XRP Kicks Out BNB To Become 4th-Largest Crypto After 65% Rally "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

XRP, the token behind the Ripple payment network, has been on an absolute monster rally in the last day. The token has seen a 65% price surge that propelled it into the number 4 spot in the crypto rankings, pushing BNB down to 5th place, even though BNB on the other hand, is also up by 9% in the past week.

XRP Overtakes BNB

XRP recently overtook BNB after reaching a yearly high of $0.81, giving the cryptocurrency a market cap of $41 billion. The huge price spike can be attributed to investors jumping on the bandwagon with fear of missing out on XRP after the big news regarding its victory over the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The court determined on June 13 that the sale of XRP to regular investors does not constitute the sale of an unregistered security. As such, United States District Judge Analisa Torres ruled in partial favor of Ripple, saying that XRP sales on public cryptocurrency exchanges were not offers of securities under the law.

However, the judge remarked that Ripples direct sale of XRP to institutional investors in the amount of approximately $700 million violated federal legislation regarding the sale of securities.

This catapulted XRPs price from $0.478 to $0.7885 in just under a day. With its current market cap, this means XRP is now the third-largest native cryptocurrency behind Bitcoin and Ethereum when the USDT stablecoin is removed.

24-Hour Trading Volume Spikes 1700%+

According to data from Coinmarketcap, XRPs 24-hour trading volume has spiked a whopping 1,758.13% to over $13.49 billion. Trading volumes have surged on various exchanges, where Upbit, the South Korean-based crypto exchange, had over $2.7 billion in 24-hour trading volume. Binance also saw over $2.3 billion in trading volume as investors scurried to buy XRP.

Coinglass data shows more than $35 million short position trades on XRP have been liquidated in the past 24 hours. Most of these are from Bybit, OKX, and Binance, with $21 million, $14 million, and $14 million in short position liquidations, respectively.

Of course, fast price rises often end in pullbacks as XRP remains a volatile digital asset. But its recent breakout shows its still an altcoin to watch, with the potential for even bigger gains if more investors continue to FOMO. However, XRPs potential for long-term growth continues to be supported by Ripple Labs real-world value as a payments network.

At the time of writing, XRP is stil...

Fir0002, Giraffe in Melbourne Zoo, GFDL 1.2, via Wikimedia Commons.

Pter Esterhzy once wrote that Pter Zilahy is the white raven of Hungarian literature who can observe the world each time as if for the first time, always fresh and original. While its labeled a novel, The Last Window-Giraffe is essentially uncategorizable, a hippogriff of a creation fashioned from fragments of history, autobiography, and wild invention. How such a wealth of elementsfrom childhood memories to political atrocities to the poignant evocation of the correspondence between sexual awakening and the deaths of dictatorscould be gathered and spun into such a coherent narrative is a kind of aesthetic miracle.

Zilahy uses the Hungarian alphabet to present a wonderful mix of historical facts, poetry, and visual images, an approach inspired by the time he spent in Belgrade in 1996, when citizens took to the streets to protest Slobodan Miloevis electoral fraud. The Last Window-Giraffe evokes many memories of my own past in the former Yugoslavia. Theres a wizardry in Zilahys ability to shrink an entire historical epoch to human scale while at the same time elevating ordinary experience to mythic significance. This is intellectual alchemy of the highest order, executed with wit and compassion. Zilahy can murder a sacred cow and canonize an unknown victim of totalitarianism in a single sentence.

UKs Largest Clean Air Mural Is Completed After 3 Weeks "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

UKs Largest Clean Air Mural Is Completed After 3 Weeks

The Bulb by Nerone in Southampton

French street artist Nerone has created the UK's largest clean-air mural in Southampton. Painted on The Bulb, a new hub for the STEM community, the piece shows a woman covered in colorful flowers. And best of all, the nearly 11,000-square-foot mural is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly.

To create his masterpiece, Nerone used Graphenstone CO2-absorbing paint. The lime-based paint naturally absorbs CO2 as it cures, and Nerone estimates that it will pull about 145 pounds of carbon dioxide from the air annually. That's the equivalent of about three mature trees.

In terms of the subject matter, the piece is a continuation of other portraits Nerone has painted. It features his fiance Frankie, who has also appeared in his murals in South Korea, Colombia, France, and Turkey. This is the second time she's appeared in a mural in the UK, as Nerone also used her as his muse for a mural in London.

Covered in colorful flowers, she brightens up the environment and transforms this concrete office building into a joyful site. It was important for Nerone to add some color to the space, as the building is clearly visible from nearby Southampton station.

It took 17 days for the French artist and a team from Lawless Studios to complete the piece. The community was also highly involved, thanks to a series of community events and workshops that ran concurrently. And while it was hard work, Nerone is pleased with the outcome.

It would be amazing that people realize we can do beautiful things, Nerone says, bringing a positive message while we preserve and improve our environment.

Editorial: the decline of editorial cartoons (and how to stop it) "IndyWatch Feed Comics"

Rats_leaving_a_sinking_ship__fabio_magnasciuttiCartoon by Fabio Magnasciutti

It's been a while since the last editorial (time is a precious commodity these days), but this week I felt the need to write one. The reason: devastating news for editorial cartooning from across the pond as three Pulitzer-winning cartoonists let go in one shocking day. Jack Ohman of the Sacramento Bee, Joel Pett of the Lexington Herald-Leader and Kevin Siers of the Charlotte Observer were all let go as the parent company of these newspapers, McClatchy, has decided it will no longer run daily opinion cartoons.

You can read all the details in this article in the Washington Post. Ohman called the event 'another brick in the wall', and I can't help but agree. The last few years have seen many troubling developments that all point in just one direction: the demise of political cartooning. A short recap:

-In 2019 the (international edition of the) New York Times decided to stop running political cartoons.

In 2021, no Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartoons was given.

-In 222, the Pulitzer Prize decided to change the name of the category Editorial cartoons to Illustrated Reporting and Commentary.

-Also in 2022, Gannett , a large US newspaper company with 250 titles decided that the time for a traditional editorial page (the home of the political cartoon) has come and gone

-In 2023, World Press cartoon announced it wasn't able to organize the prize, due to lack of funding.

This list probably isn't complete, but it already paints a dire picture for the profession. And although it's mostly centers on the US, I fear American cartoonists might be at the forefront of developments that will hit us all. I firmly believe public appetite for...

People With Horrible Kids Get Real About What They Wish Theyd Done Differently While Raising Them "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

ARRaisingKidsMistakes People With Horrible Kids Get Real About What They Wish Theyd Done Differently While Raising Them

Its really, REALLY gotta suck to raise a child, do your best, and have them turn out to be, well, a sh**ty person.

But you hear about it all the time, unfortunately.

And these parents got real about what theyd done differently when they were raising their kids.

Take a look at what they had to say.

Cant win em all.

You dont have to win every power struggle.

I think Ive learned a lot from having 4 very different kids, and I think too many parents 1. Think the same strategies work for all kids (ie, rule-consequence-behavior falls in line, rinse and repeat) and 2. Focus on the behavior rather than the cause.

