And no one wants to open a fresh loaf of bread to find the slices already just a bit stale.

If you want stale bread to be a thing of the past, TikToker Jordan (@Jordan_The_Stallion8)  has your back.

The video, which has amassed over 1.2 million views, reveals how to buy fresh bread every single time, and was made in response to another video asking What is something you found out late in life you should have known earlier but just didnt?

Thats the question AskReddit users were asked.

CDC Caught Faking Death Certificates to Hide Covid Shot References "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

By Frank Bergman,

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been caught faking death certificates to conceal references to Covid shots causing fatalities, a bombshell new report has revealed.

An examination of all the death certificates produced in Minnesota for the past eight years found that the CDC has been manipulating the records to suppress information about side effects from the vaccines.

According to a new report at the Brownstone Institute, the CDC committed data fraud by directly altering the records to hide the risks of severe health issues and death from the public and promote the safe and effective narrative.

CDC officials have been concealing references to a Covid vaccine on Minnesota death certificates to ensure that the fatalities were recorded as something other than the Big Pharma jabs, the report reveals.

The report explains the source of the details is someone who needs to remain anonymous.

However, the source was able to obtain copies of all of Minnesotas death certificates from 2015 to the present.

The documents obtained by the source prove that the CDC has been significantly misleading the public about the U.S. death data and the safety of the shots.

In almost every death certificate that identifies a Covid vaccine as a cause of death, the CDC committed data fraud by not assigning the ICD 10 code for vaccine side effects to the causes of death listed on the death certificate, the report explains.

Bitcoin (BTC) Address Dormant For More Than 11 Years Moves $31 Million In BTC "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

After over 11 years of inactivity, a dormant Bitcoin address containing $31 million in BTC suddenly came to life recently. On July 22, 2023, the address transferred its entire balance to a new address.

Early BTC Address Comes Back To Life

Bitcoin has been around since 2009, so there are dormant addresses that have been inactive for years that contain large amounts of BTC. Some of the early adopters of this cryptocurrency were able to buy in very cheap but the private keys to many of these addresses have been lost, locking them forever. Every now and then, however, some of these addresses suddenly come back to life as the owner regains asses to the funds.

The address here was one of the earliest Bitcoin addresses. According to on-chain data, it received its first transaction of 1,037 BTC in November 2012. At the time, the price of each BTC sold for only $12.41. It then received regular small deposits of BTC over the years. With the price of Bitcoin now at $29,828, this sets the total price at just over $31 million.

There are a few possibilities for what could have prompted the owner to suddenly move these funds after all this time, ranging from regaining control of the private keys to cashing out and taking a profit. Whatever the reason, the sudden reawakening of dormant Bitcoin addresses has the potential to cause a stir and spark interest in the Bitcoin community.

Implications For The Price Of Bitcoin

When a large amount of BTC suddenly moves, it can cause temporary price fluctuations. An immediate selloff of the assets can lead to a drop in the market price of...

Watch a Helicopter Pilot Recover an RC Plane in This Thrilling Video

Screenshot of video showing a pilot recovering a kid's rc plane

Photo: Screenshot from YouTube

Little superhero moments happen every day. During a helicopter training flight, a pilot named Jimmy spotted a beautiful remote control plane taking to the skies. Sadly, the joy didn't last long, as the toy plane quickly crashed into the trees. Having witnessed the whole scene from up in the air, Jimmy had an idea to launch a rescue mission for the miniature aircraft.

You know how cool it would be if I could scoop it out of that tree for him? You know how big of a friend I would have? Jimmy tells his student copilot. He receives the affirmative reply, Do it! So, the two of them waste no time in launching the greatest RC plane rescue operation to ever take place.

The pilot, who posted the video of the RC plane recovery tale to his YouTube channel, explains the scene as fishing out a P-51 Mustang model airplane with a Robinson R-22. Despite being less than five minutes long, the story that unfolds feels straight out of an uplifting action movie.

After safely approaching the treetops, the man in red swiftly grabs the plane, which is so big he carries it outside the vessel during the descent. Do you think Ill have permission to land now? the pilot asks cheekily, knowing very well that his onlookers must be losing their minds and awaiting their arrival.

These dudes are trippin' right now, you know that? he adds. Indeed, the rescue team is greeted excitedly by the family on the ground. While handing over the plane, the pilot tells them, You're so welcome, it was my pleasure.

Although it was originally posted in 2012, the video continues to marvel people. It was recently shared on...

Britains Oldest Cathedral Pairs with Graffiti Artist for Year Long Collaboration "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Britains Oldest Cathedral Pairs with Graffiti Artist for Year Long Collaboration

Ant Steel at the St. Albans Cathedral

Graffiti artist Ant Steel has always enjoyed using his art to bring joy to the community. And now, as an artist in residence at England's St. Albans Cathedral, he's able to interact with the public in a whole new way. Over the course of the year, Steel has been leading workshops and creating his own artwork for an exhibition inside the cathedral that will be held in November.

As Britain's oldest site of continuous Christian worship, St. Albans may seem like an unconventional place for an artist like Steel. But, as Steel points out, it's actually a perfect pairing. Graffiti dates back to ancient timesone only needs to visit Pompeii to find examplesso, in this sense, they aren't that far off from one another. In either case, Steel, who has a background in graphic design, knows just how powerful public art can be. And he's happy to share those lessons with others.

While taking immense inspiration from the classical environment of St. Albans, Steel is also spurred on by the workshops and events he holds as an artist in residence. Over the course of his time at St. Albans, he has guided local children and adults through the steps to produce their own pieces of graffiti art. It's something that has given him a new sense of purpose.

There are many things I could be doing in my career, but honestly, nothing Id rather be doing than this right now, he tells My Modern Met. The Cathedral staff have been so welcoming and excited for me to join them this year. I already feel deeply connected. Seeing students connect to the art in workshops is amazing.

Steel understands the power of graffiti art and the responsibility that goes along with it. For him, taggers and those who spray over other peopl...

Fast Food from McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, And Dominos Contain Toxic Chemicals Linked to Infertility "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Fast food has long been associated with various health concerns due to its high calorie, fat, and sodium content. However, a 2021 report has highlighted another concern related to popular fast-food chains such as McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Dominos.1 The study, done by researchers from George Washington University, revealed that these fast-food items contain toxic chemicals called phthalates, which have been linked to infertility and other health problems. This article will explore the findings of the study, provide an update on related news, discuss the concerns on phthalates, and conclude with the implications of these findings.

Fast Food and Phthalates

The study done by George Washington University researchers aimed to analyze the presence of phthalates in fast-food items from popular chains. The researchers bought 64 food samples from national burger chains McDonalds and Burger King; pizza chains Pizza Hut and Dominos, and Tex-Mex chains Taco Bell and Chipotle in San Antonio.2 The study found that most of the samples contained phthalates, a harmful class of chemicals used to make plastic softer.3 This chemical links with health issues such as messing with the endocrine system, fertility and reproductive problems, a higher risk for learning and behavioral disorders in children, and a risk for asthma.

The study revealed that more than 80% of the food samples contain a phthalate called DnBP, which is linked to asthma, and 70% contained DEHP, which is associated with reproductive problems. Furthermore, the researchers identified another plasticizer called DEHT in 86% of the foods tested, which was used as a replacement, but...

Amanda Cavaleri On Bitcoin Culture, Adoption And Preserving Wisdom For Future Generations "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin possesses a unique identity and qualities that are cemented on the foundation of decentralization. Almost everyone who is doing the work to understand Bitcoin will eventually run into the cold, hard fact that, at its core, Bitcoin is about freedom. To those who have enjoyed individual liberties for their entire lives, the concept of freedom may be watered down or under appreciated. For those who live without it, freedom and individual liberty become pursuits of great importance.

Many people who are diving into Bitcoin will find themselves at a crossroads, having to choose between the speculative get-rich-quick mania of some crypto subcultures and the self-sovereign, owner-and-builder mentality that Bitcoin offers.

Amanda Cavaleri embodies the latter. Humble, empathetic and generous with her knowledge, Cavaleri spends her time furthering the cause of authentic Bitcoiners. Shell tell you that when she first heard about Bitcoin, it did not initially grab her attention. Thankfully, Cavaleri eventually latched onto what Bitcoin offers and has significantly contributed to the Bitcoin space since.

With a background in artificial intelligence, higher education and policy, Cavaleri has what it takes to move the ball forward when it comes to Bitcoin education. She is the board chair of the Bitcoin Today Coalition, board member for the sustainable bitcoin mining company CleanSpark and co-author of Bitcoin And The American Dream. Cavaleri also hosts the annual Bitcoin Ski Summit in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in order to create a thought-provoking space for Bitcoiners to philosophize and have greater impact in their respective areas of expertise.

One of the many talents that Cavaleri brings to the Bitcoin space is her authenticity and empathy. She openly talks about her past and how everything is layered in life. Her work is truly special and it was an honor to discuss these topics with her.

How did you first learn about Bitcoin and what specifically drew you to it?

I first heard about Bitcoin from another entrepreneur in a shared office space in 2010. With very little life experience, I didnt understand or appreciate the need for a peer-to-peer network and first understood it as something akin to loyalty points. It wasnt part of my journey to understand right away and I didnt buy in right away. Fortunately, the idea of the Bitcoin network never left me and I was gifted incredible interactions over the years.

During my entrepreneurial journey, I became obsessed with the notion of preserving and transferring wisdom across gen...

Is She a Jerk for Getting a Cat? Heres What People Said. "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITACatFriend Is She a Jerk for Getting a Cat? Heres What People Said.

Ive never understood how some folks can get upset when SOMEONE ELSE gets a pet

Why, because its gonna cramp your style in some way?

People are crazy!

And this woman wants to know if shes wrong for getting a cat, because her friend was not happy at all about it.

Read her story below and see what you think.

AITA: Friend yelled at me for getting a cat.

My friend (F 24) was a recent roommate and moved out of state to pursue a job. She was allergic to cats.

I had always had pets growing up and wanted to have one again. We had some outdoor cats that I often fed and always liked to pet. I never let them in while my roommate lived here. The week she left I let one in and the cat was so happy. I had to help him out. I gave him a bath, got him fixed and he is now a very pampered prince living mostly inside with me.

She was going to come back in two weeks to pick up the last bit of her things, but I promised myself that I would clean up before she came and vacuum as much cat hair as possible (not that he sheds that much). I did not tell her I was getting the cat, I had an incredible two weeks with the cat.

Before she came back, I gave the cat to a friend to watch over so there wouldnt be extra dander in the apartment. Mind you I kept my roommates door closed so the cat would not go in. She comes back and if youve ever had a cat, you know theres always a slight smell and slight dander. She immediately starts asking questions as her eyes get puffy.

I told her I got a cat, but it has not gone in he...

SEC Potential Appeal To Yield Little Effect On XRP, Crypto Lawyer Says "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Prominent Pro-XRP lawyer John E. Deaton has downplayed the potential effects of an appeal by the United States Securities And Exchange Commission (SEC) in its ongoing case against Ripple on the sale of the XRP token as an unregistered security.

SEC Nudges At Possible Appeal Against Ripple Ruling

On July 13, U.S. Judge Analisa Torres of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that the programmatic sales of XRP did not violate U.S. securities law as the SEC cannot prove retail investors had expected profits from this investment based on the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others.

The decision was based on the Howey Test, which states that a contract, transaction, or scheme is an investment contract and, therefore, a security if it is (1) an investment of money, (2) in a common enterprise, (3) with the expectation of profit (4) to be gained from the effort of others.

For the first time since the ruling, the SEC hinted on July 21 it might appeal this judgment in one of its petitions in another ongoing case against Terraform Labs and its co-founder, Do Kwon.

The lawyers of these defendants had earlier filed a motion to dismiss the charges against their clients based on the recent Ripple ruling. However, the SEC responded by saying that the ruling which favored Ripple was wrongly decided, and the commission could soon explore ways to review this judgment.

The filing read: Contrary to Defendants assertions, much of the Ripple ruling supports the SECs claims in this case and rejects arguments Defendants have raised here. However, with respect to the Programmatic and other sales, the SEC respectfully avers that Ripple conflicts with and adds baseless requirements to Howey and its progeny. Respectfully, those portions of Ripple were wrongly decided, and this Court should not follow them. SEC staff is considering the various available avenues for further review and intends to recommend that the SEC seek such review.

