. They allowed the brain cells to act on the paddle, moving it left and right.

Should DishBrain be considered a living creature?

If so, does it have any rights?

Or can our scientists just do whatever they wish with it?

The scientists behind these experiments are promising that this...

Amanda Cobbett Embroiders Realistic Likenesses of Fungi and Flora in Stunning Detail "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Am embroidered sculpture of lichen on wood.

All images Amanda Cobbett, shared with permission

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for nature, Amanda Cobbett embroiders hyperrealistic fungi, mosses, and lichen with painstaking precision (previously). Taking between one to two weeks to complete, each piece is inspired by flora found around the U.K., which she collects, studies, and recreates with fiber in her Surrey Hills studio. Most recently, the artist has focused on samples found in the Scottish Borders for an upcoming exhibition, which she says is the result of a years worth of work, and includes even more intricacy than previously made embroideriesIt is a snapshot in time but includes a huge amount of variety in colour, texture, and new forms.

Cobbett complements an array of mushrooms with soil-coated roots and carpets lifelike pieces of bark and twigs in diverse lichens. Over time, she has developed techniques that allow her to work on a minuscule scale, often putting specimens under magnification to detect the tiniest characteristics. I mix the weights of the sewing threads from the bobbin and the spool, often using a 75 to 100-weight thread to enable me to get the finest detail, she says.

You can see more of Cobbetts work on her website, or follow updates on Instagram, where she often shares images of her process.

She believes that Bitcoins stability and a huge rally in the wake of US regional banks collapsing is a major testament to the fact that Bitcoin is the future of money.

Cathie Wood Remains Bullish On Bitcoin

In a recent interview with Barrons, Wood maintained that she remains bullish on digital assets and highlighted three reasons she wont be backing down on her investments. According to her, Bitcoin stood tall and rose by 60%, from $19,000 to $30,000, when regional banks like First Republic, SVB, and Signature Bank collapsed. She attributed this run to investors seeing the asset as a safe alternative for storing their wealth.

Wood explained:

We see three revolutions taking place because of crypto. Bitcoin will dominate the first one, the money revolution. The biggest proof is that when regional-bank stocks were falling apart earlier this year, Bitcoin went from $19,000 to $30,000. That was a flight to safety, and we expect it to accelerate. The centralized monetary system we have today is an aberration. We could be going back to the future before the Federal Reserve existed under a digital, rules-based monetary system with no government oversight.

The other reasons for her bullishness on digital assets relate to decentralized finance (DeFi) and digital property rights involving tokenizing several physical assets in real estate and other relevant industries.

The second revolution is in financial services, or the so-called DeFi, which will be Ethereum-based. There are a number of infrastructure providers out there. Its the survival of the fittest, and Im excited to see who wins, the CEO said.

Last but not least, according to Woord, is digital property rights, or what many call NFT or the metaverse. People are already buying real estate in virtual worlds. Our young research associates come into the office wearing jeans and T-shirts with no logos, but they are getting their status in the virtual world.

If Bitcoiners Dont Do More, CBDCs Will Win "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Logan Chipkin, a professional writer who creates educational content about Bitcoin and other topics.

In The Fiat Standard, economist Saifedean Ammous argues at length that the United States federal government has been propagandizing the masses into choosing cheap industrial substitutes and massively reducing (its) meat consumption since at least 1916.

As Ammous wrote:

...the ADA (American Dietetics Association) is responsible for formulating the dietary guidelines taught at most nutrition and medical schools worldwide, meaning it has for a century shaped the way nutritionists and doctors (mis)understand nutrition. The astonishing consequence is that the vast majority of people, nutritionists, and doctors today think that animal fat is harmful, while grains are healthy, necessary, and safe!

In other words, even though a meat-centered diet is superior to a grain-centered one, the government and its quasi-private partners succeeded in persuading millions of people into opting for the latter.

Ammous raises the topic of dietary guidelines as just one example of how a fiat standard distorts an industry, but theres another lesson in this story that Bitcoiners have to grapple with:

Even if your product is the best on the market, governments (and other entities) are capable of spreading narratives that persuade citizens to choose an inferior alternative.

If it happened with food, it could happen with money.

A CBDC Punch-Counterpunch

On July 10, 2023, Karin Strohecker published an article in Reuters titled, Twenty-Four Central Banks Will Have Digital Currencies By 2030, Survey Shows. Apparently, a couple dozen central banks have been making great progress in their development of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Strohecker wrote that these central banks have been working on digital versions of their currencies for retail use to avoid leaving digital payments to the private sector (emphasis added) amid an accelerating decline of cash.