If you have a kid who doesnt respond to your parenting style/philosophy, you should rethink your approach. Its not all the kids fault.

Some kids will burn their lives to the ground to make a point. I have one like that. For too long, it was a vicious cycle of

kid acts out

I punish

kid is angry, acts out more

I punish harder

kid is angrier, acts out even more

I punish even harder

and on and on and on and on. Something needs to break the cycle.

For instance, if your kid is challenging your authority, its usually a bid for more independence. Theyre trying to be more mature, and they want your adult respect....

Crypto Liquidations Cross $300 Million Amid Massive Market Recovery "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The last 24 hours have been more than interesting for crypto investors across the globe. Thursday, July 13, saw one of the most important lawsuits in the history of the industry come to an end, and the ruling in favor of Ripple triggered a massive rally. As digital assets across the space recorded double-digit gains, liquidation volumes climbed quickly, now clocking over $300 million.

Crypto Short Traders Take Big Losses

The high volumes of crypto liquidations in the market so far have been a result of price recovery. As such, the vast majority of traders who have been losing money have been short traders, that is, traders who were betting on prices falling rather than recovering.

According to data from Coinglass, out of the over $300 million in liquidations, short traders made up for a total of $219 million. On the flip side, the volume from long traders was much lower, coming in at only $82.74 million for the same 24-hour period. This means that short traders made up 70.33% of all liquidations during this time, as long traders made the most money.

Furthermore, over 86,000 traders saw their positions liquidated on the last day, but the single largest liquidation happened on the Bitmex exchange. This position was worth $2.82 million at the time of liquidation, taking place across the XRPUSD pair on the exchange.

Crypto liquidations

As expected, Bitcoin led the liquidation volumes during this time, but interestingly, Ethereum was not the second-highest volume as it usually is. That title was claimed by XRP traders this time around with a total of $62.17 million liquidated in 24 hours.

Will The Liquidations Continue?

Artist Recreates 18th-Century Romantic Lovers Eyes Tradition by Painting Eyes on Vintage Plates

Lover's Eye Paintings on Plates by Susannah Carson

In the late 1700s, a romantic trend swept through wealthy families in England, Europe, and even America. Called lover's eyes, or eye miniatures, these small paintings were commissioned to depict the eye or eyes of spouses, loved ones, and children. While during the Georgian period (1700s to early 1800s) they were worn as accessories like bracelets and pendants, contemporary artist Susannah Carson is reimagining this art form. She adds delicate paintings of eyes and faces to vintage plates.

Each of these depictions is rendered in a style that evokes the original tradition. Human gazes appear in the center of these dishes, staring at the viewer calmly and directly. The form of the dish even acts as a frame, bordering Carson's handiwork with decorative patterns. This combination of materials enhances the nostalgia of these paintings, making them all the more precious to look at and display.

Im interested in painting as not just an optical illusion, but as an illusion of lifeof otherness, of richness, of engagement, of that delicate connection we have with other beings which allows us to feel, for a moment, not so alone, she says. With compositions highlighting the gaze, these subjects tell us their stories with a single look and ask for us to tell them our stories in return, thereby creatingunlike the alienation of much modern arta welcoming intimacy.

You can purchase available art via Carson's website and keep up to date with the artist's latest work by following her on Instagram.

Polygon Reclaims 10th Position As MATIC Surges Nearly 30% In One Week "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The crypto market continues to exhibit dynamic shifts as Polygons native token, MATIC, outpaces Litecoin (LTC) in the global rankings to secure the 10th spot. This move comes after MATIC experienced a surge of nearly 30% over the past week.

Resurgence Amid Crypto Rally

The general upswing in the crypto market in the past week has presented opportunities for numerous cryptocurrencies to make significant strides. Polygon (MATIC), for one, has capitalized on this trend, breaking through multiple resistance levels to claim the 10th position in the global crypto market, thereby leaving Litecoin (LTC) trailing behind.

The assets surge, which saw MATIC price climbing from a low of $0.67 last Friday to a high of $0.88 yesterday before retracting to $0.84 at the time of writing, marks a nearly 30% increase in the past 7 days.

Polygon (MATIC) price chart on TradingView

The surge also signals MATICs resilience, given that it comes just a month after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) classified it as a security, triggering a drastic dip in its value. This move by the SEC made MATIC dwell in a bloodbath for a week to trade below the $0.6 mark.

MATIC Road To Recovery

MATICs recovery, however, has been somewhat fascinating. Over the past 24 hours, MATIC has rallied by nearly 10%, exhibiting a strong upward trajectory. Interestingly, this rally mirrors the movements of several notable altcoins in the market, indicating a wider market recovery trend.

Despite the initial setback following the SECs classification, MATIC has demonstrated a comeback. Its rebound not only highlights the resilience of the asset but also underscores its growing popularity among investors, which can be attributed to the increasing interest in the Polygon platform, known for its scalability solutions for Ethereum transactions.

MATIC has witnessed a dramatic rise in its market capitalization over the past week, marking a nearly $2 billion increase. The digital asset, starting from a valuation of $6.2 billion last F...

Sisterhood and Maternal Bonds Surface in Sonia Alins Ethereal Illustrations of Tranquil Swimmers "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

An illustration of a mother and her two children in the water.

Amor maternal. All images Sophie Alins, shared with permission

In Greek mythology, the Oceanid nymphs are the daughters of Oceanus, the great world-encompassing river, and a sea goddess named Tethys. Innumerable and present in every aquatic environment, the poet Hesiod described how they serve the earth and the deep waters, personifying springs and the sources of marine expanses. For illustrator Sonia Alins, the stories of the Oceanids provide a well of inspiration. Im exploring, in a poetic and allegoric way, concepts such as motherhood and sisterhood, she tells Colossal. Her dreamy depictions of women and children floating serenely in water (previously) evoke maternal care and emotional connection.

Alins ongoing series Dones dAigua, which translates to women of water, focuses on glowing, full-figured figures who float, bob, and dive unselfconsciously in seemingly infinite expanses of blue rendered in ink, acrylic, and watercolor. Despite the apparent isolation from surrounding land or activity, the figures express deep bonds and a sense of togetherness, security, and tranquility. Shiba Inu (SHIB) Shows Strength With 5% Rally, Reversal Confirmed? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The Shiba Inu price has risen over 5% in the last 24 hours amid the market-wide hype surrounding Ripples partial victory in its legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). But SHIB investors should still be cautious: While the SHIB price shows a clear uptrend of 23% over the last 30 days, a complete confirmation of a trend reversal is still pending.

Shiba Inu Price Analysis

Technically, the Shiba Inu price remains in bearish territory for several reasons. As explained in previous analyses, the Shib price entered a downtrend channel in early February this year. The breakout from the bearish chart pattern succeeded six days ago, however, there is still a possibility that it is a fakeout.

Shibs trading volume was rather below average during and after the breakout. Only yesterday there was a noticeable increase. Within the last few hours, trading volume rose to $232 million, 200% higher than the previous day. In the best case, the volume should remain high to avoid a fakeout.

