MASS MURDER: Latest data suggests COVID jabs KILLED at least 416,000 Americans "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

New research out of Germany suggests that upwards of 100,000 people there died because of Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines. The same data extrapolated to the United States population suggests that at least 400,000 people here also died because of the jabs. German researchers calculated excess mortality for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, these being the three primary years covering the COVID scam. The first year before the shots were introduced through Operation Warp Speed, the excess death count in Germany was around 4,000, which multiplied by four means 16,000 excess deaths in the U.S. that same year. The reason for multiplying by four is that Germanys population is currently around 83.2 million people, while the U.S. population is roughly four times that number. Thus, a simple four-times multiplier can be used to approximate the number of excess deaths in the U.S. based on this German data. In 2021 after the launch of Operation Warp Speed, the excess death count in Germany soared to 34,000 deaths or about 136,000 excess deaths in the United States. Things got even worse in 2022 after the launch of COVID booster shots, which contributed to an excess death count in Germany of 66,000 that same year, or approximately 264,000 excess deaths in the U.S. Altogether, the excess death rate in the U.S. during the three primary COVID years of 2020-2022, based on extrapolated data from the German study, amounts to about 416,000 which is quite a number for a product that the U.S. government repeatedly claimed was safe and effective.

If COVID jabs really work as claimed, there would have been fewer excess deaths and stillbirths, not exponentially MORE of them

Various other factors contributed to all these excess deaths beyond just the jabs. There were oppressive lockdowns, mask mandates, and hospital protocols that involved the use of toxic remdesivir and mechanical ventilation. All of this combined with the jabs resulted in a lot of excess death. COVID itself, meanwhile, seems to...

Artist Reimagines the Iconic Metal Ruler to Measure the Unmeasurable in Our Lives

X-shaped custom made metal measuring instrument by Rick Salafia

Instrument #42

Throughout history, measuring instruments have helped us make sense of our environment. Ancient civilizations used body parts to indicate length while relying on celestial bodies to tell time. With the introduction of more uniform measuring systems, the world was able to fall into place and quantify anything at any scale, from the smallest bacteria to entire planets. But what about measuring the intangible things that also inform our life? Can feelings be counted? Can our souls be appraised? That's the idea artist Rick Salafia drew from to create his evocative Instruments series.

Comprising metal pieces that resemble conventional rulers bent out of shape, the Instruments series speaks to something larger. This project seeks to create tools to measure the unmeasurable concepts that are woven into our livesthat we engage with as if they are measurable. The value of a human life. The weight of grief. The levels of anxiety we might experience when faced with something we think we shouldnt be anxious about, Salafia tells My Modern Met. Each of us has a different way to calibrate these things. The project is a way of exploring our attempts to standardize those experiences.

SUI Price Plummets By 38% In 7 Days Will It Recover Anytime Soon? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The price of SUI has experienced a significant decline in the past week, dropping by 38.13%. In the last 24 hours alone, the price has fallen by 21.51%. However, there is a glimmer of hope as the price slightly increased by 1.53% in the past hour. Currently priced at $0.58 per SUI, the token is 61.12% below its all-time high of $1.50. The question now remains whether SUI can regain its footing and initiate a recovery.

SUI Coin Faces Bearish Pressure

The global crypto market cap has dropped below $1.10 trillion again, leading to a negative trading sentiment across most cryptocurrencies. SUI coin, in particular, has experienced a significant decline of over 10% in the past 24 hours, with its price falling below $0.70. The assets technical analysis suggests a bearish trend, characterized by high selling pressure and struggles for buyers to reverse the downward momentum.

On the 4-hour timeframe chart, the SUI coin has been in a downtrend, seeking stable support. It trades below its short-term and long-term moving averages, with the 50-day MA at approximately $0.837 and the 200-day MA at $1.020. This positioning below the moving averages signifies a consistent decline in the coins price, potentially indicating a lack of buying pressure and weakened market sentiment.