SECs Potential Appeal To Be Likely Insignificant John Deaton

In response to if an appeal by the SEC in its case against Ripple would represent a setback for XRP, popular crypto lawyer and XRP supporter Deaton has provided a positive outlook implying that was far from being the case.

XRP Sluggish: Unraveling The Factors Behind Its Gradual Weakening "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The XRP community is struggling with a significant rise in profit-booking actions due to repeated attempts at smashing through the unbreakable $0.85 resistance barrier, resulting in a severe loss of traction for the Ripple altcoin price.

The market is now anxiously awaiting the answer to the crucial question: Will the bullish forces muster enough strength to defend the critical $0.70 support level? Investors are patiently waiting for a definitive response as uncertainty reigns, aware of the delicate balance at stake.

Following reports that the US Securities and Exchange Commission planned to appeal the recent legal verdict in favor of Ripple, XRP saw a substantial 12% fall against USDT on Binance. This appeal nullified the profits achieved during the significant spike in XRP and other altcoins brought on by the lawsuits successful resolution.

At the time of writing, the top altcoin was trading at $0.739, down 4.6% in the last 24 hours. Despite the hiccup, XRP managed to tally a 3.0% increase in the weekly timeframe, data from crypto market tracker Coingecko shows.

After hitting a barrier near the $0.85 level, XRP lost impetus, and on-chain signals indicate that whale investors may soon give in to the developing bearish trend.

RSI Shows XRP Losing Steam

The price of XRP decreased by 17% between July 13 and July 22. The partial victory for Ripple stoked excitement among XRP holders and drove the alternative currency to its regional high of $0.9375.

Its also important to note that XRP has yet to go very far despite a few falls over the past week as some traders took profits, with its support level still rising as of this writing.

Religious Coercion Turns Violent: Muslim Man Brutally Attacked in India "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

A 21-year-old Indian Muslim man suffered severe injuries and trauma after experiencing violent religious coercion in the district of Bhilwara in the northern state of Rajasthan on July 8th. This incident reflects the ongoing religious violence between the countrys Hindu and Muslim communities.

Saheb Ali Khan received 15 stitches in his head, has a severely wounded foot, and is experiencing impaired right-hand function after sustaining injuries from the violence. He was admitted and is currently receiving treatment at MG Hospital in Bhilwara. Khan was subjected to verbal abuse and beatings and was forced to chant Jai Shri Ram, which translates to Hail Lord Ram in Hindi. The slogan has become a war cry among Hindu nationalists as Hindutva continues to rise in India.

The assault started when Khan, a resident of Maruti Nagar, was on his way to buy groceries on the morning of July 8th. A man named Mukesh Gujjar then intercepted him and coerced Khan to chant the Hindu slogan.

I was going about my business, heading to buy milk from a nearby shop, when Mukesh Gujjar and four of his accomplices suddenly stopped me. They abused and forced me to chant Jai Shri Ram. Khan told Maktoob Media, one of the media outlets that covered the incident.

Khan initially complied with Gujjars demand because he was fearful for his life and then quickly fled the scene. When he returned to a nearby tea shop, he encountered Mukesh Gujjar, this time accompanied by his brother, Shiva Gujjar. Khan attempted to confront Gujjar about forcing him to chant the Hindu religious slogan.

Andrew Tate's Shocking Call for the Islamization of Britain "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

British-American social media personality Andrew Tate has long been controversial for his misogynistic commentary and when he was arrested along with his brother Tristan in Romania for human trafficking. Now, the former kickboxer and social media influencer stirred new controversy online after openly calling for the Islamization of the United Kingdom.

His views on Islam and Britain came after London-based billionaire, property mogul, and philanthropist Asif Aziz announced he would convert part of the Trocadero, one of Londons most renowned historical landmarks, into a mosque that can hold more than 300 worshippers. Aziz acquired the building through his firm Criterion Capital in 2005, and plans by Criterion said the site will also have interfaith meetings and LGBTQIA+ talks.

"This building is literally dead centre in the middle of Londons historic centre. Amazing news. The only alternative to Islam for the brits are pride flags as they no longer have any innate culture or patriotisim. Tate said in a Tweet in response to the news. Allah is the best of planners and I look forward to seeing The Islamic republic of Great Britistan in her final form. Alhamdulillah Britain will be fully Islamic soon."

A new but controversial landmark case has been created in her three children to Islam, sparking a tense situation in a country sharply divided along ethnic and religious lines.

The case started when Loh Siew Hong, a Malaysian Hindu of Indian and Chinese descent, finally found her three children, a son, and twin daughters, three years after she divorced her abusive ex-husband. He had taken their children with him and refused to tell Loh their whereabouts.

Loh found her children last year, ages 11 to 15. But she then discovered that her ex-husband converted from Hinduism to Islam, and he had their kids converted to the religion as well. Malaysia forbids non-Muslims to raise Muslim children without converting first or marrying Muslims.

For now, Loh was able to gain custody of her three children, but judge already ruled against her last May, but she didnt give up and filed an appeal. Malaysian secular courts are currently hearing her case in a country that uses a dual-track Sharia and secular case system.

Still ashamed.

When I was a little kid, probably first grade or soI remember being super mad at my mom for something

That day, I was using a coffee can to trace for circles. I would then use the circles to make faces. Then I would color in the faces.

I did them for my dad and my siblings and my teacher

Then I did one for my momand when I was showing her, I took a red crayon and drew a big X across her face on the page

I was angry. I dont even remember why.

But I will NEVER forget the look on her face. It was like I destroyed her soul. She was just so defeated and sad. Not like a play sad. Like real sadness.

Looking back at it with adult eyesI am sure she was frustrated being a mom of multiple kids, on a one income householdand there is no telling what was going on in her marriage at the time

Plus that was about the time she lost her father. So I know it was a difficult time in her life and that she didnt need that kind of bullshit from me.

So when I drew that X, I think I actually hurt her in some way.

That was almost 40 years ago and it still makes me ashamed to think about it.

Its funny how certain memories from your early childhood are burned into your...

Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Telling Her Former Sister-In-Law That Shes Being Unfair "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITAUnfairSIL Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Telling Her Former Sister In Law That Shes Being Unfair

Life aint fair

And sometimes, telling someone else that theyre being unfair is unfair

Am I confusing you?

If I am, I apologizeso Im just gonna go ahead and recommend that you check out the story this woman wrote on Reddits Am I the A**hole? page so you can see if she was out of line for telling her former sister-in-law that she was being unfair.

Get started now!

AITA for telling my former SIL she is being unfair?

I (33f) have a niece Emma (14f) from my late brother Leo. Her mother Nancy (38) remarried 3 years ago and has a stepdaughter Kay whos also 14.

Im not rich but Im doing quite well financially. As Emmas only living paternal relative, I have set aside money to take care of her. This is mostly in the form of paying for Emmas violin and language lessons, something Leo started. Nancy works but cant afford these lessons on her own. Her husband also works but he has to pay child support for Kays half siblings (from the marriage prior to Kays mother) so I dont expect much from him.

I never really bought Emma expensive gifts as I know that will create resentment with Kay. For birthdays and Christmas I usually give books and school related stuff. Boring, I know, but Emma is studious and she loves them. However, this summer, as a reward for making the highest honor roll at her school, I decided to take Emma on a vacation with me to Japan.

She Didnt Give Her Husband Any Time off on Fathers Day. Is She a Jerk? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITAFathersDayOff She Didnt Give Her Husband Any Time off on Fathers Day. Is She a Jerk?

Hey, everyone needs a break from life sometimes, right?

And that definitely includes moms AND dadsespecially on Fathers Day for the latter

So is this woman an a**hole for not giving her husband any time off on Fathers Day?

Read her story and see what you think.

AITA For not giving my husband a single hour off on Fathers Day?

My husband (36M) and I (33F) have been married for 8 years and have 3 kids (5, 3, and a 1-month-old infant). I am currently still recovering from my planned c-section and it is taking a lot longer than I had hoped.

I am not on bedrest, but pretty darn close. Unless its to go to the bathroom or changing or feeding my baby, Im pretty much always sitting or laying down. I dont like it, but its what my body needs to heal right now. Both my husband and I are still on maternity/paternity leave.

Obviously, that means that pretty much every other aspect of our lives falls on my husband right now. He been doing a great job of taking care of the older kids and making sure everything in our lives is running as smoothly as it can given our circumstances.

Hes also great about taking care of the baby and giving me breaks as much as he can. But I can tell its starting to wear on him mentally and physically. Neither of us is sleeping well and I swear he looks like hes lost more weight than I have since the baby came.

Bad manager.

I used to work for a super bad manager when I worked at McDonalds. This guy was horrible to us.

He was constantly bullying us, s**t talking us TO CUSTOMERS, and doing everything in his power to make us miserable. Well, so many people complained about him that he ended up getting fired.

New manager was great. He was super chill and understanding with us all. A couple weeks after he took over, the old douchebag comes in and starts talking about how terrible the store looks, how our service is sh**tier than ever, and how much this store needs him. The new manager looked at him and said If you dont leave, then the cops are gonna make you

When the do**hebag didnt move, new awesome manager stuck to his guns and called the cops. The d**chebag is no longer allowed on ANY McDonalds property in the city and has a restraining order against him.

Liberating.

The first time I had dinner at my parents house after I got my own apartment. My dad was giving me grief as usual.

Finally, I stood up and said, I dont live here anymore. I dont have to put up with you this way any longer. Im going home.

And walked out.

Experts Say Crazed Sharks Might Be Consuming Cocaine Dropped Off Florida Coast "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The phenomenon of cocaine sharks is taking the spotlight, potentially providing the narrative for the next sensational marine-based disaster film. Researchers are speculating that sharks, driven by hunger and frenzy, might be consuming packages of mind-altering substances discarded off the coast of Florida.

The concept of cocaine sharks, a key feature of Discoverys forthcoming Shark Week, investigates whether these marine predators are feasting on pharmaceuticals jettisoned by passing drug traffickers. However, the marine scientists behind the TV program assert that its objective extends beyond mere sensationalism.

Dr. Tracy Fanara, a Florida-based environmental engineer and leading member of the research team, told The Guardian, Its a catchy headline to shed light on a real problem, that everything we use, everything we manufacture, everything we put into our bodies, ends up in our wastewater streams and natural water bodies, and these aquatic life we depend on to survive are then exposed to that.

Studies have shown that fish are being affected by drugs such as pharmaceuticals, cocaine, methamphetamines, and ketamine. If these cocaine bales are a point source of pollution, its very plausible [sharks] can be affected by this chemical. Cocaine is so soluble that any of those packages open just a little, the structural integrity is destroyed and the drug is in the water, Fanara adds.

The show Cocaine Sharks is anticipated to be a major attraction of Shark Week, Discovery networks annual popular showcase of the species ranging from great whites, hammerheads, and tiger sharks to the smallest varieties.

During their six-day research expedition in the Florida Keys, an ecologically sensitive island chain off the states southern tip, Fanara and British marine biologist Tom Hird observed sharks displaying unusual behaviors. A hammerhead, a species that would typically avoid humans, approached the divers directly, moving erratically. They also noticed a sandbar shark swimming in circles, fixated on an imaginary object.

The researchers conducted experiments, including dropping dummy bales in the water, which many of the sharks bit into, and loading balls of bait with highly concentrated fish powder to simulate cocaine. The effect, the researchers noted, was similar to the impact of catnip on cats.

Terminator Director James Cameron Says I Warned You About The Rise Of AI "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The renowned director of the iconic movie The Terminator, James Cameron, has recently shared his thoughts on the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). As the sophistication of computer programming continues to evolve, Cameron calls back to his 1984 film, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, to express his concerns.

In a recent interview with CTV News, Cameron stated, I warned you guys in 1984, and you didnt listen, referring to the potential dangers of AI. The Terminator, a science fiction film released in 1984, tells the story of a cyborg assassin and a sentient artificially intelligent defense network, which seems increasingly relevant in todays context.