More of a bearish argument is that yesterdays SHIB rally stopped at $0.00000813. Thus, the price could not break above resistance at $0.00000816, nor could it set a new local high on the 4-hour chart.

A look at the 1-day chart also shows that the SHIB price continues to trade below the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level at $0.00000832. The following days could become crucial to confirm a sustainable trend change or a fakeout.

The battle between bulls and bears is still in full swing. The bull side would ideally like to break out above the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level with a high trading volume. This could be a first confirmation for a sustainable trend change.

In this case, the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level at $0.00000977 could come into focus. Close to it is also the long-term bull boundary line, the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $0.00000961. If SHIB also exceeds this level, one can finally speak of a trend reversal. Before that, however, the current gains stand on shaky legs.

Protection Against The Financial System Requires More Than A Spot Bitcoin ETF "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by David Waugh, a business development and communications specialist at bitcoin investing platform Coinbits.

A few weeks ago, BlackRock and other major financial firms filed for permission to offer spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Though the U.S. Securities And Exchange Commission(SEC) stated that these initial filings were inadequate, forcing the firms to refile, many investors believe that they will eventually be approved, creating the first-such products on the market. These new financial instruments would allow institutional and retail investors to access exposure to bitcoin's price without having to purchase actual bitcoin.

On the surface, this would be a major win for Bitcoin adoption because it will become easier for financial advisors, previously hesitant or unable to enter this market, to assist clients with a form of bitcoin allocation.

Banks and other traditional financial players will also use the spot ETF to increase their exposures, which may increase bitcoin's exchange rate with the dollar. For families and individuals, however, shares of a bitcoin product through spot ETFs are not a substitute for holding bitcoin in self custody.

Ultimately, Bitcoin ETF products still exist within the traditional financial system and do not offer complete protection from market, government or compliance risk. As such, market forces can affect the ETF issuers, and governments can enact and enforce regulations by decree that devalue or debase the consumer's assets.

In contrast, holding real bitcoin allows individuals to access a digital bearer asset outside of control of governments and traditional financial institutions. Though it introduces new risks associated with private key management, every diversified portfolio should have a real bitcoin allocation, regardless of any additional allocation to a bitcoin ETF.

As investors seek to diversify to spread risk and protect themselves from geopolitical and market shocks, there is no substitute for bitcoin in self custody.

Stellar (XLM) Basks In XRP Euphoria, Soars 52% In One Day "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The price of Stellar (XLM) has experienced a similar meteoric rise to the XRP token in the last 24 hours. This rise was triggered by news that Ripple, the company behind XRP, had won its long-running case against the US Securities and Exchange Commission SEC.

The SECs case that XRP is a security was the focus of the court trial. To the delight of the crypto community, Judge Annalisa Torres of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled in Ripples favor, declaring the XRP token not to be a security.

Stellar Looks To Enter The Top 20 Crypto Ranking

The altcoin market had been dominated by bearish pressure in recent weeks due partly to the SECs declaration of tokens tied to Solana, Polygon, and Cardano as securities. This declaration formed the foundation of the regulators case against prominent crypto exchanges Coinbase and Binance.

That said, the market was jolted back to life yesterday following the announcement of Ripples court victory, with most tokens basking in green. Stellar also reacted swiftly to positive market sentiment, going on an almost 90% price rally within a few hours.

The tokens price has since steadied, with Stellar currently trading with a 52.4 % gain. With this, XLMs price rise places it amongst the top daily gainers in the cryptocurrency market today.

As of this writing, XLM is valued at $0.147189, with a 3.9% price decrease in the past hour. The token has a 24-hour trading volume of over $1.26 billion, representing a 3,386% surge in the past day.

According to CoinGecko data, the Stellar token is closing in on a spot in the top 20 largest cryptocurrencies, with a market cap of nearly $4 billion.

Is $0.8 Within Reach For XLM?

A look at the broader market shows that XLM has been underwhelming in recent days. Although the token scored some significant gains last month, it appears to have also been affected by the dour market conditions in July.

Following the positive price movement of yesterday, investors are hoping to see the XLM price visit the $0.8 again. However, after hitting its all-time high of $0.875563 in 2018, the coin has only ever reached the $0.8 level once.

Is She Wrong for Making Her Son Shower Before He Comes to Her House? People Responded. "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITAPeanutAllergies Is She Wrong for Making Her Son Shower Before He Comes to Her House? People Responded.

Safety first!

That seems to be the foremost thing on this moms mind and for some reason, shes catching some serious flack for it.

Is she acting like an a**hole?

Check out her story and see what you think.

AITA for making my son shower before he comes to my house because of his sisters peanut allergy, and not letting him come over when he didnt?

I have a son (14M) with my ex-husband, as well as a daughter (12F) with my current partner. My daughter has one of the most severe peanut allergies her doctors have ever seen.

To give you an idea, someone touching a peanut, touching someone else, that person touching a surface, and then my daughter touching that surface would cause a reaction, and has before.

Because of this we have to take precautions beyond whats normal for a peanut allergy. We cant eat out, we deep clean the house frequently, and any guests have to wash their hands when they come over and avoid touching stuff. Its a lot and I can understand my son being frustrated, but the issue at hand has to do with his fathers house.

My son also has two young half-brothers at his fathers house, who unsurprisingly eat a lot of peanut butter and the like. Obviously we cant police what another house does, but it does mean my son has to take additional measures to keep his sister safe.

Chiefly, he has to shower imme...

Cardano Bulls Reclaim Control As ADA Rallies 28% "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Following Ripple (XRP)s victory in court yesterday, there is a general bullish wave currently sweeping across the crypto market. According to data from CoinMarketCap, Cardano (ADA) has gained by 28.43% in the last 24 hours, with several other altcoins also posting double digits gains.

Cardano (ADA) Price Action And Analysis

Prior to its price boost yesterday, ADA had shown little to no movement all week, hovering around the $0.29 price mark. However, the tokens price spiked yesterday afternoon, reaching as high as $0.37 for the first time since early June.

Looking at its broader performance, Cardano has had a mixed-price action since the start of 2023. The altcoin began the year in style, gaining over 70% to trade at $0.41 as of February 16.

This price surge was, however,  followed by a bearish trend bringing the tokens price as low as $0.30 on March 10. Thereafter, ADA would resume its bullish trajectory, rising to its highest price so far in 2023 at $0.45 on April 16.

Over the next two months, Cardanos price slumped once again before showing sideways movement over the last three weeks.

Analyzing its 4-Hour Chart, ADA has encountered resistance at the $0.38 price zone and appears to be experiencing a recorrection. However, a rise in selling pressure could result in the token trading as low as $0.28, which marks its imminent support level.

On the other hand, if the bulls retake control and manage to push past the $0.38 resistance price level, ADA is likely to rise to $0.42, which represents the next major resistance level.

At the time of writing, ADA is trading at $0.35 with a 2.30% loss in the last hour. The tokens trading volume is up by a stunning 808.08% and is valued at $1.4 billion. With a market cap of $12.3 billion, Cardano is ranked as the 7th biggest cryptocurrency in the world.