The immediate support level for the SUI coin is at $0.50, while the resistance level stands at around $0.76. Recent rejection below the resistance level has fueled the downtrend. Furthermore, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the 4-hour timeframe chart confirms the bearish sentiment, with an RSI of 17.9 indicating oversold conditions. Sellers currently outnumber buyers, further adding to the downward pressure on the SUI coin.

Stunningly Realistic Oil Portraits Look Just Like Their Real-Life Models

Hyperrealistic Portraits With Their Models by Damian Lechoszest

Looking at one of Damian Lechoszests paintings is like taking a trip to a museum. His traditional approach to portraiture evokes the style of the Old Masters and gives each piece a timeless quality. When a painting is complete, he showcases the realism of his subjects by having the real-life models pose beside their likenesses. The resemblance is uncanny.

From a woman in a flowing white gown standing before an ocean shore to a lady illuminated by candlelight, these portraits possess a romantic atmosphere that can easily fit into many different time periods. Each of Lechoszest's models wears a distinct costume with a classic silhouette that adds to the nostalgic ambiance. As a result, these oil-rendered figures look like they belong to many eras at once.

Lechoszest keeps the compositions of his portraits simpleoften opting for a blank background or minimalist interiorso that the focus remains on the subject. In this way, the viewer becomes absorbed in the expression of the figure. This feat is all the more impressive once you are able to compare just like Lechoszest's interpretation.

Refusing To Cook Boyfriend Late Are You Always Required To Be Polite To Guests Even When You Didnt Invite Them?

There are so many posts on Reddit from people who are in relationships and wondering if their partners behavior is normal or really as annoying bad as it seems in the moment.

The next thing she knew he arrived over an hour late with a friend in tow. She greeted the friend and then asked to speak with her boyfriend.

My (22F) boyfriend (24M) was supposed to come at mine around 8 pm so we could have dinner together.

He didnt showed up until an hour later and when he arrived, he was with a friend.

I greeted his friend and asked my boyfriend to follow me in the kitchen.

He told her hed run into the friend and gone to get a drink. When he realized hed lost track of time, he invited the friend for dinner.

I asked him why he was late and what was his friend doing here. He said that on his way home, he ran into the friend, they went to get drinks and when he saw the time, he invited him to eat with us

How I Missed The Early Days Of Bitcoin "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Enza Coin, a Bitcoin-focused investor and content creator.

The other day I was looking through my closet and found a pair of my old FitFlops. Does anyone remember these? FitFlops sold for some $100 and promised to work your legs into shape just by walking. Seeing them made me recall the time I spent traveling across Asia from around 2008 onward.

In those years and into the early 2010s, I was busy managing a company based in Hong Kong while accompanying my then boyfriend/fianc around Asia. He worked on various finance projects with governments in the region, flashing his MBA, two masters degrees and finance background while I occupied my days, and some nights, with corporate matters and adding to my investment portfolio. In those days, that meant investing in various equities, some Asian venture capital funds and an occasional seed funding opportunity.

Apart from that, I also did some modeling for advertisements and through this I earned my play money. And, what did I intend to do with my play money? I wanted to invest in bitcoin.

My First Steps

In 2010, with Bitcoins genesis block having been mined just one year prior, I came across some stories about this wonder-currency. I was intrigued and interested in investing. I struggled trying to find enough information and to sort through the comments for and against it. The challenges were massive. It seemed easier just to forget about it and go drink another espresso.

How could I invest? How could I sort through the many technical aspects? I felt like I needed to have a degree in programming. Moreover, I had concerns that if I did figure out where to buy it and how to hold it, then was I going to get some virus on my PC as a result or be pursued by someone from the dark side after I did? Could I be subjected to the many scams or hacks that I was reading about?

It is sad to think, however, that even 14 years since the genesis block, some of these impediments remain for many people, stifling greater Bitcoin adoption.