Cameron believes that the weaponization of AI is the most significant threat. He predicts a scenario akin to a nuclear arms race with AI, where nations will feel compelled to develop AI weaponry simply because their adversaries are doing so, leading to a dangerous escalation.

Despite the rapid progress in AI, Cameron doesnt foresee AI replacing writers in the near future. He argues that a disembodied mind, merely regurgitating what other embodied minds have said about life, love, fear, and mortality, cannot create content that truly resonates with an audience. He suggests waiting for 20 years to see if an AI can win an Oscar for Best Screenplay before taking the potential of AI in creative fields seriously.

Now, lets delve deeper into the topic of AI and its implications, as discussed by Cameron and other experts in the field.

Artificial Intelligence has been a subject of fascination and concern for many years, with its potential to revolutionize various sectors, including healthcare, finance, and transportation. However, as Cameron points out, the weaponization of AI...

Coconut Hibiscus Jello "IndyWatch Feed Food"

It has been full on here in Tennessee. I am a finish carpenter and have been making hay while the sun is out so to speak.  But this jello has been a good one to have in the fridge. Especially in the southern heat.  I will bring some with me to work in my cooler and the tartness of the hibiscus is so bright and cool when the air is thick and the sun is hot. The fat of the coconut milk fills me up too.  It has become a really nice and refreshing snack for the work day. This recipe uses a hibiscus concentrate which is really easy to make. Youll have some left over if you follow my recipe, and that is a beautiful thing. You can add it to sparkling water, dilute it and drink it as is, cold or hot, or anything else you can dream up that needs that hibiscus magic. That dark rich color of this hibiscus is truly stunning.

Recipe moderator note We recommend  Perfect Supplements gelatin. Enjoy 10% off your entire cart with the coupon code nourish. Other brands wed recommend include Bernard Jenson sold by Radiant Life and Vital Proteins sold by Radiant Life.

Ingredients

  • 1 can organic full fat coconut milk
  • 1 cans worth hibiscus concentrate
  • cup honey
  • cup gelatin
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Instructions Hibiscus Concentrate

  1. To make the hibiscus concentrate, place 1 cup of hibiscus in 1 quart of water and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat.  Allow to steep and cool for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Strain out hibiscus.  Your hibiscus concentrate is now ready to use. Store in a jar in the fridge.

Instructions Jello

  1. In a mixing bowl add 1 can or organic full fat coconut milk.
  2. Use coconut milk can to measure one cans worth of hibiscus concentrate and add to the mixing bowl.
  3. Add a pinch of sea salt to the bowl.
  4. Add cup of honey to the hibiscus coconut mixture.
  5. I found that cup of honey gave it a pleasant sweetness without making it seem like a dessert, you might want to add more if you want a sweeter jello, I think children might appreciate a little more sweetness.  The mixture is now ready to set with gelatin.
  6. Bloom cup of gelatin with abo...

America Compromised by Internal Betrayal "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Image result for stolene 2020 election

Masses of hard working law abiding citizens were shocked at the blatant bloodless coup of 2020 when the Presidential Election was decided in an unbelievable fashion. How an incumbent American president could be unseated by an old doddering fool known for his gaffes and disrespect for Americans, who couldnt draw a crowd of more than a hundred if even that and had to cancel in Phoenix due to no shows, while Donald Trump drew record crowds that would pack stadiums and leave people standing a city black outside. It was uncanny! For the first time those who hate America unashamedly demonstrated just how far they would go even if it appeared amazingly obvious.

Image result for Stalin on vote counting

The real conspiracy

For this all to come off there had to have been a well-coordinated plan Smurfs those Democrat operatives who would take, for example a 200 million dollar illegal campaign donation, and break it down into what would appear to be smaller amounts by multiple Democrat supporters distributed by many donors. There had to be planned ballot harvesting strategy as well so that as many votes as needed would appear to outperform the voting frequency of the Trump campaign. The true Russian collusion that was alleged over Donald J. Trump was in reality, the Democrats who plotted, who coordinated, and who cut a deal with all broadcasting corporations and social platforms to make the coup de tat appear as seamless as possible.

Image result for secret ballots brought to the polling centers wee hours of the morning

Inventing a deceptive scenario

Thanks to the distraction and fear mongering of a corona virus plague, the lockdowns, the mandated vaccinations, the masking, and the limited transportation granted the population under the government implemented scare tactics, everything that would seem to justify the mail in voting, the ballot harvesting, the disappearance of entire mail trucks full of votes, the filmed actions of supervisors pulling out secret ballots after poll workers had been instructed to go home for the evening, the secret incoming trucks full of ballots coming into the polling facilities in the wee hours of the morning, along with the deliberate obstruction of  the view of poll watchers, was all the obvious intentional irregularities that were in evidence. That fact that postal union workers very much under the control of the Democrats, all operated as a machine of decept...

The UN Goes Into Overdrive With Climate Fearmongering "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

by Andy Rowlands, Last week the UN said climate change is out of control after the mini-heatwave experienced across much of Europe in June The Guardian, that bastion of accurate reporting, was quick to ramp up the fearmongering, but its article shot itself in the foot by including comments from NOAA that observations are not matching computer predictions. The article reads:
After record breaking days on Monday and Tuesday, unofficial analysis shows the world may have seen its hottest seven days in a row.
Unofficial. May. Is this what passes for science now; supposition?

If we persist in delaying key measures that are needed, I think we are moving into a catastrophic situation, as the last two records in temperature demonstrates, Antnio Guterres said, referring to the world temperature records broken on Monday and Tuesday.

The average global air temperature was 17.18C (62.9F) on Tuesday, according to data collated by the US National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), surpassing the record 17.01C reached on Monday.

That figure was for one day. The average global temperature for much of the last 600 million years has been 22C as you can see in the image below. The average global temperature now is 12C. As we sh...

Climate corporation moves to seize private land to reduce carbon emissions "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

'Have you ever heard of a private company using eminent domain to take property?'

A climate corporation is trying to gain access to dozens of private properties in South Dakota against their owners consent so it can build a carbon capture pipeline.

Summit Carbon Solutions intends for the pipeline, which will cross five states in the Midwest, to capture carbon dioxide before it is released into the atmosphere and store it underground in South Dakota. The $4.5 billion pipeline will be built across Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and North Dakota as well.

However, the company has been running into some resistance, particularly in South Dakota where landowners tried refusing the corporation access to conduct initial surveys. The surveys involve drilling holes into the ground, 312 inches in diameter and up to 200 feet deep, which can adversely affect crops.

In response to their refusal, Summit sued over 80 landowners to gain forced access to their properties. The companys lawyers have also threatened the farmers with eminent domain forced land expropriation if they do not agree to sell the company easements on their properties.

A judge granted Summit its request to conduct surveys on lands without the property owners consent provided that the company serve 30 days notice,...

Calling Occupants The UFO Threat Narrative vs CE5 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft The UFO Threat Narrative VS CE-5

Rev. Kat Carroll Since the first announcement by the military of UFOs in our airspace in 2019, talking points have been ramping up. The Pentagon has their team analyzing the threat narrative while Congress decides what to do with the information, artifacts and technology discovered in crash retrievals. There are agencies within the government that the public was unaware of, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Applications Program (AAWSAP), the Pentagons All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office to track UFO activity near military installations (AARO), and now, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF). Its getting difficult to keep up with all the anacronyms. The secret programs help me understand where the real threat is coming from and it doesn't appear to be alien.  Research has shown that information from CIA insiders is dodgy at best (See "The UFO Lie" at the end of article). I find it odd that after a century of hiding or downplaying sightings and contact reports that these agencies now want to step in and take control of the information (again).  There have been few, if any reports, on actual attacks or collisions caused by UFOs. Scientists no longer want us to use the term UFO as its associated with extraterrestrials. They now prefer the term UAP, unidentified aerial phenomena. Perhaps its because they have successfully back engineered craft that can fly with gravity defying abilities and at hypersonic speeds. They can also cloak and may be drones, controlled remotely. Tic Tac anyone? NASA now even has an ...

Bitcoins six-year range inside a rising channel has drawn the attention of a curious but optimistic analyst. Previewing the price chart shows that the coin has been in range over the years, capturing all of its volatility. Despite occasional dumps and pumps, the structure is yet to be broken.

By the time the screenshot was shared on July 21, Bitcoin was trading in the lower part of the rising channel, skirting the support trend line, an indicator that prices have been generally lower in recent months. The rejection of lower lows and bounce from the support trend line, the analyst says, is bullish and squarely puts back bulls in contention.

Bitcoin To $175,000?

According to the traders assessment, a breakout above the upper resistance level at around $32,000 could potentially trigger a new bull run that may see the worlds most valuable cryptocurrency retest highs of the rising channel at $175,000, a level that upbeat HODLers can mark as a feasible target.

Still, considering the volatility in crypto, this bullish forecast cannot be dismissed. To illustrate, the last bull run drove Bitcoin prices from sub-$10,000 to peaks of $69,000 in less than two years. Therefore, if Bitcoin bulls push above $32,000, a price level that the analyst claim is important, it could be a bullish signal that may be the beginning of another leg up in the resumption of the bullish formation set in motion between 2020 and 2021.

Bitcoin is trading below the $30,000 level at spot rates with resistance at $31,800. Despite the general optimism across the board, bulls are yet to breach July 2023 highs as prices consolidate.

Halving And ETF Approval As Tailwinds?

Specific triggers for the next run are unknown for now. Even so, considering past cycles, the upcoming Bitcoin halving event may provide the impetus for a leg up toward 2021 highs at $69,000. Besides, traders are closely monitoring how the spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications in the United States progresses.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has rejected several spot Bitcoin ETF applications in the past. However, the involvement of BlackRock has been received positively, lifting prices in the past few weeks. BlackRock is the worlds largest asset manager, managing trillions.

The approval of a Bitcoin ETF would ease institutional investors involvement in the sphere, potentially driving demand and lifting prices. Most importantly, a Bitcoin ETF legiti...

She Bought A Friend His Dream Present and His Girlfriend Got Mad. Is She Wrong? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITAGiftOutshine She Bought A Friend His Dream Present and His Girlfriend Got Mad. Is She Wrong?

Uh ohit sounds like theres some serious competition going on here between this woman and her friends girlfriend

But can you really blame someone for getting their friend a great present?

Thats the big question in this story from Reddits Am I the A**hole? page.

Check out this womans story and see if you think she was out of line.

AITA for purchasing my guy friend his dream birthday present and outshining his girlfriend in the process?

My guy friend, Tom, has been one of my best friends since college. Were in our mid 20s now and are both currently in committed relationships with long term partners. I have never had feelings for Tom nor has he ever had feelings for me.

Since college, Tom has been a huge watch fanatic. Two months ago, he was showing me this stunning vintage watch and made an off-handed comment about how he would die of joy if he somehow got his hands on one.

Very coincidentally, I was in NYC a few weeks ago and stumbled upon this watch store that just so happened to have the exact one Tom wanted. It was expensive, I wont lie, at about $2,500, but I decided to get it for his 25th birthday (to me, it was basically fate lol).

My boyfriend and I do very well financially so this was something that I could personally afford and wanted to buy for Tom, especially knowing how happy itd make him.

Tom has a tradition...

From Polygon NFT Wins To MATIC Gains: Understanding The Connection "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Polygon has recently witnessed a remarkable surge in its non-fungible tokens (NFTs) sales volume and the influx of sellers participating in this burgeoning market.

This growth in the NFT sector has sparked considerable interest and speculation among investors, prompting many to ponder the potential impact it may have on the price of MATIC, the native cryptocurrency of the Polygon network.

However, despite the impressive surge in NFT sales volume and seller participation, a closer examination reveals that not everything works in Polygons favor.

While the NFT market on the platform may be flourishing, other factors could impact the overall sentiment and performance of MATIC.

MATIC Price Movement In Response To Metric Movement

The recent MATIC price report indicates a remarkable surge in Polygon NFT sellers, recording a staggering increase of over 480% within the last 30 days.

Meanwhile, MATICs current price stands at $0.772874 according to Coingecko, experiencing a 1.6% rally in the last 24 hours but also facing a 4.3% decline. Several factors could explain this lackluster price performance.

For one, market sentiment plays a crucial role in shaping cryptocurrency prices, and during this period, overall opinion towards cryptocurrencies, including MATIC, might not have been favorable.