Ripples Victory Sparks Altcoin Rally

Yesterday afternoon,  U.S. Judge Analisa Torres ruled that XRP is not a security in the ongoing Ripple vs. SEC case. On the emergence of this news, the crypto market experienced a price boost, with mainly altcoins notching significant gains.

Asides from Cardano (ADA), coins such as Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Polygon (MATIC), are also on the rise, recording profits at 31.98%, 14.50%, and 17.76%, respectively, in the last 24 hours.

The First Known Photograph of People Having a Beer (1843) "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

It should go without saying that one should drink responsibly, for reasons pertaining to life and limb as well as reputation. The ubiquity of still and video cameras means potentially embarrassing moments can end up on millions of screens in an instant, copied, downloaded, and saved for posterity. Not so during the infancy of photography, when it was a painstaking process with minutes-long exposure times and arcane chemical development methods. Photographing people generally meant keeping them as still as possible for several minutes, a requirement that rendered candid shots next to impossible.

We know the results of these early photographic portraiture from many a famous Daguerreotype, named for its French inventor, Louis-Jacques-Mand Daguerre. At the same time, during the 1830s and 40s, another process gained popularity in England, called the Calotypeor Talbotype, for its inventor William Henry Fox Talbot. Upon hearing of the advent of the Daguerreotype in 1839, writes Linz Welch at the United Photographic Artists Gallery site, Talbot felt moved to action to fully refine the process that he had begun work on. He was able to shorten his exposure times greatly and started using a similar form of camera for exposure on to his prepared paper negatives.

Optimism (OP), alongside major cryptocurrencies, has witnessed a remarkable surge in value amidst a wave of positive momentum sweeping through the broader crypto market.

The recent victory of Ripple against the US Securities and Exchange Commission has sparked a sea of green, with investors expressing renewed confidence in the industry.

In this flourishing environment, Optimism Networks OP coin stands tall, exhibiting an impressive surge of nearly 15% in the past seven days.

But can the Optimism Network sustain its upward trajectory in the face of regulatory challenges?

OP Bulls Target $1.3 Resistance Level

In the ever-changing landscape of the cryptocurrency market, the current price of OP coin on CoinGecko hits $1.38, reflecting a noteworthy rally of 14.2% over the past 24 hours. Additionally, within the last seven days, the coin has experienced an impressive surge of 14.7%.

Since the first week of July, OP has been trading below the $1.3 mark. However, an OP price report notes that bullish investors are eyeing this crucial threshold to flip the H2 structure (see chart below) into a bullish trend.

The $1.3 resistance level has posed a challenge for the OP coins value, preventing it from surpassing this critical point. Bulls in the market are striving to overcome this hurdle, which would signal a potentially bullish trend for the coin.

Why Is Bitcoin Price Up Today? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The Bitcoin price tagged a new yearly high yesterday at $31,840, leaving market participants wondering about the driving forces behind this bullish momentum.

The Power of Economic Indicators

One of the crucial factors contributing to Bitcoins upward trajectory was the release of the United States Producer Price Index (PPI) data. The latest figures revealed a significant slowdown in inflation, with PPI YoY dropping to 0.1% in June, surpassing expectations and marking the smallest pace since August 2020. Notably, the Core PPI YoY came in at 2.4%, slightly below the estimated 2.6%, reinforcing the notion of a diminishing inflationary environment.

This decrease in PPI is seen as a positive sign for the Consumer Price Index (CPI), providing hope for a more stable economic landscape. Macro researcher Mortensen Bach emphasized the significance of the PPIs impact, stating, PPI always leads CPI. Inflation is no longer a thing and input prices clearly indicate that! Deflation remains the primary risk going forward. This is what happens when you have a Federal Reserve who is blindly focused on backward-looking data!

PPI always leads CPI

Echoing these sentiments, macro analyst Ted added, PPI inflation leads CPI by a few months and todays PPI numbers have YoY running at +0.24%. Almost in deflation! Fed pivot anyone?

Also worth noting is that, May PPI inflation was revised lower from 1.1% to 0.9%. May Core PPI inflation was revised lower from 2.8% to 2.6%. The drop and revision lower in Core PPI is what the US Federal Reserve wants to see.

Inverse Correlation With The DXY

Another pivotal factor driving Bitcoins surge is the recent drop in the US Dollar Index (DXY) below 100.00, a level not seen in 15 months. This development has sparked renewed interest in risk assets like Bitcoin as a hedge against a weaken...

But you have to make up your own mind!

Read this moms story and see if you think she was wrong.

AITA for leaving my babies inside by themselves?

I (20) am a mother of triplets whom are only 2 months old. I never expected ever in my life that Id be a mother to triplets so when I first became pregnant it was definitely the last thing in my mind.

Im home with my babies all day long and had to even transfer my education to online.

5 Best Prenatal Vitamins in 2023 "IndyWatch Feed Fertility"

Prenatal vitamins contain all the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs during pregnancy. As you can imagine, growing a baby from scratch is no easy feat, and your body will need plenty of vitamins and minerals for this mammoth task. Many expectant mothers choose to take prenatal vitamins for a healthy pregnancy. With numerous options available, finding the best prenatal vitamins in 2023 can be overwhelming.

A good quality pregnancy vitamin contains all the key nutrients, including vitamins and minerals necessary for optimal fetal development and maternal health. Some vitamins are lacking in many modern diets; a prenatal supplement is an easy way to make sure youre getting enough of these vital vitamins to be confident both you and your baby will enjoy optimal health.

How is a prenatal vitamin different from a normal multivitamin?

During pregnancy, your body needs more of certain vitamins and minerals. A prenatal vitamin should contain more of these vital vitamins and minerals. Folic acid is probably the most well-known ingredient of prenatal vitamins but, in fact, other nutrients such as vitamin D are just as important. Most prenatal vitamins contain a mix of all the nutrients that aid healthy development.

Choosing your prenatal vitamins

There are many prenatal vitamins on the market. How do you know which are the best? The most important thing to do is to check the vitamins and minerals included in the supplement, to see which vitamins are included and how much of each is in the dosage. If the supplements hit the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), theyre a great addition to a healthy, balanced diet.

A study published in the journal Maternal Health, Neonatology and Perinatology found that prenatal supplements varied widely in content. Surprisingly, the essential vitamin levels found in prenatal vitamins were often well below the recommended intake during pregnancy. This highlights the need to check labels before purchasing prenatal supplements.

Its also worth reading the reviews. If youre struggling with morning sickness, you might want to choose a prenatal vitamin that tastes nice. Some supplements taste yucky and this can be difficult if youre struggling with nausea.

When should I start taking prenatal vitamins?

Its vital to start taking a prenatal vitamin as soon as you find out youre pregnant, if not before. If possible, you should start taking prenatal vitamins as soon as you start trying to conceive, to prepare your body for pregnancy. Dont worry if you didnt do this; simply start taking them as soon as possible.