Asking The Expert

As I mentioned earlier, my then boyfriend/fianc was apparently a financial expert. I mean, he was advising governments on their finances and economic development. He had been investing in stock markets since he was a teenager. So, why not ask him for help and his thoughts?

One weekend while in Singapore, I sprung the news and my questions. I recall that day so vividly. I mentioned Bitcoin and my desire to buy $100 worth and sell it after it grew to $1,000 worth. I thought it was fine to gamble a small amount because, even if I lost it all, I would somehow survive the loss perhaps with only a few hours spent at a therapist.

Anyway, this is what I heard:

What? Bitcoin? Thats just for use by scammers and prostitutes....

Bleak Dogecoin (DOGE) Social Sentiment Raises Questions About Price Reversal "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Dogecoin (DOGE) has recently found itself at the center of a storm caused by the US Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) lawsuit against major exchanges Binance and Coinbase. As media outlets spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt regarding the legal proceedings, the market capitalization of this meme coin has experienced a significant drop.

However, despite the turbulence, on-chain data reveals that the long-term loyalists of the Dogecoin community remain resolute in their support.

In the face of the dwindling media mentions and the calming of the storm, a compelling question arises: could this be the opportune moment for bullish investors to seize the dip and spur yet another impressive price rebound for DOGE?

Dogecoin (DOGE) Holders Show Resilience Amidst Market Turbulence

According to detailed on-chain analysis, it appears that the recent sell-offs and price drops in DOGE were primarily driven by short-term traders rather than committed long-term holders. A comprehensive Santiment chart illustrates this phenomenon, showcasing a notable increase in Mean Coin Age within the Dogecoin ecosystem during the same period when massive sell-offs occurred.

Examining the data between June 1 and June 9, the Mean Coin Age for DOGE has experienced a 5% increase, rising from 54,317 to 57,219. This upward trend in Mean Coin Age during a period of price retracement serves as a promising signal, indicating growing confidence among long-term DOGE holders.

Remarkably, approximately 70% of the total circulating Dogecoin supply is currently held by steadfast long-term investors who have held their positions for more than a year. With such a significant portion of DOGE in the hands of committed holders, it follows logically that if they continue to hold onto their coins, the price of DOGE is likely to rebound in the near future.

Excuse BS Employer Proof Saw Bosses Share Excuses From Employees They Thought Were Total BS Until They Saw the Proof

Am I really supposed to believe that nonsense?!?!

Have you ever had someone say that to you or maybe youve said it to an employee?

Well, those situations turn out to be really awkward when you find out the person who gave you an excuse that sounded ridiculous turned out to be 100% true.

And these AskReddit users have been there.

Check out what they had to say.

That really sucks.

One of my colleagues said he would be late because of heavy rains.

It turned out that he was living in a flood prone zone and he showed up to office shirtless because it was wet and soiled by muddy water, with a video of his car floating and totalled on the road near his house.

Disgusting.

When I managed a convenience store, a guy who was there didnt complete all his closing tasks until about 1am (we closed at 11pm). It usually only took about 15 minutes.

He said it got super busy and someone had diarrhea in the middle of the store he had to clean up. He was known in the past for being lazy and finishing his job and milking his time to get more hours in so I really thought he was just saying stuff as an excuse.

I like to see her with her finger pointing up to Jesus. When Marian devotion is too self-centered, its not good. Both in the devotion and in the people who carry it forward, the pontiff also added.

The interview with the Pope was released just a few days after residents of Trevignano Romano, where Scarpulla received devotees who flocked to the rumored Madonna statue, asked the Pope to intervene on the issue. Scarpulla was also known by many names to her followers, such as The Saint, Clairvoyant, and Gisella Cardia. She organized monthly ceremonies in a park overlooking Lake Bracciano, where the Virgin Mary statue she claimed to have shed tears of blood was enclosed in a glass case.