Dave Grohl Plays Metallica Cover With a Talented 10-Year-Old Fan "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Dave Grohl Plays Metallica Cover With a Talented 10-Year-Old Fan

Dave Grohl plays the guitar during a Foo Fighters show

Dave Grohl is no stranger to sharing the stage with young, impromptu collaborators. Not only has he invited talented teen guitarists to perform with him during live shows, but he has also given them a boost for their emerging careers. This time, the Foo Fighters frontman made a little fan's dream come true by performing a Metallica song with himchanging his life for good.

In 2018, 10-year-old Collier Cash attended a Foo Fighters concert in Kansas City. After the band finished their main set and returned for an encore, Collier found a chance to ask the musicians if he could play with them. Looking back at the experience four years later, Collier writes: I was 10 years old. Who does that? Lets a 10-year-old on stage? Dave Grohl does.

Since the band already played all of the Foo Fighters' songs he knew on guitar, Collier figured it was best to go with something else. So, when Grohl asked him what songs he knew, Collier replied, I know a lot of Metallica songs. Grohl is visibly amused at the remark, and says, Do you wanna do a Metallica song? After Collier agrees, the Foo Fighters frontman wonders out loud if he knows a lot of Metallica songs.

Grohl then hands Collier his guitar, and to everyone's surprise, the talented boy goes straight into the intro of Enter Sandman without missing a note. After recognizing the first notes from the song, the late drummer Taylor Hawkins joins immediately. Meanwhile, Grohl does his best to sing the lyrics in James Hetfield's deep tone. At the same time, Collier confidently walks across the stage, playing a guitar that is almost as large as he is. Then, when the song hits the chorus, t...

Maker (MKR) Surges 26% In A Week As Token Buyback Program Goes Live "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

In the past week, Maker (MKR) token has captured significant attention in the crypto market, surging an impressive 26%. This remarkable price action coincides with the introduction of a groundbreaking token buyback program by the leading decentralized finance (DeFi) lending platform, MakerDAO. As the DeFi ecosystem continues to expand, Maker (MKR) stands out as one of the largest and oldest DeFi lending protocols, gaining popularity for its issuance of the widely used DAI stablecoin with a market value of $4.6 billion.

MKR Token Buyback Program Triggers Surge

The recent surge in Maker (MKR), the governance token of the $5.3 billion decentralized finance (DeFi) lender MakerDAO, can be attributed to the implementation of a token buyback program. The token buyback scheme, named the Smart Burn Engine, is designed to remove MKR tokens from the market. The mechanism involves allocating excess DAI stablecoins from Makers surplus buffer to purchase MKR tokens from a UniSwap pool. The governance proposal behind this initiative aims to strengthen the tokens value and governance while actively engaging MKR holders in voting on crucial proposals.

Related Reading: Dogecoin Becomes 8th-Largest Cryptocurrency After Adding $1 Billion To Market Cap

According to blockchain data, the lending platform is poised to remove approximately $7 million worth of MKR governance tokens from the market over the next month through this buyback initiative. With the tokens total market capitalization standing at around $1 billion, the buyback represents a 0.7% reduction in the tokens supply per month, potentially enhancing MKRs scarcity and value proposition. This strategic move is likely to attract further interest and investment from the crypto community.

The token buyback program has already shown promising results, with MakerDAO purchasing approximately $230,000 worth of MKR tokens within the last 24 hours. This early success indicates positive momentum and investor interest in the buyback initiative.

Maker: Significant Developments In 2023

In addition to the token buyback program, MakerDAO has been proactively diversifying its revenue streams by investing its DAI reserve assets into traditional financial products, such as bank loans and government bonds. This strategic decision has proven to be fruitful, as it enables the platform to generate sustainable revenue from yields, providing a solid basis for potential growth and long-term value. Unlike meme coins lacking tangible business prospects, Makers diversified revenue streams instill confidence in investors and the broader DeFi community, making it an attractive investment option.

Your Precoiner Friends Might Not Understand The Problems That Bitcoin Is Solving "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Mickey Koss, a West Point graduate with a degree in economics. He spent four years in the infantry before transitioning to the Finance Corps.

It may seem counterintuitive, but in my last four years serving for the U.S. Army, Ive essentially been a customer service specialist, whether its addressing pay issues in the military pay office as a commander, or addressing travel or budget questions as a comptroller in an operational unit.

Of late, Ive found myself asking more questions of the customers than theyve been asking of me. Ive come to realize that many people dont really understand the problems they are experiencing. And, because of this conundrum, the questions they ask me when seeking assistance may not yield an answer that actually solves those problems. Ive come to realize that a large part of my job has become uncovering the actual problems, so that I can fix them at their roots.

Therein lies a common thread Ive found with orange pilling and teaching people about Bitcoin. Much like the soldier who approaches me, asking a question that doesnt quite make sense, your friends and family may be asking you strange questions as well without a real understanding of what problems Bitcoin is trying to solve.

As stewards of the Bitcoin space and de facto ambassadors to our circles of acquaintance, I see the Bitcoiners role as similar to that of a customer service professional. People dont understand the monetary system, let alone the problems they face within. (Insert the potentially-overused analogy about asking a fish about water here.)

Instead of answering questions blindly and taking them at face value, I challenge you to dig a little deeper next time. Help your curious friend understand what they are asking. Help them uncover the issues they didnt know they cared about. Help them ask the right questions. Otherwise, they may never get their problems solved.

This is a guest post by Mickey Koss. Opinions expressed are entirely their own and do not necessarily reflect those of BTC Inc or Bitcoin Magazine.

Ethereum (ETH) Records Highest CEX Inflows In 2 Months "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Over the past week, Ethereum (ETH) registered the highest inflows into centralized exchanges (CEX) in the past two months. These significant asset movements have suggested a potential price dip for ETH.

CoinGecko data shows that the second-largest cryptocurrency has been experiencing a slight price decline, losing 2.5% of its value in the past week. As of this writing, the Ether token changes hand at $1,892.65, with a negligible 0.2% gain in the last 24 hours.

Ethereum Registers $383 Million Worth Of ETH In CEX Inflows

According to data from IntoTheBlock, Ethereum witnessed the largest inflows into centralized exchanges in the past two months. The data analytics platform found that at least $383 million worth of ETH was deposited into these exchanges.

IntoTheBlock also revealed that a significant percentage of the CEX inflows came from a single address and in a single transaction. This deposit came from an old wallet that accumulated 61,216 ETH during the Ethereum Initial Coin Offering (ICO).

This pre-mine wallet had been dormant for eight years, with its constituent ETH worth more than $116 million untouched. On Wednesday, July 19, this address became activated, and its stash of Ether tokens was abruptly moved to another address associated with the Kraken exchange.

Data from Whale Alert shows that a significant amount of Ether tokens has been transferred to crypto exchanges by several whales over the past week. Notably, more than 200,000 Ether tokens have been transferred to Coinbase in separate transactions within this period.

Indeed, the movement of massive amounts of ETH to centralized exchanges can signal impending selling pressure, which can drive the assets price down. However, not all large transfers to an exchange precipitate a downward price movement, as the whales might not intend to sell immediately or all at once.

Total ETH Staked Reaches All-Time High

The Ethereum network has been experiencing a steady increase in the total amount of ETH staked on the blockchain. According to data from IntoTheBlock, this figure has reached $52.3 billion, representing its highest value ever.

The data analytics company also noted that with an increasing amount of staked ETH, the Ethereum blockchain is bound to become even more secure, as there will be a corresponding decrease in the risk of the network being taken over...

AITAWorkFreeRides Person Demands Money From a Co Worker After Giving Them Free Rides for 14 Months. Were They Wrong?

And sometimes you just have to put folks like that in their place.

Is this person an a**hole for finally laying down the law and asking a co-worker for money after months of free rides?

Lets take a look at what they had to say in this story from Reddits Am I the A**hole? page.

AITA for demanding my coworker pay me for a ride to work after many months of giving her a free ride?

For the last fourteen months, I have been driving one of my coworkers to and from work.

She only lives a mile up the road from me and is on the way, so Ive never asked her for a dime or accepted when shes offered me money. From my perspective, Im going there either way, and her overall household expenses are higher than my own, so it felt like the thing to do.

Over the weekend, my car went to the shop. I told my coworker that I wouldnt be available to give her a ride either Monday or Tuesday. She said it wasnt a problem because her boyfriend is off this week and would give her a ride. I asked if I could bum a ride as well.

I even offered to walk to her home so they wouldnt have to drive backwards. She asked her boyfriend about it and he said he would, but he wanted $20 for the two days.

However, recent events have catapulted this canine-inspired cryptocurrency into the spotlight, as an astonishing 3 trillion SHIB tokens were accumulated by investors.

Cryptocurrencies are renowned for their inherent volatility, and Shiba Inu is no exception. The tokens meteoric popularity and the passionate community backing it have contributed to its roller-coaster journey on the market.

But with the recent accumulation of such an astronomical number of SHIB tokens, questions arise about how this development will reverberate throughout the ecosystem and influence its market value.

SHIB Token Accumulation And Price Stability

A recent SHIB price report highlights a notable surge in SHIB token accumulation by investors, indicating heightened interest and confidence in the cryptocurrency.

With approximately 3 trillion SHIB tokens, amounting to a significant value of over $23 million being bought from exchanges within a two-day period, it appears that investors are actively seeking to bolster their positions in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

Despite the substantial increase in token accumulation, the Shiba Inu price has not witnessed any significant change, leaving investors somewhat disconcerted.

A lack of price movement often results in a scenario where investors adopt a wait-and-see approach, keeping their holdings static rather than engaging in active trades. This phenomenon, commonly known as sitting ducks, can hinder the overall liquidity and dynamism of the SHIB market.

Here Are The Weirdest Things People Have Seen Who Work For The Wealthiest People In the World "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

SuperWealthyWeirdAR Here Are The Weirdest Things People Have Seen Who Work For The Wealthiest People In the World

You never really know what its like to be around incredibly wealthy people unless you spend a good deal of time with them.

And those of us who have never been around the elite for long periods of time are in for a big treat today!

Because these AskReddit users shared the weird and interesting things theyve seen while working for wealthy folks.

Take a look!

Big money.

I worked as one of four full-time groundskeepers at a large estate.

46 acres of lawn to mow twice a week. 2 clay tennis courts, 3 pools, one for the main house and one for each of the two guest houses. 100+ acre private lake with boat house. No clue how big the whole estate was including the woods.

Personal favorite was the 3 mile personal race track. But what really blew my mind was that he hosted his nieces wedding one summer, paid $350k to have this massive willow tree trucked in and planted by the lake for wedding photos.

Only to pay another $50k to have it removed and the landscaping returned to its original state after the wedding because he did not like the look of it.

The butler.

My sister is a butler for a super wealthy family she told me a couple crazy stories.

The family once got this super expensive rare breed cat and a few months later the wife tells my sister she can feel the cat isnt quite happy in t...

XDC Network Dominates Weekend Top 100 Roster With 50% Rally "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The price of the XDC Network token, XDC, has increased for a total of five consecutive days and is currently trading at its highest level since April 2022. The token climbed more than 40% from its lowest point this month to its highest level.

At the time of writing, XDC was priced at 0.049, up a solid 16.6% in the last 24 hours. But it was the tokens seven-day performance that was most impressive when it soared 50%, dominating the list of the weekends top 100 coin listing at crypto market tracker Coingecko.

XDC Network has experienced an improvement of 97.17% so far this year. The price of the token is rising with a chance of trend reversal, recovering from the trendline to hit new peaks while bumping up against resistance at $0.04 and support at $0.03. It is anticipated that strong support will raise prices and establish new demand regions.

The coin has gone over the 50-day and 25-day moving averages on the daily chart, which is positive. The market capitalization of XDC Networks token is now $683,630,126 following recent price movement. Most importantly, since this price was the highest on June 1st, XDC is clinging to a key resistance level. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has risen to an overbought state.

Enterprises can use the XDC Network (XDC), as it is a blockchain that has both public and private components. Its the XinFin Networks fuel token, allowing for a wide range of blockchain applications. Enterprises wishing to create or extend their infrastructure in a blockchain ecosystem will find the networks interoperable smart contracts and frictionless payments appealing.