What to look for in prenatal vitamins

Not all prenatal supplements are the same, so its important to read the label be...

And, as usual, it comes to us from Reddits Am I the A**hole? page.

So was this woman wrong for giving her mother-in-law the boot?

Get all the details below and see what you think.

AITA for kicking my MIL out of the room for trying to change the babys name?

I(29F) gave birth to my son last week. My husband(32M) and I agreed to name son after my father. My father passed away when I was 14 and we were very close.

His middle name is named after husbands grandfather. My MIL is very opinionated about everything. She has been giving us her opinion on everything for our son.

The day I was due, I only wanted husband there. He drove me to the hospital and MIL walks into the room and starts babbling on about the babys name, feeding schedules, etc. I kept it together as best as I could.

After son was born, MIL was trying to talk husband into convincing me to change his name. She asked the nurses if she could legally change his name. She even went as far as to accuse me of controlling husband into his name.

I yelled at her to get out of the room and we will not be changing the name. She left and has been telling family members a different story. My husband has been sticking up for me and told her that nothing will be changed....

Heat Is Radiating From A Huge Mass Under The Moon "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

In an unprecedented discovery, scientists have unearthed a colossal granite mass that has been gradually emitting heat, hidden beneath a lunar crater. This discovery is not a figment of science fiction, but a testament to the Moons volcanic past. While the Moons history of lava fields and eruptions is well-documented, the discovery of a more Earth-like volcano was a first, found beneath the Compton and Belkovich craters on the Moons far side.

Granite, a rock type rarely found outside of Earth, has sparked excitement among the scientific community. On Earth, granite forms deep beneath the surface, typically under a volcano, where magma cools down and crystallizes. The formation of granite is significantly aided by the presence of water and plate tectonics.

The research team utilized data from both Chinese and American lunar orbiters to uncover this heat-emitting mass beneath the lunar surface, revealing a volcanic process previously unseen on the Moon. We used an instrument that observes microwave wavelengths, longer than infrared, sent to the Moon on both the Chinese ChangE 1 and 2 orbiters. We found that one of these suspected volcanoes, known as Compton-Belkovich, was absolutely glowing at microwave wavelengths, explained co-lead researcher Dr. Matt Siegler, of the Planetary Science Institute.

The data revealed a 20-kilometer-wide silicon-rich surface feature, believed to be the caldera of this ancient volcano. The temperature in this area is 10C warmer than its surroundings. However, this heat is not from magma beneath the surface, as the volcanos last eruption was 3.5 billion years ago. Instead, the heat comes from radioactive elements trapped in the rocks.

We interpret this heat flux as resulting from a radiogenic-rich granite body below the caldera, Dr. Siegler said. We were a bit puzzled when we found it. Fortunately, my wife, Dr. Rita Economos, is the geochemist in the family, so with her guidance, we were able to piece together the probable geologic cause of the heat anomaly.

Dr. Economos further explained, This find is a 50km wide batholith; a batholith is a type of volcanic rock that forms when lava rises into the earths crust but does not erupt onto the surface. El Capitan and Half Dome, in Yosemite in California, ar...

All the keys to this corner

The wall in question exhibits the marks of a building that was cut down. They are the signs of an interruption. The traces are subtle, to notice them one must have a look in love with the wall, which somehow is waiting to find its imperfections, its breaks, its cracks and its smooth parts, but above all it is a look attentive to the life in the wall, to the vestiges of the passage of time and the passage of the experience of life through the places of the city.

Burger King, a global fast-food giant, has recently stirred up a buzz in Thailand with its innovative menu addition. The new item on the menu is a burger that swaps out the traditional meat patty for an astonishing quantity of cheese.

Earlier this week, the Thai division of Burger King unveiled what theyve dubbed the real cheeseburger. This unique creation is a bun packed with up to 20 slices of American cheese. The introduction of this item to Thai menus on Sunday, at a discounted price of 109 Thai baht ($3.10), compared to its regular price of 380 baht ($10.90), quickly became a sensation on social media platforms in Thailand. Numerous TikTok users posted videos of their first encounters with this new sandwich.

Burger King confirmed the authenticity of this unusual offering in a social media post on Sunday, stating, This is no joke. This is for real. The popularity of the cheese-loaded burger was so immense that one Burger King outlet in Bangkok had to halt delivery orders to ensure sufficient stock for walk-in customers.

This new menu item is an example of how fast-food franchises worldwide are striving to create unique and eye-catching menu options that will gain traction on social media.

Fast-food chains continuously adapt their offerings to cater to local tastes in different countries. In Thailand, cheese is particularly popular among younger customers, and its not uncommon to find it sprinkled on a variety of dishes. Burger Kings Thai menu also features salmon katsu burgers, reflecting consumers preference for healthier alternatives to beef.

The Burger King chain in Thailand is owned by Minor International, a local hospitality group that is one of Asias largest restaurant owners.

The trend of introducing unique and sometimes outrageous food items is not just a marketing strategy but also a response to changing consumer preferences. With the rise of social media, consumers are always on the lookout for unique and Instagrammable food items. The real cheeseburger is a perfect example of a product that caters to this trend.

This strategy is not only limited to Thailand but is a global phenomenon. For instance, in India, Burger King offers a range of vegetarian burgers to cater to the large vegetarian population. In Japan, Burger King introduced a black burger, wh...

Plastic Surgeon Lost License After Streaming Botched Surgeries On TikTok "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The field of cosmetic surgery, while often associated with vanity and the pursuit of physical perfection, has a darker side that is not as frequently discussed. A case in point is the recent incident involving an Ohio-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Katharine Grawe, also known as Dr. Roxy. She was permanently barred from practicing medicine in the state due to her unethical conduct, which included live-streaming surgeries on the social media platform, TikTok.

Dr. Grawe, who ran a practice named Roxy Plastic Surgery, was known to her numerous TikTok followers as Dr. Roxy. The Ohio Medical Board, however, decided to revoke her medical license permanently after she was found to be neglecting her patients while live-streaming their surgeries. This was not only a violation of medical ethics but also a breach of patient privacy. Despite being warned by the medical board in 2018, Dr. Grawe continued her unethical practices.

The repercussions of her actions were severe. At least three patients under her care suffered serious complications. One of these cases involved a woman whose intestine was accidentally perforated during a surgery that Dr. Grawe was live-streaming. This led to a blood infection and subsequent complications, resulting in brain damage for the patient. In addition to losing her license, Dr. Grawe was also fined $4,500 by the board.

This incident is not an isolated one. The cosmetic surgery industry has seen a rise in such cases. According to a report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there were over 1.8 million cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the United States in 2020 alone. However, the number of botched surgeries is also on the rise. A study published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal found that the complication rate for cosmetic surgery is around 5%, with severe complications occurring in 1% of cases.

Moreover, the rise of social media has led to an increase in the number of unqu...

What Terrible Things Are Happening in the World Right Now That a Lot of People Dont Know About? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

ARBadThingsinWorld What Terrible Things Are Happening in the World Right Now That a Lot of People Dont Know About?