The local bishop, Marco Salvi, urged followers to stop flocking to the site while his diocese was investigating the phenomenon surrounding the statue. Many devotees prayed on the statue in search of cures for sickness and received divine messages from Scarpulla.

Shes currently under judicial investigation after reports of victims surfaced, where they told stories of how Scarpulla scammed them into donating hefty sums of money, along with claims from a private inv...

Taxpayer Dollars for Catholic School? Oklahoma Shakes Nation's Secularism "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Oklahoma gave the green light to establish the first religious charter school in the United States on June 5th, opening a new set of debates on the separation of church and state in public education.

An education board in the state approved the virtual K-12 Catholic charter school, St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School, named after the patron saint of technology, in a 3-to-2 vote. The Oklahoma Statewide Virtual Charter School Board was composed of members appointed by Oklahomas Republican governor, Kevin Stitt.

A Christian conservative, Governor Stitt supported the establishment of religious charter schools and described the approval of the virtual Catholic charter school as a win for religious liberty and education freedom in Oklahoma.

Leaders of the local Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and the Diocese of Tulsa will run St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School. But because the school is a charter school, or a type of public school in the United States that runs independently from the established school system in the state it operates, the school will receive funds from taxpayers.

For the first five years of the schools operations, taxpayers in Oklahoma are expected to cough up more than $25 million to fund the school. The move to create the United States first religious charter school received opposition from public education advocates and non-religious groups to pastors and other religious leaders.

The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is trying to make charter schools into something they are not, Nina Rees, chief executive of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, said.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State, a non-religious group advocating for secularism in the United States, announced just minutes af...

Cardano (ADA), along with numerous other major altcoins, experienced a significant downturn in recent days, causing considerable losses for investors. As panic and uncertainty gripped the crypto space, holders of Cardano and other altcoins found themselves questioning the stability and future prospects of these digital assets.

What factors contributed to this market-wide decline, and what lies ahead for Cardano amidst this turbulent period?

Currently valued at $0.248073 according to CoinGecko, ADA has suffered a significant decline of 22.2% within the past 24 hours, further exacerbating the downward trend. Over the span of the last seven days, the cryptocurrency has experienced a staggering downturn, plummeting by 34.2%.

UN Demands UK Schools to Halt Religion-Based Pupil Selection "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The United Nations has called on schools in the United Kingdom to end the selective admission of students based on their faith and provided other recommendations to prevent religious discrimination in schools across the country.

The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child published its periodic review of childrens rights in the United Kingdom on June 2nd. The report concluded that the country should prioritize preventing the use of religion as a selection criterion for school admissions in England.

Some of the other recommendations highlighted by the UN committees report include revoking laws that require students to attend collective worship in schools, repealing the right of parents to withdraw their children from sex education, and establishing statutory guidance to ensure that students can withdraw from religious classes without needing consent from their parents.

The report by the UNCRC received backlash from religious leaders and some Members of Parliament, with Paul Berber, Director of the Catholic Education Service, describing the report's findings as illiberal.

He also claimed that Catholic schools are more ethnically diverse and serve more of the pupils from the most deprived backgrounds than the state sector.

The former bishop of Rochester, Monsignor Michael Nazir-Ali, described the report as a secular-inspired attack against faith schools and urged the UNCRC to look at other countries such as Afghanistan instead of the United Kingdom.

Target Locked Shelf Button Target Shopper Points Out How Locked Shelves Are A Bad Trend After Hitting the Help Button Repeatedly and Being Ignored

I went to a Walmart store recently to pick up a few things and they had the soap locked up behind glass in one of the aisles.

THE SOAP!

What is this world coming to?!?!

And the store had one of those buttons you push to get an employee to come over, unlock the glass, and hand me the soap, but it took quite a while for anyone to actually respond to me.

And that brings us to todays story!

A shopper at Target seemed to be pretty annoyed with the extra security precautions at her local Target store.