This purported motivation behind CBDCs has been brewing for a while in August 2022, the European Central Bank (ECB) released a report called Towards The Holy Grail Of Cross-Border Payments. In it, the authors compared the merits and demerits of various technological implementations of a cross-border payment solution that might be immediate, cheap, universal and settled in a secure settlement medium. Of the candidates they considered, they concluded that Bitcoin is least credible and that the interlinking of domestic instant pa...

So that happened! With the US Congressional Hearings that took place this week, weve entered new territory. Animal Invasion: 9 Species That Could Threaten Your Rural Homestead "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

By Tom Lovri

If you live in the country, one of the issues youll face is a constant animal invasion. They dont do it on purpose, really if you think about it, youre the one who moved into their territory.

In an ideal world, you could share the area with them, and to achieve that, youll have to mark your territory the same way they do.

Based on research and my own experience, there are a few species you need to look out for the most, and in this article, Ill tell you a bit about them, and well see exactly what dangers they may pose.

Before we start, though, Id like to insert a disclaimer.

The animals discussed in this article usually dont mean you any harm. In fact, theyre mostly not interested in you or your family, and theyll never attack you unless theyre threatened or starving.

Theyre mostly interested in your crops and/or livestock, so theyre naturally attracted to your home. Getting physically close to you is what poses a real threat, and this is something to keep in mind.

The safest thing for both you and them is to keep your distance and admire them from afar.

Which animals invade gardens and pose a danger?

To save you from a whole lot of reading, heres a simplified table.

Species Why Are They Dangerous?
Wolves Killing and eating livestock, possibly harming people.
Bears Eating crops, killing and eating livestock, possibly harming people.
Mountain Lions Killing and eating livestock, possibly harming people.
Deer Eating crops (and some flowers).
Moose Destroying crops (by walking over them), possibly harming people.
Raccoons Eating crops, possibly harming people (carriers of rabies and other illnesses).
Skunks Possibly harming people with their spray (bites are rare, but theyre carriers of rabies).
Venomous Snakes Possibly harming people, capable of eating small animals.

This list is certainly not comprehensive different regions have different threats. But these are some of the most prevalent animals to look out for if you have a place in the country.

Wolves: behavior and diet

Wolves arent afraid of venturing into yards, especially if they can find sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, horses, or chickens there. They will return to the same spot for food unless the pack migrates, so you can expect several invasions if you dont put up a fence.

Theyll avoid conflict with humans if possible and usually attack only if you get too close, but they are territorial animals, after all, and they wont let go of their territory easily, especially if its a good hunting ground.

DeFi Protocol Sparks Speculation Of $16 Million Rug Pull After Severing Lines of Communication "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

DeFi protocol, Hector Network, has closed its official Discord server, leaving many investors in the dark. The move comes amidst growing suspicions of a $16 million rug pull engineered through a so-called hard rug, a process where funds are quickly moved, leaving investors with shitcoins. This comes after a controversial rage-quit vote organized by the projects DAO.

DeFi Protocol Hector Network Leaves Investors In Limbo

Hector Network investors woke up to the news that the DeFi protocol had cut off communications on its official Discord server. The Discord server was the only means of communication between the networks team and its investors which was established after the Hector Network team censored them from the official server in April.

The server was meant to run parallel to the official Discord, preserving data from the latter. Since then, it has become the only means of communication among DAO members.

The move has left the networks investors in a state of shock since they no longer have any means of communication with the networks team. This has led to a lot of backlash, and according to Libagscientist, an investor and vocal critic of the platform, there is no backchannel open anymore.

In the absence of any official communication, dejected investors are accusing the network of siphoning the $16 million left in its treasury.

According to investors, the team embezzled the projects funds over an 18-month period starting in 2021. According to records of DAO votes, the Hector team received over $51 million in salaries during this period without delivering on any meaningful milestone. An aggrieved investor identified as Jintu said, ..not one thing has actually moved forwards.

A Story of Sheer Incompetence and Greed

The Hector Network is part of several Olympus DAO forks, a prominent cryptocurrency reserve currency project that peaked during the DeFi summer of 2021. The Hector Network, like other Olympus DAO forks, promised huge annualized yields of about 100,000% in the beginning, and the early successes of Olympus DAO attracted many investors hunting for massive returns.

During its hay days, Hector Networks native token, HEC reached $357 in late 2021. However, the platforms challenge lies in the fact that its inflationary yield needs to be supported with a steady influx of investor cash to keep the HEC token valuable and maintain its high yields.