Unfortunately, we live in a world that is filled with danger, corruption, sadness, and crime.

And, on top of all of that, the world is UNFAIR.

And even though these answers will bum you out, its important to know about the bad things going on in the world.

Check out what people had to say about this on AskReddit.

Awful.

LTAC (long term acute care) facilities.

Basically huge numbers of people that are brainde**d and live with a trach (breathing tube through a hole in their throat) and a feeding tube (through a hole in their abdomen) just sit in these human warehouses and rot away because their families wont admit that theyre d**d.

Not uncommon for the very families insisting they be kept alive to never set foot inside the facility and see their loved one kept alive like someone plugged into the matrix.

I call these places purgatory because they arent quite d**d but theyre definitely not alive.

Sad and scary.

I am always impressed by the courageous tourists who flock to Washington, DC, during the unbearably hot and humid summer months. Fortunately, the city is blessed with many museums behind whose walls you can escape the heat. Below are a few choices to consider before wandering through their revolving doors. The good news is, all the exhibitions listed here are free. But be careful, even if you can dodge the heat outdoors, you will be confronted with heated metaphors indoors.

Europe's First Spot Bitcoin ETF Set To Debut Amidst Growing Interest In The U.S. "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Europe is on the verge of witnessing the launch of its first spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). The long-awaited debut of the European spot bitcoin ETF comes after a significant delay, which has only intensified the anticipation surrounding its arrival. Coinciding with this news, the United States is also experiencing a surge of interest in a similar product, kicking off with the filing by BlackRock for an American spot bitcoin ETF.

Jacobi Asset Management is responsible for the ETF listing, which was actually approved in 2021. Due to market conditions in 2022, the ETF was delayed although theres no official launch date yet, the development comes at an opportune time.

The ETF is designed to provide investors with an opportunity to gain exposure to bitcoin without directly owning the underlying asset, albeit at the costs of properties only offered by self-custody. By offering a regulated and easily accessible investment vehicle, the spot bitcoin ETF has the potential to attract a broader range of institutional investors.

The delay in launching the European spot bitcoin ETF had only heightened market expectations. Investors have been eagerly awaiting a regulatory green light that would enable them to tap into the Bitcoin market with the convenience and security of an ETF structure. Now, with the imminent arrival of Europe's first spot Bitcoin ETF, many believe that it could herald a new era for bitcoin in the region.

Simultaneously, the United States has witnessed a surge of interest in a spot bitcoin ETF following BlackRock's recent filing. As one of the world's largest asset management firms, BlackRock's entry signals a significant shift in sentiment towards bitcoin. Indeed, several other similarly large firms filed spot bitcoin ETFs afterwards.

The filing indicates that even established traditional financial institutions are recognizing the growing demand for regulated exposure to bitcoin. If approved, a spot Bitcoin ETF in the U.S. could potentially provide a significant boost to the market, attracting institutional investors and further bringing bitcoin mainstream.

You Can Now Use Google Lens To Search Skin Conditions With Just a Photo

Google Lens Can Detect Skin Conditions

As technology advances, we can acquire answers to different topics in just a few seconds. While most of us will use Google Search to find what we need, Google Lens has just rolled out more capabilities to assist people's lives. One of them uses image recognition technology to help folks browse possible skin issues by snapping a photo.

This tool can potentially replace the difficulty of researching conditions with text. To get started, all one needs is a camera or a smartphone equipped with one. Describing an odd mole or rash on your skin can be hard to do with words alone. Fortunately, theres a new way Lens can help, with the ability to search skin conditions that are visually similar to what you see on your skin, Google says. Just take a picture or upload a photo through Lens, and youll find visual matches to inform your search. This feature also works if youre not sure how to describe something else on your body, like a bump on your lip, a line on your nails or hair loss on your head.

While this tool can be of great use to people who want guidance on potential skin conditions they may have, Google stresses that Lens should not be used as a replacement for a doctor and encourages users to seek professional help if they are worried about their health.

Lens has added other tools as well. Among them is the ability to translate typed or written text into over 100 languages, making it easier to understand signage in another country. Additionally, Lens can be used to identify landmarks and important institutions like the Louvre and the Smithsonian. There's also the option to research clothes you see online and shop for the same or similar-looking options.

The Illusion of Freedom "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Image result for children saluting the pledge of allegiance

We were once led to believe in the United States that our government was there for us defending and upholding the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. So, when we stood up and pledged allegiance to the flag in our classrooms we didnt realize just how important being a patriot was, but as the years rolled by we would. Little did we know, the more we found out just how wrong we were and then wed been misled. We also found that the more we learned about how wrong and criminal certain actors in government could be, that we had now become enemies of the state or Conspiracy Theorists.

Image result for FBI raiding homes

Could we ever have believed that our very own government would actually go after its own people by weaponizing legendary law enforcement agencies like the FBI and ATF to pursue and investigate innocent people for simply going to a schoolboard meeting to stop the inclusion of filth in school curriculum? Could we ever have believed that our own federal government would sue Border States for enforcing the federal law of protecting our borders because the Obama White House refused to? Could we ever have believed that a man could be locked up by the police because he refused to have his son subjected to homosexual orientation at his school? This happened in Boston.

Image result for Revenue Act of 1913

Could we ever have believed that the very taxes confiscated from our bank accounts resulted from an illegally legislated law in 1913 that gave the authority over US banks, credit, money supply, and currency valuation to a foreign cabal of banking families that were supposed to stabilize the US dollar and banking institutions while bringing back income tax that President Andrew Jackson had banned 75 years before the Revenue Act of 1913? A tax that would become so burdensome that it caused great economic stress upon the American family necessitating both Mom and Dad to enter the work force, thus socially impacting American society? Yet, this federal government would continue spending the country into vast unsupportable deficits that it would have go to foreign countries to sell its debt through the issuance of Treasury Bonds that pay interest to that foreign nation?

Unique Bird-Shaped House Overlooks the Beach in Costa Rica

N2 house zU-studio visual

Inspired by the country's wildlife, zU-studio has designed a bird-shaped residence in Costa Rica. Situated on a hill overlooking the water, the N2 private house is a unique home that promotes a connection with nature. In September, construction will begin in the beach town of Santa Teresa, which is also known as a haven for surfers.

The three-bedroom retreat is laid out on three floors and has a sculptural roof inspired by the plumage of a bird. The roof is set at different heights, which allows light to filter through and creates interesting window shapes. Focusing on the use of natural shapes, the home revolves around a flower-filled central courtyard that acts as a gathering space.

This then spills into the ground-floor common areas, which include an open space kitchen and living room, as well as a pool set into the semi-circular terrace. The unique design is intended to mimic a bird overlooking the water as it decides where to fly off to next. Thanks to its round shape providing endless sea views, guests in the home will be able to do the same.

Sometimes architecture tends to be rational and rigid, almost as if architects are creating using a recipe that could work the same way for all different scenarios, shares the Amsterdam-based firm. We are more interested in listening to our natural instincts when we visit a particular location with a specific context, and we talk with the people who are going to be experiencing the new creation.