She shared a video on TikTok showing what she had to do to get an employees attention so she could get some items that were locked up.

Bitcoin (BTC) Lower Timeframe Outlook: $26,800 Breakthrough Could Spark Rally "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency in the market, made a fake attempt to breach the $27,500 barrier on Tuesday. Since then, it has been trading sideways, moving within a narrow channel.

The 50-day Moving Average, which is the nearest resistance, is at $27,200. Meanwhile, the strongest support is at the 200-day MA, placed at $25,200.

For Bitcoin to initiate a fully formed bull run in the market, it is essential to hold this support level, if BTC bulls expect another attempt to breach the $30,000 mark and propel the market in full force, the $25,200 support level is crucial, and it needs to be held to achieve this goal.

XRP And LTC Poised For Breakouts As Bitcoin Eyes $28,000

The lower timeframe picture for Bitcoin is straightforward, according to cryptocurrency analyst Michael Van de Poppe. He believes that for BTC to continue its upward trend, it needs to break through the $26,800 level. If that level is breached and flipped, Van de Poppe predicts that $27,500 is a likely next target, with the possibility of further breakouts on XRP and Litecoin (LTC).

Van de Poppes analysis is based on technical indicators and market trends. He highlights the significance of the $26,800 level as a key resistance level that must be overcome for BTC to gain momentum. The cryptocurrency has been trading in a narrow range, and a breakout could signal a shift in market sentiment.

Van de Poppes predictions align with the overall bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market, with many analysts expecting BTC to continue its upward trajectory. However, there are also concerns about potential price corrections and volatility, which could impact short-term market movements.

BTC In Period of Stability, Revisiting 200-Week MA Despite Downside Volatility

According to cryptocurrency analyst Rekt Capital, BTC is currently in a period of stability. If this stability continues, BTC could revisit the $27,600 level and potentially break out. However, BTC is still retesting the 200-week Moving Average despite downside volatility below it during the week.

Furthermore, BTC is currently trading below a series of Lower Highs, which is represented by the blue line in the chart. To move higher, BTC needs to invalidate this series of Lower Highs.

Bitcoin Throwback Could Trigger Flawless Technical Bottom Formation "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin price is struggling after failing to make it above resistance last month. Combined with the recent pressure on the crypto market applied by the US SEC, things arent looking great for bulls.

However, the correction has stopped precisely at a key level that could indicate a throwback is in process. If confirmed, BTCUSD could trade above $40,000 per coin in the near future.

A Closer Look At The Technical Bottom Formation In Crypto

The study of technical analysis uses past price history to predict probabilities in future market movements. Certain patterns have been discovered time and time again, that produce reasonably replicable results. From the size or shape of the pattern, analysts can derive roughly how far the associated breakout should travel.

Bitcoin price action over the last year has formed what appears to be a technically flawless inverse head and shoulders pattern. The inverse head and shoulders is a bullish reversal pattern that appears at the bottom of a trend as it change direction. It consists of a left shoulder, head, a right shoulder, and a neckline. The head must be lower than each shoulder, and the neckline is of extra importance, because thats where the abundance of orders are associated.

What Exactly Is A Bitcoin Throwback, And Why Does It Matter?

A throwback occurs after a breakout of the neckline, when the market isnt convinced of the bullish move. The neckline holding is a sign to others that the pattern could confirm, and more traders pile in creating a breakout and strong move higher. When using the example as a comparison, the resulting breakout could reach as much as over $40,000...

Tron Upward Price Momentum At Risk Unless Key Resistance Is Breached "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Over the past few weeks, the price of Tron (TRX) has experienced an upward movement. However, it has struggled to break through a crucial resistance level for a significant period of time.

In the last 24 hours, TRX saw a 1% increase, while on the weekly chart, it recorded a 3% gain. The bullish momentum has been maintained since surpassing the $0.68 price level. The technical outlook suggests a potential shift towards bullish influence.