Following the crypto winter that began in November 2021, the platform has been unable to recover. Aggrieved investors believe that the team should have......

Man Asks if Hes Wrong for Buying His Husband His Own French Fries "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITAHusbandFries Man Asks if Hes Wrong for Buying His Husband His Own French Fries

I once had a girlfriend who got INCREDIBLY upset with me if I reached onto her plate and took a bite of her food

I learned my lesson early on in our relationship that I should never even THINK about doing that again.

And it sounds like this couple is having an issue in that department, too.

Was this guy wrong for buying his husband his own fries after he couldnt keep his hands to himself?

Read on and see what you think.

AITA for buying my husband fries?

I (28M) and my husband (28M) went to a local burger place this weekend for lunch after running errands. He didnt want any fries, just a cheeseburger and a milkshake.

I got a combo meal with fries and a soda. I ask him if hes sure and he says yes. We order, I pay, we sit down. Once were called up for our food and I come back with it, he almost instantly grabs one of my fries. I told him to knock it off and he kept taking fries and telling me he was only taking a few.

I get fed up, went up and paid for a small fry for him and sat back down. This was all done pretty abruptly and in silence. He muttered Jesus and asked me why I couldnt have just shared.

I told him because I wanted the amount of fries in a large fry and he insisted it was fine because he was only taking a couple, but I knew from past experience (about 50% of the time) hed clear half my plate.

I didnt talk to him the entire car ride home and now hes even angrier at me for giving him the cold shoulder. AITA for not sharing my fries?&#8221...

Christopher Nolan has by now inspired at least a couple generations of young viewers to dream of becoming filmmakers. For my own age cohort, the touchstone work was his breakout picture Memento, with its reverse-ordered story featuring a protagonist unable to create new memories. Others may have felt a greater impact from the reality-bending Inception or the dystopian sci-fi vision of Interstellar (to say nothing of all those Batman movies). But whether at the turn of the millennium or today, with Nolans latest feature Oppenheimer riding high at the box office, the best advice for such aspirants is the same: watch as many movies as possible.

The problem with Chris, says Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy in the video above, is that hes seen every film ever made. Not every film, Nolan replies, a hand-waving denial that only bolsters the accusation. This takes place amid the shelves of JM Vido, one of the last two video stores still standing in the cinephile capital of Paris.

Ethereum Price Will Skyrocket Due To AI-Driven DAO Revolution: Arthur Hayes "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

In a thought-provoking blog post titled Moai, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of the renowned crypto exchange BitMEX, delves into the potential impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the future of economic organization and the role of Ethereum. Hayes argues that the rise of AI-driven Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) will revolutionize the global economy and propel Ethereum to new heights.

The Critical Role Of DAOs In The AI Era

Hayes contends that the current economic progress and per capita wealth of global civilization can be attributed to the efficient self-organization of human societies. He emphasizes that traditional company structures, empowered and regulated by the state, have been the primary vehicles for economic development. However, he highlights the limitations of these structures when it comes to AI-driven entities.

He states, An AI has no reason to follow any laws. It cannot be coerced by the state, and therefore, exchanges that trade tokens issued by AI-powered DAOs will likely become natural monopolies.

Hayes lays out a compelling argument for why DAOs, relying on smart contracts executed on public blockchains like Ethereum, are the ideal organizational structure for AI-driven entities. These smart contracts provide transparency, immutability, and cryptographic verification of transactions and agreements. Consequently, DAOs can operate efficiently and securely without the need for third-party intermediaries or costly auditing processes.

He envisions a future where AI-powered DAOs will raise capital and trade their tokens on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on Ethereum rather than traditional centralized exchanges. This will create truly global capital markets accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Hayes predicts that DEXs will become natural monopolies due to the advantages they offer in terms of trust, security, and ease of use.

The BitMEX founder presents a hypothetical example of PoetAI, an AI-powered DAO that aims to fundraise and produce original poetry for profit. He envisions how PoetAI could issue its tokens, called POET, through a smart contract with specific attributes, such as revenue sharing and voting mechanisms. Investors can confidently invest in PoetAI DAO knowing that its financial statements are continuously available on the public blockchain, eliminating the need for traditional auditors.

Moreover, Hayes explains that DAOs can raise capital by issuing debt, enabling economic time travel by borrowing from the future to stimulate present economic activity. The enforceability of contracts in DAOs can be facilitated through smart contracts on public blockchains, ensuring that investors are protected.

Hayes Bull Case For Ethereum

Hayes concludes, Ethereum transactions will grow exponentially as DAOs proliferate. As a result, the price of ETH should skyrocket in ant...