It's not every day that such an exciting architectural concept gets built, and we will anxiously await images of the completed project to see how it stacks up to the thrilling concept.

Art and Architecture Dance to a Percussive Beat in a Stop-Motion Tour of Istanbul "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Syrian-German filmmaker and animator Waref Abu Quba takes viewers on a fast-paced tour through the ornate art and architecture of Istanbul in his short film Takrar. Comprised of 270 shots culled from about 2,900 photos, the stop-motion animation zeros in on the elaborate motifs and impeccable craftsmanship spotted throughout the Turkish capital. When I first visited Istanbul in 2021, I was captivated by its timeless beauty and decided to capture it through my lens, Quba says. Creating each frame of this film was an utter joy, and every new scene brought unexpected and beautiful surprises.

Two years in the making, Takrar spotlights the mlange of Islamic, Ottoman, Greek, and Byzantine influences throughout the city. The film is set to an upbeat percussive track played by Robbe Kieckens at the direction of Alex Story that appears to make ancient statues, decorative patterns, and architectural structures dance to the beat in a striking celebration of art and design, past and present.

Strawberries in Pimms: Fourth Round at Wimbledon "IndyWatch Feed Literature"

Photograph by Krithika Varagur.

Hangovers announced themselves on the wan faces on the District line to SW19 on the first Sunday of Wimbledon. Maybe I was projecting. It was a shame, people noted in low tones, that all the British players were now out. A pair of men splitting a salmon-colored broadsheet wondered which BBC presenter was at the center of a recent grooming scandal. Last night was a proper, proper if you saw the amount of tequila we were putting away, said one handsome man, sitting between two heavily made-up girls. All of us filed out, in no particular rush, at Southfields. I went into Costa for an iced Americano before my friend arrived.

Careful, dear, tutted an elderly woman, gesturing to my wide-open tote, the only bag I had in London. I have no spatial awareness at all, I admitted, surveying some almonds, a packable quilted jacket, and a copy of Persuasion, all ripe for the picking. Its not a rough crowd, of course, she said, adjusting a georgette shawl, that was the same pearl color as her fluffy hair. These days, you just never know She trailed off. Wed realized, I think simultaneously, that we were in our first queue of the day at Wimbledon, which isnt just the worlds oldest tennis tournament but a pageant of exuberant restraint, where orderly lines and enclosures have the quality of rites.

Louis arrived, wearing a gray wool suit, and we submitted ourselves to the flow of the crowd. A specter was haunting the weekend outfitsthe specter of the Italian player Jannik Sinners huge Gucci duffel bag. Logomania was back, all around us: Goyard and Chanel bags, giant plastic Prada sunglasses, even several pairs of those Obama-era Tory Burch medallion flats. Web Accessible And Self-Custodial Mutiny Wallet Launches Open Beta "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Mutiny Wallet, the first self-custodial Lightning wallet that operates on the web, has officially launched its open beta. According to the release announcement, the wallet aims to solve the onboarding challenge for Bitcoin users worldwide by providing accessibility regardless of location or device. The announcement described the wallets mission of catering to the five billion global internet users with web browser access by offering complete control of funds and eliminating the need for identity verification. Additionally, the wallet is aimed at introducing unique features that have been restricted by stringent App Store requirements in other Bitcoin wallets.

The first highlighted feature of Mutiny Wallet is its integration of Lightning, a Layer 2 scaling solution built on Bitcoin. The wallet leverages Block's Lightning Development Kit (LDK) project, allowing developers to customize various aspects of the Lightning stack. To facilitate user liquidity management, Mutiny Wallet has partnered with Voltage and their Flow 2.0 product, enabling new users to receive their first Lightning payment within seconds of opening the application.

Furthermore, Mutiny Wallet has introduced separate balances for Lightning channel funds and on-chain spending, aiming for unified balances in the future. The wallet also emphasizes the importance of backups and introduces encrypted and remote storage for restoring Lightning-related data. Users are encouraged to provide feedback during the open beta phase, as the announcement said the team is dedicated to addressing bugs and swiftly implementing new features.

Mutiny Wallet also provides support for Nostr Wallet Connections, a tipping feature for Nostr, a protocol enabling decentralized social media. In addition, Mutiny also intends to introduce subscriptions, offering a pull-based subscription feature built on Nostr Wallet Connect. They offer an example of this in their own subscription, Mutiny+. While Mutiny+ currently provides limited perks according to the announcement, additional paid-only features are planned for the future.

Despite the wallet's progress, some caution is advised due to potential issues, such as payment reliability and force-closes on Lightning channels. The team acknowledged the complexity of Lightning and urged users to avoid loading large sums of funds during the beta phase.

Mutiny Wallet extended its gratitude to the contributors who have aided in its development, including individuals who provided design, frontend and translation support, as well as the teams behind BDK and LDK for their core technology. Users are encouraged to...

The Four Things to Consider About Ancestry DNA testing "IndyWatch Feed Health"

We have all heard about the ancestry DNA test before. There are commercials that play telling us that it is possible to find out about our heritage, where we come from, and what we are made of.

The cool thing about a DNA test is that there are more reasons to take one than you may have realized. There are 4 things in particular you should consider when checking out one of these DNA tests regarding ancestry.

1. The Test Process

Depending on which kit you go with, one may be easier to use than the others. Some require additional steps or even additional costs which means that you are paying not only for the testing device but even more to use it the right way.

There are some kits that come with both the kit and lab processing fee already included in the price. All you have to do is follow the directions and return the pre-paid mailer before you can receive your results about your ancestry.

2. What Kind of Test?

Another major thing to consider is that there are different types of test. The three main ones are the Y-DNA test, the autosomal DNA test, and the mitochondrial ancestry DNA test. It is important to know which kind of test that you are going to be taking.

The autosomal DNA test is the most rich in information, being able to trace both family lines instead of just one like the others are capable of. With a deeper result comes a higher cost but it can be worth it find out where you come from on both sides of the family tree.

3. What Comes in the Test?

Not all test kits are created equally, so it helps to know what kind of kit you are getting. As mentioned previously, the...

Few artists are as widely beloved as Vincent van Gogh. Although underappreciated during his lifetime, the large body of work he left behind has since enthralled art lovers everywhere. While the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam remains a top destination to see his work in person, there is now another way to experience the Dutch Post-Impressionists masterpieces. The museum has digitized 1,500 paintings and drawings by Van Gogh and made them available online for anyone to view.

This incredible array includes some of his most famous paintings as well as lesser-known pieces and even sketches. People can admire the vibrant depictions of the French countryside which he is so known for, and also immerse themselves in the numerous studies Van Gogh made of people and nature. The Van Gogh Museum makes it easy to filter art by time period, location, genre, and more. There is also an option to download any artworks that you like.

Additionally, when you click on an image, you will find more information about when it was made and insight into Van Gogh's process and life. The Van Gogh Museum boasts the largest collection of Van Gogh artwork in the world, but it's nice to see the institution proving alternatives for people who cannot visit in person.