Demand and accumulation indicators have shown improvement in the daily timeframe. While Tron has managed to resist the broader market sentiments affecting other altcoins, it remains vulnerable to fluctuations in the Bitcoin price.

To sustain its daily gains, it is crucial for TRX to surpass the immediate resistance level. Failure to do so may result in a reversal of its upward trend. The increase in the TRX market capitalization indicates that demand has started to revisit the market.

Tron Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

Tron

At the time of writing, Tron (TRX) was trading at $0.078. The altcoin faced overhead resistance at $0.079, and a successful move above this level would likely propel TRX above the $0.080 mark. However, if it is rejected at $0.079, the coin could experience a significant decline.

It is worth noting that TRX has previously faced rejection at the $0.083 level, which will serve as an important resistance. On the downside, the nearest support for Tron is located at $0.074.

If TRX fails to hold above this support level, it may drop further to $0.068. The trading volume of TRX in the last session was green, suggesting that buyers have started to establish control over the price.

This would tend to corroborate the claims made years ago by Bob Lazar who has not wavered at all over his accounts of UFOs being back engineered at Area 51. Just as Lazar claims so does David Grusch that these alien crashes that have been recovered are being studied for utilizing this exotic technology for our own purposes.

Intelligence oversight?

One might recall that Luiz Elizondo, an intelligence investigator proclaimed that the UFOs were the biggest intelligence failure of the US government in history back in 2021. Why? Due to the fact that the US government made an assumption that UAPs, Flying Saucers, unknown aerial vehicles were not considered a threat to national security so the public had been misled to think either these sightings were hoaxes or simply a mystery that was no cause for alarm. Elizondo, got into hot water when he made some false statements about his credentials and who he actually worked for. Bob Lazars entire personal identification was completely wiped clean by the federal government to contradict his former status as a scientific contractor for the US Navy, but in front of a federal judge he was able to produce a payment stub from the US Navy.

Truth or distraction?

Grusch has not been able to produce documents or photos of his allegations saying that the top secret nature of such material cannot be publicly revealed. This has raised doubt. Grusch has made presentations to the Inspector general and Congress about his claims. Still, it seems that other branches of the US Armed Services have not corroborated Grutschs revelations....

Heres How Current Bitcoin Capitulation Compares With Past Crashes "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

On-chain data shows that Bitcoin short-term holders are depositing 0.82% of their supply to exchanges. Heres how these inflows compare with past crashes.

Bitcoin Short-Term Holder Inflows Have Been Elevated Recently

The BTC market can be divided into two broad investor groups, one of which is the short-term holder (STHs) cohort. The STHs are investors who have been holding onto their coins since less than 155 days ago.

Generally, the Bitcoin holders belonging to this group are the weakest hands in the market, as they may easily sell at the sight of any sharp volatility or uncertainty in the market.

The opposite cohort is called the long-term holder (LTH) group, and it naturally includes all participants that have been carrying their BTC in their wallets since more than 155 days ago.

These LTHs usually hold for large stretches of times, and they are the diamond hands in the sector who need to be pushed a lot before they start panic selling their coins.

Recently, the Bitcoin market has observed the emergence of FUD in the market, as a result of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) suing cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Coinbase.

The market has acted volatile in both directions, but overall the price of the asset has gone down since the volatility has arrived. Obviously, in times like these, the STHs would be the first ones to break.

In a new tweet, the on-chain analytics firm Glassnode has looked at the exchange inflow data of the STHs, to see how they are coping with the current situation.

The below chart shows the trend in the Bitcoin exchange inflow for these investors over the past year:

Bitcoin Short-Term Holder Exchange Inflow

As you can see in the above graph, the Bitcoin exchange inflow for the STHs has been climbing recently and has now hit relatively high levels. The exchange inflow here refers to a metric that tracks the amount of the asset that these investors have been depositing into the wallets of centralized exchanges.