The 2017-founded XDC Network has seen price swings during the course of its existence. It experienced a period of fall after achieving its all-time high of $0.17 during the 2021 bull cycle, before reaching new lows in July 2022.

Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Leaving Her Surprise Wedding Because She Felt Blindsided "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITABlindsideWedding Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Leaving Her Surprise Wedding Because She Felt Blindsided

Who does this kind of thing?

Im talking about blindsiding your significant other with a surprise wedding?

Ive never heard of such a thing!

But I guess its a thing because this woman just had to deal with itand shes not happy!

But did she act like an a**hole by leaving the party?

Lets get the whole story below.

AITA for leaving my surprise wedding because I felt blindsided?

Last week, I (30F) was invited to a supposedly fancy party by my longtime boyfriend, Mark (32M). We had been dating for five years, and while we had discussed marriage before, there were no immediate plans for a wedding.

Excited about the event, I dressed up in my best attire and arrived at the designated venue. As I entered the grand hall, I was completely taken aback to see all of our family, friends, and acquaintances gathered, eagerly waiting. It turns out, Mark had orchestrated an elaborate surprise wedding for us without my knowledge.

Everyone erupted into applause as I stood there, shocked and overwhelmed. I just felt a mix of emotions. While I love Mark and had dreamed of our future together, the idea of getting married without any prior discussion or consent felt like a breach of trust.

So, I pulled Mark aside and tried to express my concerns and reservations about the surprise wedding. I explained that I wanted a say in the plan...

Man Loses Consciousness From Crossing Arms Too Hard at Show "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Willimantic, Conn. Local man Robby Walsh experienced an unprecedented medical emergency when he passed out from vigorously crossing his arms during the set of opening band Trucknutz at The GNC Beatdown Festival, venue officials confirmed.

Yeah we see this all the time. I havent worked a gig yet where every miserable fuck in the room isnt crossing their arms. But this was different, said head of security and Big Donnie Peters. As soon as this guy buried his mitts in his pits I smelled trouble. Super aggro. For a second I thought he was a new security hire, or maybe he was just holding in a big shit. But the harder the band played, the harder this angry little fucker crossed his arms, until his face went blue and then BAM!, lights out. His head hitting the floor sounded like dropping a wet sock on concrete.

Scene samaritan Ryan Loudermilk recounted thinking on his feet in a moment when the victim simply could not.

In our scene, you go down, we pick your ass back up. Problem was, this band was such dogshit that we werent about to uncross our arms, even to help this kid out, Loudermilk said. So we compromised and lent a foot instead. Since we couldnt do much we just sort of kicked him around to see if he would wake back up. When the medics arrived they said we probably did irreversible damage to his organs but we did what we could to help. But get this: despite being booted repeatedly while the worst band in the entire world played he stayed cross-armed, too. Legend.

Deborah Kelb, retired bail bondswoman turned EMT, was gobsmacked when she arrived at the venue.

I mostly get called to these shows because some candyass fumbles a stage dive or a promoter stiffs the band and gets his comeuppance. But this was a first responder first, said Kelb. Dipshits arms were pretzeled so tightly that he actually squeezed tie dye out of his t-shirt. We played it by the book and tried everything we could to get his arms back to normal. Tummy tickles. Nut punches. I even flashed my titties. Twice. Nothing. Thank Christ the Willimantic Fire Department showed. You ever seen the jaws of life used on a mans arms before?

The heroic rescue pivoted tragedy into triumph, inspiring everyone in attendance to uncross their arms and applaud, which at the time of press were two things frontman Scotty D confirmed, Never happen at Trucknutz shows.

Every The Casket Lottery Album Ranked Worst to Best "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

The Casket Lottery is an emo band from the midwest, but theyre not necessarily midwest emo. Come to think of it, theyre not really emo eitherno, theyre definitely emo, but not with all the usually expected trappings. Anyway, The Casket lottery put out three full-length albums, then called it quits for a while and did other shit. 10 years later, they put out another full-length album. And then eight years later we got another album. They also did a bunch of rad stuff with Small Brown Bike and Hot Water Music.

That being said, heres the definitive ranking of all of The Casket Lottery LPs.

5. Choose Bronze (1999)

Knowing now what we didnt know back in 1999, its fair to say that although this album is not without its charm, its the weakest in the discography. If youre familiar with the bands canon, youll recognize Nates signature Telecaster shimmer, Stacys reliably crunchy and intricate bass work, and the other Nates expertly syncopated drums. This album came out when they were like 15 years old, so it evokes that feeling you get when you break curfew and your moms boyfriend keeps bumming your cigs. But still, this album has a charming aggression to it that only comes with youth.

Play it again: Midway
Skip it: Softie

Honorable Mention: Possibilities and Maybes (2003)

Possibilities and Maybes is technically not canon, but its a memorable album of B-sides that comes with strong recommendation. Theres previously unheard of stuff from their first three albums. There are demos and remixes. They even do a faithful cover of Synchronicity II by The Police, which is actually easier to listen to than the original

I Lived It: I Pet Two Street Cats at the Same Time and Now Im Powerful Enough to Fight God "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

It happened at 3 p.m. on a Friday. It was one of those days that was beautiful and just slightly breezy. You know, the kind that makes you happy to be alive. After all, you never forget the first day that you pet 2 street cats at the same time.

I was on my way home from the bodega when it crossed my path in a flash of orange. Id know that silhouette anywhere. I stopped dead in my tracks. Id been down that street every day since I moved in a year ago. How could I not have known?

At first I crouched down and pulled out a chip from my snack haul. The cat was under a car looking at me. He was considering it, I could feel it. We exchanged slow blinks in a sacred dance of the ages. I wanted him to feel not just comfortable but soothed.

I could tell I was in immediately. By then I was cross-legged on the sidewalk. I put my hand out. He skipped the sniff stage and went straight in for the pet. I was a cheek in when I heard itit was faint at first but gaining volume. A bell.

I looked up and there it was, bounding towards me, collar jingling in the wind. A SECOND cat. My hand in between the ears of the first, I reached my palm out towards the second, the sun shining onto my fingertips. It met a nose, then a chest. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes.

People walked by on their way to lunch or to spend time with their loved ones. Couldnt they see?? This moment was magic. This moment was the stuff of mythos. I was the Ratatouille of street cats. I could feel my body levitating. The cats and I were one.

It may sound crazy, but I do believe I achieved ego death that day. As Athena rose from Zeus head, my own spirit guides came to me in that moment. They revealed to me the interconnectedness of everything. And when I close my eyes theyre still with me, jingling away.

Uncle Weirdly Defensive Over Being Told Majority of Original Faces of Death Was Staged "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

CORTLAND, N.Y. Local plumber and barfly Randy Kunzelman became borderline irate after a family member told him most of the horrific footage featured in the original Faces of Death was staged by the filmmakers, several mulleted sources report.

When my niece Dani casually mentioned to me, You know most of Faces of Death was fake, right? I coulda slapped my brother for raising his child like that, Kunzelman said, adding she always was the weird one. No way in hell that stuffs fake. I saw it on VHS when I was 11 years old, and it pretty much scarred me for life. For 42 years Ive avoided going to the zoo because I didnt want to look at the monkeys and think of that brain scene. Now its all of a sudden its fake? What, next youre gonna tell me the narrators name isnt really Francis B. Grss or something? Get outta here.

Randy Kunzelmans nephew and bearer of bad news Danny Kunzelman could see that the news of the snuff film being mostly staged had a profound effect on his uncle.

Ive never seen a grown man act like that. He got bright red, started sweating, and I saw tears in his eyes as he called me a liar and a disgrace to the family. It was tough, the 22-year-old explained. It was sort of like when an older sibling tells you Santa isnt real for the first time. I could tell he was angry, sad, and confused all at once. It was nearly as bad as when my dad told him professional wrestling was scripted, I dont think he visited us for a whole year after that. Poor guy.

Horror connoisseur and contributor to Fangoria magazine Frank Emge noted how other films have duped entire generations.

Much like the subject matter of Faces of Death, reality can be a hard thing to accept sometimes, Emge said. If you have spent the last 40 years talking about seeing a snuff film as a child and then then you have the rug ripped out from under you its hard to accept. A whole generation of kids became basement-dwelling couch potatoes because the Blair Witch Project scared them so much, to the point where they never wanted to go play in the woods. Even though the material is fake, these deceptive filmmakers have blood on their hands. Or at least corn syrup on their hands.

At press time, Kunzelman had finally mustered up the courage to visit a zoo, only to be quickly scared off after seeing a man photographing a grizzly bear.

Nigerians Boycott CBDCs "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

HenryMakow.com July 21, 2023

As the numbers show, less than 1 in 10,000 Nigerians uses the eNaira on a weekly basis, even though the Nigerian government is promoting it heavily, limiting cash withdrawals to $45/day, and creating a huge cash shortage in Nigeria as the CBN is not printing new bills and taking away the old ones.

by Edward Menez (henrymakow.com)

NIGERIANS DONT TRUST THEIR GOVERNMENTS CBDC

The Nigerian government became the second government in the world to release a CBDC. So far, it hasnt proven successful:

Launched in October 2021, the eNaira became the worlds second public CBDC, after the Bahamas Sand Dollar project. Two months away from a second anniversary, the digital currency is still struggling with adoption. A recent IMF report showed that the average number of eNaira transactions is about 14,000 per weekonly 1.5% of the number of wallets. This suggests that 98.5% of wallets, for any given week, have not been used even once. These numbers reflect a disappointingly low adoption.

https://techcabal.com/2023/07/13/enaira-blockchain-currency-low-adoption/

But its even worse than that: There are only 13 million wallets in Nigeria for a country with over 200 million people.  So only 6-7% of the population even has a wallet.  And only 1.5% of those wallets are being used each week,

Thats a new one!

But was that step necessary or did this woman act like a total a**hole?

Read on to get all the details and see what you think.

AITA for showing a spread sheet of everything I pay for and showing there dad doesnt do s**t?

Ok Im getting mixed opinions from this. Two kids 13 and 11, Im not going to lie we live a pretty frugal life, all my extra money I make goes into their college accounts or fun weekends.

Dad has them once a month and is the fun parent. Cant get his child payments in but willing to do a surprise trip to Kennywood. Its frustrating all right.

I try not to say anything bad about him but he has been pushing the narrative that without him and the money he gives me we wouldnt have the home. Its so false, and now the kids are going well dad pays for this.

My last straw is when the kids told me that its dad who pays for the home. So I pulled up my budget spreadsheet and it includes all the stuff that he pays for, so child support and he hasnt paid for the past two months.

The kids were upset for being lied to and the oldest get in an argument with him since she called to confirm.

We got in a argument and he is calling me a jerk. My friends are split on this and I am wondering if I went too far.

Can Iron Deficiency Cause Low Milk Supply? "IndyWatch Feed Fertility"

Have you been diagnosed with iron deficiency recently?

Are you breastfeeding and concerned iron deficiency can cause low milk supply?

Women who are breastfeeding are more likely to have low iron after birth.

This due to depletion during pregnancy and childbirth.

Can lron Deficiency Cause Low Milk Supply?

After birth, vaginal bleeding for six weeks can also leave new mothers lower in iron.

This is a vulnerable time as you establish breastfeeding and your milk supply settles.

Its common for there to be a few challenges along the way as you and your baby become skilled at breastfeeding.

Worrying about iron deficiency affecting your milk supply the last thing you need to worry about.

What Is Iron Deficiency?

Iron deficiency can occur naturally due to increased blood volume during pregnancy.

However, there is also a greater demand for iron during pregnancy.

From both the growing baby and the placenta.

During birth, its also common to lose some blood which further reduces available iron.

This leads to abnormally low levels of red blood cells or haemoglobin. This means your blood isnt able to carry as much oxygen to your muscles and tissues.

Symptoms of iron deficiency include:

  • Dizziness
  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath
  • Feeling cold

If low iron levels arent corrected, this can lead to anaemia.

Iron deficiency anemia is a much more severe form of iron deficiency.

You can be mildly, moderately or severely iron deficient. Iron deficiency anaemia is a more severe form of iron deficiency. This can also be mild, moderate or severe.

Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anaemia in pregnancy.

You can read more in Anaemia During Pregnancy | Causes, Symptoms and Treatment.

Iron-deficiency anaemia during pregnancy occurs in around 20% of women in developed countries.

So, can iron-deficiency anaemia be a problem for milk supply?

Iron Deficiency Anaemia May Impact Milk Supply

It is currently not clear whether iron deficiency anaemia may affect milk supply.

There is only a small amount of observational evidence available for us to look at.

These small studies suggest anaemia may be responsible for low milk supply and the cessation of breastfeeding.

However there is a link between low iron and immune function, which can...

Regenerative Medicine and the Cell Danger Response "IndyWatch Feed Health"

In the first part of this series, I introduced the concept of the Cell Danger Response (CDR), an ancient defensive mechanism cells enter in response to environmental stressors. The CDR is orchestrated by the mitochondria, which switch from a metabolic type that produces energy that sustains the cell to a metabolic state focused on defending the cell (thereby making the cell much more resistant to otherwise lethal injuries).

Once the CDR is activated, the cell enters a partially dormant state (as many cellular functions depend upon the regular activity of the mitochondria) and signals other cells in its vicinity to also enter the CDR.

Ideally, the CDR should proceed through three phases (with the third, CDR3 being where the cell reintegrates with the body) and then terminate. Unfortunately, it often fails to do so, leaving the cells in a chronically impaired state where they are disconnected from the body.

Although the protective role of the CDR has a vital role in sustaining life, in the modern age, people frequently are exposed to a volume of stressors that significantly exceeds what the CDR originally evolved to handle. This results in a chronically activated CDR, which in turn gives rise to a wide range of chronic and complex illnesses.

The medical field (particularly those practicing integrative medicine) has become more and more open to the idea mitochondrial dysfunction is the root cause of many illnesses.

The CDR provides important context to that paradigm, as it illustrates mitochondrial dysfunction is not something that just happens and needs to be treated with supplementation; instead, it often needs to be viewed as an adaptive response, and to treat the mitochondrial dysfunction, the CDR itself must be the focus of treatment.

My focus was drawn back to the CDR after I realized that the most effective treatments I had found for spike protein injuries (e.g., within minutes, they created a dramatic shift in the wellbeing of the patient in some cases restoring functionality which had been lost for months) worked by either repairing the zeta potential of the body or treating the danger response. In turn, Ive come to believe these are two primary issues in patients with spike protein injuries (e.g., from the vaccines).

Unfortunately, while the CDR provides an excellent framework for understanding complex illnesses, the available tools for treating the CDR are still quite limited and require a comprehensive understanding of the CDR to use correctly. Fortunately, another field, regenerative medicine, regularly works with dormant cells and has found a variety of ways to reactivate them.

Surgery and Regenerative Medicine

Often, we run into the problem that a part of the body doesnt work right (to the point it significantly impacts someones...

How Your Future Is Being Decided for You "IndyWatch Feed Health"

In the featured video, Ivor Cummins interviews professor Richard Werner, author of Princes of the Yen Japan's Central Bankers and the Transformation of the Economy1 on The Fat Emperor Podcast. Werner has a Ph.D., in economics from Oxford University. He was a visiting scholar with the bank of Japan back in the 1990s.

In 1995, he created a monetary policy known as quantitative easing, which is intended to help banks get out of financial crises more rapidly and avoid long-term recession.

More recently, Werner created a community interest company called Local First, which provides communities with the know-how to set up local community banks. In this interview, he breaks down how the world works from a central banking standpoint, how ordinary people are affected by these policies, what we can expect from central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and more.

How Central Bankers Rule the World

In his book, Princes of the Yen, Werner describes how theres a small group of insiders inside the central bank, running the whole show. While they direct the medias attention to interest rates, thats a bit of a decoy. Theyre not focused on the price of money but rather the quantity of money, measured in terms of quantity of credit creation.

This tiny core group of insiders are selected in their early 30s when they join the Bank of Japan and told that they will become governor of the bank in 30 years time. These are referred to as the princes. They control the boom-and-bust cycles in Japan, through their control of the quantity of credit.

Similar factions exist in other central banks as well, Werner says, and these central bankers are not accountable for their actions. They use this power to engineer events that serve their own purposes (typically connected to increasing their own power).

In 2003, Werner warned that the European Central Bank (ECB) was a monster that would create bank credit-driven asset bubbles and property bubbles, followed by banking crises and recessions, which is precisely what happened.

The Central Bank Plan to Monopolize Global Finance

Werner points out that while central banks are promoting CBDCs as digital currency, weve had digital currency for decades, so theres nothing new about the digital aspect of this currency. Cash paper banknotes and coins are but a small part about 3% in most countries of the total money supply. The rest is digital.

Today, central banks are the only ones authorized to issue banknotes, but regular banks create 97% of the money...

A Critical Look at 'The China Study' and Other Food Plans "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Editor's Note: This article is a reprint. It was originally published July 8, 2018.

Denise Minger is perhaps most noted for her comprehensive rebuttal of "The China Study" some eight years ago. She's heavily vested in the vegan versus omnivore battle, having cycled through vegetarianism and raw veganism, finally coming full circle to being an omnivore.

Minger took to vegetarianism when she was just 7 years old. "I was eating steak one night at dinner and almost choked on it. I developed some kind of phobia surrounding things with meat textures and went vegetarian overnight," she explains.

Raw Veganism Took a Toll on Health

However, during the 10 years she remained a vegetarian, she began developing food allergies, including wheat and dairy allergies. "By the time I was a teenager, I was really health-conscious," she says. "I had to get into that whole scene just to stay healthy."

At age 15, she discovered the raw vegan movement and got on the 80/10/10 diet, promoted by Dr. Douglas Graham. The diet is based on the hypothesis that we should eat what other primates eat, particularly frugivorous chimpanzees and bonobos.

"I was reading about it online at the age of 15 without having any background in human biology, physiology or anthropology I fell into this trap of logic, that humans are the only animals that cook our food. We're the only animals that eat this species-inappropriate diet, [so] I went raw vegan overnight," she says. "For one year straight, [I ate] nothing but fruits, vegetables and some nuts all uncooked.

I did great for the first month, as most people do when they stop eating crappy foods. After that, I started losing weight and muscle. My hair was falling out. My energy levels were fluctuating like crazy.

I was in high school at the time, taking the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). My brain fog got so bad at one point that when I was taking the SAT, I would read the question and by the time I got to the end I couldn't remember what the first part said

The kicker for me, because I've always taken great care of my teeth, was at the end of this period of raw veganism I had 16 cavities in my mouth, after a lifetime of what had previously been perfect dental health It was actually the dental health issue that really turned my mind around At that point, I had to let go of the vegan philosophy. I had to start questioning things

That's when I came across things like the Weston A. Price Foundation, which [details] what humans have been eating that has supported health in the past. I...

Freemasons are Collecting DNA and Biometric Data of Children for Tracking Purposes "IndyWatch Feed Health"

What is CHiP? The Masonic Child Identification Programs Used to Track Your Child

by Patrick Webb
Leading Report

Excerpts:

According to Wikipedia, North American Masonic lodges have created the Masonic Child Identification Programs (CHIP) as a charitable endeavor to help locate and identify missing children. The Grand Lodge provides financial assistance for CHIP programs, which are run by volunteers from lower-level lodges and are manned by law enforcement and dentistry professionals.

The CHIP programs give parents the option to free-of-charge assemble an identification kit for their child. The kit includes a tooth impression card, a DNA sample, a VHS video, computer disk, or DVD of the child, a fingerprint card, and a physical description of the child. In the event that a kid is reported missing, the kits goal is to give the general public and law authorities access to vital information. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has praised the initiative.

In addition to a video recording the childs appearance and voice, the VHS tape or DVD contains information specific to the childs age group that can help locate kids who might be missing for causes other than abduction.

State and local law enforcement organizations have used the Masonic Child ID Program as their example for creating this service. Masonic CHIP differs from other programs in that municipal and police enforcement organizations often enter all information they get, including fingerprints, into a database.

Peeping Tom Neighbors? New Doorbell Camera Links to Social Media Accounts and Uses Facial Recognition "IndyWatch Feed Health"

by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

Gullible and ignorant Americans are putting more and more of their private lives online often in exchange for the promise of more security.

Big Tech and law enforcement agencies want to thank those of you participating in their plans to create a complete police state where they can track every aspect of your lives through smart devices and homes, as you voluntarily surrender all the data of your personal lives to them.

When the next pandemic or other national emergency false flag event happens, it will be much easier to lock down the public, especially in the cities, as you give them direct livestream access to your homes and neighborhoods.

Irvinei is the latest startup technology company to enter the home doorbell camera market, and their technology goes a step further than current doorbell camera systems, as it allows one to link their social media accounts to the doorbell camera system, and it also uses facial recognition so it can identify almost anyone who comes to ones door, whether they consent to be recorded by the doorbell camera system or not.

A doorbell company wants to enable its buyers to identify visitors against images from social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

Irvinei announced its doorbell promising a device with integrated fingerprint biometrics and facial recognition access control, an 8-megapixel camera and AI-powered edge lighting.

According to the firm, the product will launch soon on Kickstarter.

In a video, Irvinei suggests homeowners connect their social media accounts to its system in order to match visitors faces. The company has provided few details of its facial recognition software. (Source.)

The Sequel Is Here: Housing Crash 2 Accelerates As Home Sales Drop To The Lowest Level Since 2009 "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog.

If you are trying to sell your home right now, I feel so sorry for you.  Thanks to the Federal Reserve, mortgage rates have risen to very alarming levels, and this has scared millions of potential homebuyers out of the market.

Compared to two years ago, the average potential homebuyer is facing mortgage payments that are close to $1,000 per month higher.   I dont know about you, but I certainly wouldnt want to pay $1,000 more each month for the exact same house.  So most potential homebuyers are staying out of the market until interest rates come down, and that could be a while because officials at the Fed do not plan to reduce rates for the foreseeable future.

On Thursday, we learned that sales of pre-owned homes fell 3.3 percent last month.  Overall, they have now dropped to the lowest level that we have seen during the month of June since 2009

Sales of pre-owned homes dropped 3.3% in June compared with May, running at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 4.16 million units, according to the National Association of Realtors.

Compared with June of last year, sales were 18.9% lower. That is the slowest sales pace for June since 2009.

In June 2009, we were right in the middle of Housing Crash 1.

Now Housing Crash 2 is here.  Over the first six months of this year, only about one percent of all pre-existing homes in the U.S. changed hands

House sales have reached their lowest level in over a decade, with only one percent of properties changing hands in the first half of the year.

Fresh analysis by real estate brokerage RedFin shows that just 14 out of every 1,000 homes across the US were sold in the last six months.

If you are planning to purchase a home, it is going to cost you a lot more than it would have a few years ago.

As I noted above, average homebuyers are now facing potential mortgage payments that are extremely high...

I didnt think the spirits and energies I worked with would care about it, but I do. Language is part of who I am, what I say, the feelings I experience, and there are words that are not completely translated from one to the other.

Dogecoin Becomes 8th-Largest Cryptocurrency After Adding $1 Billion To Market Cap "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Dogecoin continues to cement itself as the largest meme coin by market cap, displaying signs of renewed enthusiasm every so often. This week, the meme-inspired cryptocurrency added over $1 billion to its market cap, making it the 8th-largest crypto. This was a result of Dogecoins surge of over 10%, boosting its market cap to more than $10 billion in a matter of hours.

Dogecoin Pushes Solana To Number 9

Dogecoin has come a long way since its creation as a joke. Fueled by the hype on social media, the meme cryptocurrency has skyrocketed up the rankings to become the 8th-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The price of Dogecoin recently crossed over the $0.070 resistance level to reach $0.076. As a result, more than $1 billion was added to its market cap, surging from $9.67 billion to $10.66 billion.

Although its price has now dropped to $0.074 at the time of writing, Dogecoin still has a $10.35 billion market cap, pushing Solana down to the number 9 spot. On the other hand, Solana is down by 7% in a 7-day timeframe and has lost more than $1.4 billion in market cap.

Whats Pushing The Price?