You can start browsing Van Gogh's art here.

We know that the spectrum is pretty wide, and it would take an unreal stroke of luck to find a frequency with a Monkey on the air when/if the SHTF. Methinks that to make life simpler in a potentially stressful situation, it might be a good idea to set up a list of frequencies that we can all agree as a place to start comms in the event, whatever the event may be.

For now, I'm limited by antenna to 40, 20, 15, 10 and 6 meter bands. (Along with 1.25M and of course, 2M and 70cm on the h/t.)...

The Miss Netherlands 2023 pageant has sparked controversy as a biological male has been crowned the winner. Rikkie Valerie Koll, who identifies as Nina, has claimed the title, igniting outrage and reigniting debates about traditional values and gender equality. Critics argue that allowing a biological male to compete in a beauty pageant meant for biological females undermines the essence of womanhood and disrespects the progress made by women over the years. The decision by the Miss Netherlands organization has been condemned for promoting political correctness over fairness and disregarding deserving female candidates. This move sends a troubling message about gender roles and challenges traditional family values. As society grapples with changing perspectives on gender, this controversy highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding inclusivity and the preservation of traditional norms.

Supervillains Ranked by How Easily I Could Defeat Them Now That Im Doing MMA "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Im sick of my dork nephew and his friends pretending not to be impressed the fighting skills Ive honed over the past three weeks doing MMA at Impact Force Gym. Like most kids in our crumbling nation, theyre more interested in comic books and cartoons than real life. No matter how many sick combos I show off, theyre always saying stuff like Yeah, well you could never beat Thanos! I decided to set the record straight right here.

Youll notice that as this list goes on the villains actually get stronger. Thats because iron sharpens iron. The fact that they are powerful will only further activate my feral instincts and make me stronger.

56. Captain Boomerang

Barely worth my time, hes only on the list so I have someone to practice landing the twister on. Ive almost got it.

55. Riddler

Riddle me this, nerd: Who has two wolves inside him and a +3000N punch for your smug face? This guy.

54. Kite Man

Not that this chump presents much of a challenge to begin with, but my boxing skills are on point. Im just gonna blast my jabs so fast that the wind force blows him away.

Loves Work: Philosopher Gillian Rose on the Value of Getting It Wrong "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

You may be weaker than the whole world but you are always stronger than yourself. Let me send my power against my power Let me discover what it is that I want and fear from love. Power and love, might and grace.

Loves Work: Philosopher Gillian Rose on the Value of Getting It Wrong

There is hardly any activity, any enterprise, which is started with such tremendous hopes and expectations, and yet, which fails so regularly, as love, the humanistic philosopher and psychologist Erich Fromm wrote in his classic on the art of loving. In some sense, no love ever fails, for no experience is ever wasted even the most harrowing becomes compost for our growth, fodder for our combinatorial creativity. But in another, it is indeed astonishing how often we get love wrong how, over and over, it stokes our hopes and breaks our hearts and hurls us onto the cold hard baseboards of our being, flattened by defeat and despair, and how, over and over, we rise again and hurl ourselves back at the dream of it, the delirium of it, the everlasting wonder of it.

How to go on doing it undefeated is what British philosopher Gillian Rose (September 29, 1947December 9, 1995) examines in her part-memoir, part-reckoning Loves Work (public library), written in the final years of her prolific and passionate life, and published just before her untimely death of ovarian cancer.

In a twist that manages to be both shocking and entirely predictable, Boris Johnson has apparently been unable to hand over WhatsApp messages from his old mobile phone to the Covid inquiry because hes forgotten the password.

Circle To Lay Off Staff And Refocus On Core Activities "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Circle, the company behind the USDC stablecoin, has recently laid off a portion of its workforce amid a turbulent year for the digital asset industry. According to the company, the recent layoffs aimed to maintain a strong balance sheet. And by streamlining its workforce and reducing costs, the company may be better positioned to weather the challenging market conditions.

Circle has characterized the recent layoffs as a marginal reduction in headcount, which is part of a broader effort to reduce operational expenses and discontinue investments in non-core activities.

According to the Reuters report, a Circle spokesperson said that:

Circle is redoubling its focus on core business activities and execution. It has identified new areas for investment and is continuing to hire in key areas of focus on a global basis.

Circle Had Expressed Plans To Expand The Workforce Earlier

The recent news of Circles workforce reduction comes as a surprise, given that the companys finance chief, Jeremy Fox-Green, had announced earlier this year that the USD Coin issuer had other plans.

Fox-Geen mentioned that Circle had plans to increase this headcount by 15% to 25% by the end of the year, which would have added to its 900-employee workforce. Despite the recent workforce reduction, Circle has indicated that it is still actively recruiting for key areas of focus.

Fox-Green said that the company is growing and investing and we are fortunate to be in a financial position to be able to sustain our investments.

Circles decision to expand its workforce by up to 25% this year represented a slower growth rate compared to 2022 when the company had doubled its headcount from the previous year.

In other news, Circle had recently announced its new chief legal officer, Heath Tarbert, who previously served as the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission(CFTC).

According to Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, the company aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and Web3, and Tarberts experience and legal expertise will be instrumental in advancing the utility value of the USDC stablecoin worldwide.

Russia Will Begin Testing A Digital Currency Next Month "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

Russian rulers have outlined their rules for a digital ruble. Testing of the new central bank digital currency (CBDC) with clients will reportedly begin next month.

Russias central bank published draft regulations for the use of a digital ruble on Wednesday, as it prepares to launch testing of the new currency with clients. The draft sets out rules for transactions between the Bank of Russia, as the operator of the digital ruble platform, and the systems users, according to a statement on the banks website.

The document explains the types of digital wallets that will be available and the procedure for opening and closing digital ruble accounts. It also outlines the list of possible operations with the new currency. The draft regulation also provides a mechanism for dispute resolution and a procedure for monitoring user compliance with the platforms rules, according to a report by RT.

The concept of a national digital currency was unveiled by the Bank of Russia in late 2020. Russia is no the only country that wants to convince the public to enslave themselves with this currency. If there was ever a time for humanity to stand together against the masters, its now.

The Endgame: Central Bank Digital Currency

The new form of money is expected to coexist with cash and non-cash rubles. Unlike virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, the digital ruble will be controlled by the central bank, and the ruling class with have the final decision as to how it is used, where, and in what amount. They will also decide how much they believe they are entitled to and how much the slave can keep. It will be issued by the state monetary regulator and backed by traditional money (fiat currency).

These sociopaths view us as their property and until we realize that no one is going to save us, we need to save ourselves, we are going to be stuck in this dystopian reality they are constructing around us right now. Its time to realize you are a free human being. You do not have the right to enslave others through your vote or through force. You also have the right to be free from enslavement by vote or force. We had better start to understand the end game and that if there is a politician in power, they are in on it. No governor or member of law enFORCEment will save you.  The only keep those already in power on their thrones. Wake up. Stop living the lie that you have to be a slave to anyone. -SHTFPlan

They will keep treating us like slaves as long as we act like slaves and continue to comply.