One of the main reasons why investors transfer their coins to these platforms is for selling-related purposes, so the exchange inflow data for these holders can provide us with...

George R. R. Martin Joins the Picket Line of the WGA Strike in His Home of Santa Fe, New Mexico "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

George R. R. Martin Joins the Picket Line of the WGA Strike in His Home of Santa Fe, New Mexico

Behind every epic show or movie, before the casting of famous actors and before the visual effects team starts doing its magic, there is a writer (or a group of them) working on building a world and telling a compelling story. For example, the nail-biting political moves and daring characters of Game of Thrones began as the creation of author George R. R. Martin. It should come as no surprise that he's a big advocate for writers. Since production studios failed to meet writers' demands on fair payment, staffing requirements, and exclusivity deals, the Writers Guild of America has been on strike for over a month now. As screenwriters of all walks of life take to the picket line, the latest one to do so has been Martin himself.

The A Song of Ice and Fire author posted on his website about joining the protest in New Mexico, the sunny state he has called home since 1979. Last week the Writers Strike reached the Land of Enchantment, with picket lines in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe that shut down a couple of shoots, he wrote. The biggest turnout was Friday, when we picketed the Greer Garson Studios for most of the day.

WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange Facing Extradition After Losing Challenge "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, is facing extradition from Britain to the United States after losing a challenge that would prevent that. Assange, who is wanted on 18 charges related to the release of confidential U.S. military records and diplomatic cables, will, however, renew his appeal next week according to a report by Reuters. The British High Court ruled that Assange had no legal grounds to challenge the extradition decision.

Previously, a British judge ruled against Assange's extradition, citing concerns about his mental health and the risk of suicide if held in a maximum security prison. However, the decision was overturned on appeal after the U.S. authorities provided assurances, including the possibility of transferring Assange to Australia to serve any sentence.

WikiLeaks gained prominence in 2010 for releasing classified files and diplomatic cables, marking one of the largest security breaches in U.S. military history. As a journalist, Assanges platform highlighted war crimes and incredible breaches of public trust by the U.S. military. His efforts to bring crimes and actions committed by the government to light have been met with furious retaliation despite the protections journalists should receive, even when reporting on sensitive information. To punish Assange for his work is to set the precedent that journalists who delve too deeply into government affairs will be made an example of.

Assange's case has drawn international attention and sparked debates regarding freedom of the press and the potential implications for whistleblowers. The renewed appeal next week will be a crucial moment in determining Assange's fate as he continues to fight against extradition to the United States.

The latest issue of Bitcoin Magazine Print is the Gatekeepers Issue, featuring Assange on the front. We lead the editorial of The Gatekeepers Issue with an open letter to Julian Assange titled Dear Julian, a download page for the cover story explains. In this piece, the author likens Assange's actions to those of ancient Greek Titan, Prometheus. To read the full story, you can input your email to receive a virtual copy of the open letter and to fully appreciate the Gatekeepers Issue, you can sign up for a subscription here

Through Metaphorical Illustrations, Owen Gent Unveils Difficult Psychological Experiences "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

A silhouette of a woman peers out from behind the hair of a larger woman

All images Owen Gent, shared with permission

For Owen Gent, texture and shadow are essential narrative tools. The Bristol-based artist fosters a robust personal practice and works with commercial clients, authors, and various publications to create moody illustrations rich with metaphor. In one work evoking the emotional toll of cancer, trauma, and depression, a figurative silhouette draws back a womans hair to survey the surroundings while still protected by the strands. An unsettling piece takes a similarly introspective and psychological approach as black crows circle a subject, one on fire and another grasping at the persons eye.

Gent tells Colossal that his works begin with analog techniques like painting, and digital manipulation comes later. Its a constant push and pull between the two, and I try and be conscious of not losing too much of the original piece when editing, he says.