A big part of Dogecoins past success has come mostly from social media hype and a few influential people and groups hyping it up. A major influence is billionaire Elon Musk. Ever since Musk began tweeting about the meme coin, Dogecoin has gained more attention from crypto investors and his tweets praising the crypto have led to major spikes in interest and price.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price chart from Tradingview.com

The latest spike in the price of Dogecoin seems to have come from rumors of Tesla retaining the cryptocurrency in its payment page source code. Dogecoin is the second cryptocurrency to be accepted by the automobile manufacturer after Tesla added Bitcoin as an option back in 2021. However, Tesla has since discontinued the option to pay with Bitcoin and has deleted the option in the source code of its payment page.

DOGE Price Prediction

Dogecoin (DOGE) is currently trading at $0.07378, ranging between $0.065 and $0.075 for the past week. If the $0.075 resistance is broken through, we could see DOGE rise to as high as its February price of $0.096.

Interestingly, the asset has bounced off the $0.060 support level multiple times since August 2022, making it a significant support for the meme...

A Brief History of Art in the Hudson Valley "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

This years edition of Upstate Art Weekend, spotlighting over 130 art organizations, galleries, museums, residencies, and creative projects in celebration of the Hudson Valleys robust arts community, officially begins today, July 21. While its no secret that upstate New York (which, by the way, any local would argue is definitively not Rockland or Westchester, but I digress) has a longtime reputation for attracting creative thinkers and visual artists, the Hudson Valley regions history of arts and culture stretches far beyond the select participants in this weekends event from Native craft traditions to the influence of Augusta Savage to Kate Millets Art Colony for Women.

Before Dutch colonizers decimated many of the preexisting Native communities of the area and forced remaining survivors west to reservation land, the valley of the Muhheacannituck, also known as the Hudson River, was...

Preparation, characterization, and evaluation of the antitumor effect of kaempferol nanosuspensions. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Drug Deliv Transl Res. 2023 May 6. Epub 2023 May 6. PMID: 37149557 Abstract Title:  Preparation, characterization, and evaluation of the antitumor effect of kaempferol nanosuspensions. Abstract:  Kaempferol (KAE) is a naturally occurring flavonoid compound with antitumor activity. However, the low aqueous solubility, poor chemical stability, and suboptimal bioavailability greatly restrict its clinical application in cancer therapy. To address the aforementioned limitations and augment the antitumor efficacy of KAE, we developed a kaempferol nanosuspensions (KAE-NSps) utilizing D--tocopherol polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (TPGS) as a stabilizing agent, screened the optimal preparation process, and conducted a comprehensive investigation of their fundamental properties as well as the antitumor effects in the study. The findings indicated that the particle size was 186.62.6 nm of the TPGS-KAE-NSps optimized, the shape of which was fusiform under the transmission electron microscope. The 2% (w/v) glucose was used as the cryoprotectant for TPGS-KAE-NSps, whose drug loading content was 70.312.11%, and the solubility was prominently improved compared to KAE. The stability and biocompatibility of TPGS-KAE-NSps were favorable and had a certain sustained release effect. Moreover, TPGS-KAE-NSps clearly seen to be taken in the cytoplasm exhibited a stronger cytotoxicity and suppression of cell migration, along with increased intracellular ROS production and higher apoptosis rates compared to KAE in vitro cell experiments. In addition, TPGS-KAE-NSps had a longer duration of action in mice, significantly improved bioavailability, and showed a stronger inhibition of tumor growth (the tumor inhibition rate of high dose intravenous injection group was 68.91.46%) than KAE with no obvious toxicity in 4T1 tumor-bearing mice. Overall, TPGS-KAE-NSps prepared notably improved the defect and the antitumor effects of KAE, making it a promising nanodrug delivery system for KAE with potential applications as a clinical antitumor drug.

The role of flavonoids in the regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in cancer. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Med Res Rev. 2023 May 5. Epub 2023 May 5. PMID: 37147865 Abstract Title:  The role of flavonoids in the regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in cancer: A review on targeting signaling pathways and metastasis. Abstract:  One of the hallmarks of cancer is metastasis, a process that entails the spread of cancer cells to distant regions in the body, culminating in tumor formation in secondary organs. Importantly, the proinflammatory environment surrounding cancer cells further contributes to cancer cell transformation and extracellular matrix destruction. During metastasis, front-rear polarity and emergence of migratory and invasive features are manifestations of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). A variety of transcription factors (TFs) are implicated in the execution of EMT, the most prominent belonging to the Snail Family Transcriptional Repressor (SNAI) and Zinc Finger E-Box Binding Homeobox (ZEB) families of TFs. These TFs are regulated by interaction with specific microRNAs (miRNAs), as miR34 and miR200. Among the several secondary metabolites produced in plants, flavonoids constitute a major group of bioactive molecules, with several described effects including antioxidant, antiinflammatory, antidiabetic, antiobesogenic, and anticancer effects. This review scrutinizes the modulatory role of flavonoids on the activity of SNAI/ZEB TFs and on their regulatory miRNAs, miR-34, and miR-200. The modulatory role of flavonoids can attenuate mesenchymal features and stimulate epithelial features, thereby inhibiting and reversing EMT. Moreover, this modulation is concomitant with the attenuation of signaling pathways involved in diverse processes as cell proliferation, cell growth, cell cycle progression, apoptosis inhibition, morphogenesis, cell fate, cell migration, cell polarity, and wound healing. The antimetastatic potential of these versatile compounds is emerging and represents an opportunity for the synthesis of more specific and potent agents.

High polyphenol intake may help individuals to reduce systemic inflammation. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  J Health Popul Nutr. 2023 May 5 ;42(1):39. Epub 2023 May 5. PMID: 37147659 Abstract Title:  Inflammatory biomarkers in overweight and obese Iranian women are associated with polyphenol intake. Abstract:  BACKGROUND: The evidence shows that obesity is associated with chronic inflammation in obese subjects. Polyphenols are a complex group of plant secondary metabolites that may play a role in reducing the risk of obesity and obesity-related diseases. Given the scarcity of evidence on the association between inflammatory markers and dietary polyphenols intake in overweight/obese Iranian women, the current study aims to investigate this link.METHOD: The present cross-sectional study was conducted on 391 overweight and obese Iranian women aged 18-48 years (body mass index (BMI)25 kg/m). A 147-item food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) was used to assess dietary intake, as well as anthropometric indices including weight, height, waist circumference (WC), and hip circumference (HC) and biochemistry parameters including triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (Chole), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c), serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT), serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT), galactin-3 (Gal-3), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), transforming growth factor beta (TGF-), interleukin-1 beta (IL_1), plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PA-I), serum leptin concentrations, and C-reactive protein of high sensitivity (hs-CRP) in all participants. The inflammatory markers were assessed using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).RESULT: The findings revealed a significant negative association between flavonoids intake and MCP-1 (P=0.024), lignans intake and MCP-1 (P=0.017), and Gal-3 (P=0.032). These significant associations were observed between other polyphenols intake and IL_1(P=0.014). There was also a significant positive association between other polyphenol intake and TGF-(P=0.008) and between phenolic acid intake and TGF-(P=0.014).CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that a high polyphenol intake may help individuals to reduce systemic inflammation. Further large studies involving participants of different ages and genders are highly warranted.

Nobiletin alleviates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury via ferroptosis in rats with type-2 diabetes mellitus. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

n/a PMID:  Biomed Pharmacother. 2023 Jul ;163:114795. Epub 2023 May 3. PMID: 37146415 Abstract Title:  Nobiletin alleviates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury via ferroptosis in rats with type-2 diabetes mellitus. Abstract:  Susceptibility to myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury in type-2 diabetes (T2DM) remains disputed, although studies have reported that ferroptosis is associated with myocardial IR injury. Nobiletin, a flavonoid isolated from citrus peels, is an antioxidant that possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic activities. However, it remains unknown whether nobiletin has any protective effects on susceptibility to myocardial IR injury during T2DM in rats via ferroptosis. To investigate the effects and underlying mechanisms of nobiletin on myocardial IR injury during T2DM, we induced myocardial IR model in rats at T2DM onset vs mature disease. We also established a high-fat high-glucose (HFHG) and hypoxia-reoxygenation (H/R) model in H9c2 cells to imitate abnormal glycolipid metabolism during T2DM. Myocardial injury, oxidative stress and ferroptosis towards myocardial IR in rats with mature T2DM but not at T2DM onset were increased. These changes were restored under treatment with ferrostain-1 or nobiletin. Both ferrostain-1 and nobiletin decreased the expression of ferroptosis-related proteins including Acyl-CoA synthetase long chain family member 4 (ACSL4) and nuclear receptor coactivator 4 (NCOA4) but not glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) in rats with mature T2DM and cells with HFHG and H/R injury. Nobiletin strengthened the effect of si-ACSL4 on inhibiting ACSL4 expression, and also inhibited the effect of Erastin or oe-ACSL4 on increasing ACSL4 expression. Taken together, our data indicates that ferroptosis involves in susceptibility to myocardial IR injury in rats during T2DM. Nobiletin has therapeutic potential for alleviating myocardial IR injury associated with ACSL4- and NCOA4-related ferroptosis.

Our pharmacokinetics clinical trial demonstrated that naringenin is safe and bioavailable, and our case report showed that naringenin causes weight loss and improves insulin sensitivity. PPARs form heterodimers with retinoic-X-receptors (RXRs) at promoter elements of target genes. Retinoic acid is an RXR ligand metabolized from dietary carotenoids. The carotenoid-carotene reduces adiposity and insulin resistance in clinical trials. Our goal was to examine if carotenoids strengthen the beneficial effects of naringenin on human adipocyte metabolism.METHODS: Human preadipocytes from donors with obesity were differentiated in culture and treated with 8M naringenin + 2M-carotene (NRBC) for seven days. Candidate genes involved in thermogenesis and glucose metabolism were measured as well as hormone-stimulated lipolysis.RESULTS: We found that-carotene acts synergistically with naringenin to boost UCP1 and glucose metabolism genes including GLUT4 and adiponectin, compared to naringenin alone. Protein levels of PPAR, PPARand PPAR-coactivator-1, key modulators of thermogenesis and insulin sensitivity, were also upregulated after treatment with NRBC. Transcriptome sequencing was conducted and the bioinformatics analyses of the data revealed that NRBC induced enzymes for several non-UCP1 pathways for energy expenditure including triglyceride cycling, creatine kinases, and Peptidase M20 Domain Containing 1 (PM20D1). A comprehensive analysis of changes in receptor expression showed that NRBC upregulated eight receptors that have been linked to lipolysis or thermogenesis including the1-adrenergic receptor and the parathyroid hormone receptor. NRBC increased levels of triglyceride lipases and agonist-stimulated lipolysis in adipocytes. We observed that expression of RXR, an isoform of unknown function, was induced ten-fold after treatment with NRBC. We show that RXRis a coactivator bound to the immunoprecipitated PPARprotein complex from white and beige human adipocytes.DISCUSSION: There is a need for obesity treatments that can be administered long-term without side effects. NRBC increases the abundance and lipolytic response of multiple receptors for hormones released after exercise and cold exposure. Lipolysis provides the fuel for thermogenesis, and these observations suggest that NRBC has therapeutic potential.

Naringenin attenuates cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Acta Cir Bras. 2023 ;38:e380823. Epub 2023 May 1. PMID: 37132753 Abstract Title:  Naringenin attenuates cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting oxidative stress and inflammatory response via the activation of SIRT1/FOXO1 signaling pathway in vitro. Abstract:  PURPOSE: To explore the protection of naringenin against oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R)-induced HT22 cell injury, a cell model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury in vitro, focusing on SIRT1/FOXO1 signaling pathway.METHODS: Cytotoxicity, apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, malondialdehyde (MDA) content, 4-hydroxynonenoic acid (4-HNE) level, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and catalase (CAT) activities were measured by commercial kits. Inflammatory cytokines levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The protein expressions were monitored by Western blot analysis.RESULTS: Naringenin significantly ameliorated OGD/R-induced cytotoxicity and apoptosis in HT22 cells. Meanwhile, naringenin promoted SIRT1 and FOXO1 protein expressions in OGD/R-subjected HT22 cells. In addition, naringenin attenuated OGD/R-induced cytotoxicity, apoptosis, oxidative stress (the increased ROS, MDA and 4-HNE levels, and the decreased SOD, GSH-Px and CAT activities) and inflammatory response (the increased tumor necrosis factor-, interleukin [IL]-1, and IL-6 levels and the decreased IL-10 level), which were blocked by the inhibition of the SIRT1/FOXO1 signaling pathway induced by SIRT1-siRNA transfection.CONCLUSIONS: Naringenin protected HT22 cells against OGD/R injury depending on its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities via promoting the SIRT1/FOXO1 signaling pathway.

Naringenin as a promising candidate against COVID-19. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  J Mol Struct. 2023 Sep 5 ;1287:135642. Epub 2023 Apr 26. PMID: 37131962 Abstract Title:  Targeting the vital non-structural proteins (NSP12, NSP7, NSP8 and NSP3) from SARS-CoV-2 and inhibition of RNA polymerase by natural bioactive compound naringenin as a promising drug candidate against COVID-19. Abstract:  The prevalence of SARS-CoV-2-induced respiratory infections is now a major challenge worldwide. There is currently no specific antiviral drug to prevent or treat this disease. Infection with COVID-19 seriously needs to find effective therapeutic agents. In the present study, naringenin, as a potential inhibitor candidate for RNA Polymerase SARS-CoV-2 was compared with remdesivir (FDA-approved drug) and GS-441,524 (Derivative of the drug remdesivir) by screening with wild-type and mutant SARS-CoV-2 NSP12 (NSP7-NSP8) and NSP3 interfaces, then complexes were simulated by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to gain their stabilities. The docking results displayedscores of -3.45 kcal/mol and -4.32 kcal/mol against NSP12 and NSP3, respectively. Our results showed that naringenin hadG values more negative than theG values of Remdesivir (RDV) and GS-441,524. Hence, naringenin was considered to be a potential inhibitor. Also, the number of hydrogen bonds of naringenin with NSP3 and later NSP12 are more than Remdesivir and its derivative. In this research, Mean root mean square deviation (RMSD) values of NSP3 and NSP12with naringenin ligand (5.551.58 nm to 3.450.56 nm and 0.2380.01 to 0.2420.021 nm, respectively showed stability in the presence of ligand. The root mean square fluctuations (RMSF) values of NSP3 and NSP12 amino acid units in the presence of naringenin in were 1.5  0.31 nm and 0.1180.058, respectively. Pharmacokinetic properties and prediction of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET) properties of naringenin and RDV showed thatthese two compounds had no potential cytotoxicity.

Naringenin blocks hepatic cadmium accumulation and suppresses cadmium-induced hepatotoxicity. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Drug Chem Toxicol. 2023 Apr 19:1-9. Epub 2023 Apr 19. PMID: 37073537 Abstract Title:  Naringenin blocks hepatic cadmium accumulation and suppresses cadmium-induced hepatotoxicity via amelioration of oxidative inflammatory signaling and apoptosis in rats. Abstract:  Liver is one of the targets of cadmium (Cd) bioaccumulation for hepatic damage and pathologies via oxidative inflammation and apoptosis. The current study explored whether the citrus flavonoid naringenin (NAR) could prevent hepatic accumulation of Cd and Cd hepatotoxicity in a rat model. Rats in group 1 received normal saline; group 2 received NAR (50mg/kg body weight); group 3 received CdCl(5mg/kg body weight); group 4 received NAR+CdCl, for four consecutive weeks. Assays related to markers of oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis were carried out using liver homogenate. Blood and liver sample analyses revealed significant elevation of blood and hepatic Cd levels coupled with prominent increases in alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities, whereas the albumin and total protein levels were decreased considerably. Hepatic superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxide (GPx) activities diminished significantly compared to control followed by marked increases in malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, and dysregulation in caspase and cytokine (TNF-, IL-6, IL-4, IL-10) levels. However, it was found that in the rats administered NAR+Cd, the levels of Cd, hepatic enzymes, MDA, TNF-, IL-6, and caspases-3/-9 were prominently reduced compared to the Cd group. The hepatic SOD, CAT, GPx, IL-4, IL-10, albumin, and total protein were markedly elevated along with alleviated hepatic histopathological abrasions. Taken together therefore, NAR is a potential flavonoid for blocking hepatic Cd bioaccumulation and consequent inhibition of Cd-induced oxidative inflammation and apoptotic effects on the liver of rats.

Naringenin facilitates M2 macrophage polarization after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Environ Toxicol. 2023 Jun ;38(6):1405-1419. Epub 2023 Mar 29. PMID: 36988289 Abstract Title:  Naringenin facilitates M2 macrophage polarization after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion by promoting nuclear translocation of transcription factor EB and inhibiting the NLRP3 inflammasome pathway. Abstract:  Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI) remains an unsolved puzzle in medical circles. Naringenin (NAR) is a flavonoid with cardioprotective potential. The purpose of this article was to discuss the protective mechanism of NAR in MIRI by regulating macrophage polarization. The MIRI mouse model was established and perfused with NAR before surgery. In the in vitro experiment, macrophages RAW264.7 were treated with lipopolysaccharide to induce M1 polarization after pretreatment with NAR. Rescue experiments were carried out to validate the functions of transcription factor EB (TFEB), the NLR pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, and autophagy in macrophage polarization. NAR reduced histopathological injury and infarction of myocardial tissues in MIRI mice, inhibited M1 polarization and promoted M2 polarization of macrophages, diminished levels of pro-inflammatory factors, and augmented levels of anti-inflammatory factors. NAR facilitated TFEB nuclear translocation and inhibited the NLRP3 inflammasome pathway. Silencing TFEB or Nigericin partly nullified the effect of NAR on macrophage polarization. NAR increased autophagosome formation, autophagy flux, and autophagy level. Autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine partly invalidated the inhibition of NAR on the NLRP3 inflammasome pathway. In animal experiments, NAR protected MIRI mice through the TFEB-autophagy-NLRP3 inflammasome pathway. Collectively, NAR inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome activation and facilitated M2 macrophage polarization by stimulating TFEB nuclear translocation, thus protecting against MIRI.

Nobiletin ameliorates non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  J Agric Food Chem. 2023 May 17 ;71(19):7312-7323. Epub 2023 May 4. PMID: 37139957 Abstract Title:  Nobiletin Ameliorates Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease by Regulating Gut Microbiota and Myristoleic Acid Metabolism. Abstract:  Disturbance of the gut microbiota plays a critical role in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Increasing evidence supports that natural products may serve as prebiotics to regulate the gut microbiota in the treatment of NAFLD. In the present study, the effect of nobiletin, a naturally occurring polymethoxyflavone, on NAFLD was evaluated, and metabolomics, 16S rRNA gene sequencing, and transcriptomics analysis were performed to determine the underlying mechanism of nobiletin, and the key bacteria and metabolites screened were confirmed by in vivo experiment. Nobiletin treatment could significantly reduce lipid accumulation in high-fat/high-sucrose diet-fed mice. 16S rRNA analysis demonstrated that nobiletin could reverse the dysbiosis of gut microbiota in NAFLD mice and nobiletin could regulate myristoleic acid metabolism, as revealed by untargeted metabolomics analysis. Treatment with the bacteria,, or the metabolite myristoleic acid displayed a protective effect on liver lipid accumulation under metabolic stress. These results indicated that nobiletin might target gut microbiota and myristoleic acid metabolism to ameliorate NAFLD.

The Great Global Warming Swindle Full Documentary HD "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

https://rumble.com/embed/v2n2iww/?pub=1ouhku

The Great Global Warming Swindle caused controversy in the UK when it premiered March 8, 2007 on British Channel 4. A documentary, by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the virtually unchallenged consensus that global warming is man-made. A statement from the makers of this film asserts that the scientific theory of anthropogenic global warming could very well be "the biggest scam of modern times."

According to Martin Durkin the chief cause of climate change is not human activity but changes in radiation from the sun. Some have called The Great Global Warming Swindle the definitive retort to Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. Using a comprehensive range of evidence it's claimed that warming over the past 300 years represents a natural recovery from a 'little ice age'.

According to the program humans do have an effect on climate but it's infinitesimally small compared with the vast natural forces which are constantly pushing global temperatures this way and that. From melting glaciers and rising sea levels, The Great Global Warming Swindle debunks the myths, and exposes what may well prove to be the darkest chapter in the history of mankind.

According to a group of leading scientists brought together by documentary maker Martin Durkin everything you've ever been told about global warming is probably untrue. Just as we've begun to take it for granted that climate change is a man-made phenomenon, Durkin's documentary slays the whole premise of global warming.

"Global warming has become a story of huge political significance; environmental activists using scare tactics to further their cause; scientists adding credence to secure billions of dollars in research money; politicians...

Nobiletin ameliorates hepatic steatosis through regulation of lipid alternation. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  J Nutr Biochem. 2023 Aug ;118:109353. Epub 2023 Apr 27. PMID: 37116815 Abstract Title:  A lipidomic study: Nobiletin ameliorates hepatic steatosis through regulation of lipid alternation. Abstract:  Hepatic lipidome has been given emphasis for years since hepatic steatosis is the most remarkable character of nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases, an increasingly serious health issue worldwide. Nobiletin (NOB), one of the citrus flavonoids, exerted outstanding effect on lipid metabolism disorder. However, the underlying mechanism of NOB exerting effect on hepatic lipid alternation remains unclear. In this study, the animal model was built by feeding APOEmice with high fat diet (HFD). The results of Oil Red O-stained liver section and the biochemical assay of lipid parameters confirmed the protective effect of NOB on hepatic steatosis and global lipid metabolism disorder in APOEmice. The hepatic lipidomic study revealed a total of 958 lipids significantly altered by HFD and a total of 86, 116, 212 lipid metabolites changed by L-NOB (50 mg/kg/d NOB), M-NOB (100 mg/kg/d NOB) and H-NOB (200 mg/kg/d NOB) respectively. In the further screening analysis, an amount of 60 lipids were identified as the potential lipid markers of NOB treatment, most of which belonged to glycerophospholipids lipid categories and exhibited obvious correlation with each other and the lipid parameters related to hepatic steatosis. Taken together, our data demonstrated that glycerophospholipids metabolism played an indispensable role in the progression of hepatic steatosis and the protective effect of NOB. Besides, the modulation towards genes involved in lipid synthesis was observed after NOB administration in this study. These finding illustrated the antihepatic steatosis effect of NOB based on altering hepatic lipidome, particularly the glycerophospholipids metabolism, and provided a new insight in the pathogenesis of hepatic steatosis.

Nobiletin improves D-galactose-induced aging mice skeletal muscle atrophy. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Nutrients. 2023 Apr 7 ;15(8). Epub 2023 Apr 7. PMID: 37111020 Abstract Title:  Nobiletin Improves D-Galactose-Induced Aging Mice Skeletal Muscle Atrophy by Regulating Protein Homeostasis. Abstract:  Sarcopenia, a decrease in skeletal muscle mass and function caused by aging, impairs mobility, raises the risk of fractures, diabetes, and other illnesses, and severely affects a senior's quality of life. Nobiletin (Nob), polymethoxyl flavonoid, has various biological effects, such as anti-diabetic, anti-atherogenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, and anti-tumor properties. In this investigation, we hypothesized that Nob potentially regulates protein homeostasis to prevent and treat sarcopenia. To investigate whether Nob could block skeletal muscle atrophy and elucidate its underlying molecular mechanism, we used the D-galactose-induced (D-gal-induced) C57BL/6J mice for 10 weeks to establish a skeletal muscle atrophy model. The findings demonstrated that Nob increased body weight, hindlimb muscle mass, lean mass and improved the function of skeletal muscle in D-gal-induced aging mice. Nob improved myofiber sizes and increased skeletal muscle main proteins composition in D-gal-induced aging mice. Notably, Nob activated mTOR/Akt signaling to increase protein synthesis and inhibited FOXO3a-MAFbx/MuRF1 pathway and inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing protein degradation in D-gal-induced aging mice. In conclusion, Nob attenuated D-gal-induced skeletal muscle atrophy. It is a promising candidate for preventing and treating age-associated atrophy of skeletal muscles.