Prints are available in Gents shop, and his illustrated childrens book Thats Nice, Love is out now. Find more of his work on Behance and Instagram.

Viral Video Reminds Us Why To Stay Away From Bison in Yellowstone National Park "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Viral Video Reminds Us Why To Stay Away From Bison in Yellowstone National Park

Bison in Yellowstone National Park

Photo: dkaubo/Depositphotos (Not a photo of the actual bison.)

Visiting the U.S. National Parks comes with some simple rules, one of the most important being to never approach wildlife. Its dangerous for us and for the animals. Despite this common-sense guideline, some tourists forget itespecially if theres a great photo opportunity calling. But Yellowstone National Park is reminding us (again) to abide by this rule. If you need any proof as to why you should heed its warning, just watch as a woman got way too close to one of its bison.

In a short video captured on May 20, 2023, a bison is near a wooden plank path in the park. At the start of the seven-second clip, the animal has its head down and looks to be grazing. A group of folks stands close byonly a few feet awayand one woman reaches her hand as if shes going to pet the creature. In a split second, the bison moves closer and shakes its head. It looks like it could charge. The group of people scatters, and the woman who held out her hand runs away but soon loses her footing and falls to the ground. Luckily, it seems that the bison was only trying to startle the group and doesnt move any further.

The viral clip illustrates why its important to appreciate wildlife from afar. The animals in Yellowstone are wild and unpredictable, no matter how calm they appear to be. The safest (and often best) view of wildlife is from inside a car, Yellowstone National Park advises. Always stay at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards (23 m) away from all other animals, including bison and elk.

When visiting the U.S. National Parks, its important...

Gemini New Moon Ritual June 2023 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The June 2023 New Moon comes at a busy time in our cosmic skies. Peaking on June 17-18 in the sign of Gemini, the energy behind this New Moon may have us feeling a little unsettled or confused.

While there is big soul-growth energy on offer, one of the best ways to navigate through all of the cosmic vibrations is to get our thoughts, ideas, and feelings out onto paper.

The communicative and expressive nature of Gemini energy will be on our side, guiding us to find clarity and bring balance to both our logical mind and our soul essence.

Here is a ritual to guide you, dont forget you can read your full astrology forecast for this New Moon here.

Creating Clarity: Gemini New Moon Ritual June 2023

You can do this ritual anytime between June 11-19, 2023

You will need:

Directions:

1.) Begin with cleansing your aura using your tool of choice. Start at the top of your head and work your way down your body. As you cleanse your aura, feel free to recite the following:

I cleanse my head, releasing any tension. I cleanse my hair, my psychic antennas to the world around me. I cleanse my jaw and shoulders, unclenching and softening. I cleanse my chest, allowing my heart to feel free. I cleanse my belly, letting go of all I no longer need. I cleanse my legs, releasing anything that feels heavy. I cleanse the soles of my feet, may they walk me to peace.

Using your same cleansing tool, cleanse your space and any of your ritual ingredients.

2.) Get nice and comfortable and begin your I am Aligned Cosmic Guided Meditation. This meditation is designed to bring you into a state of alignment, which will definitely be welcomed, considering the busy energies behind this New Moon!

3.) After the meditation is complete, take your journal and pen and select from one of the following journal prompts, then make a bullet list of 50 points as fast as you can- you may just surprise yourself with what comes up! (If you want extra credit, make it 100 points!)

Has the Police State Achieved its Ultimate Goal: Neuro link "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Image result for Neuro Link implant

For the longest time IT has been trying to find a way to link the human brain to machines. Under Artificial Intelligence we already have deep machine learning and textual comprehension creating conversational intelligence. Neuro Link has been around in at least one form for 20 or more years. One scientist found a way to create his own matrix. In the year 2000 one researcher had an implant inserted into his skull so that he could automatically tune into the internet using his brain. His evaluation then was that at some point all humans would have to be hooked up to the artificial reality of the internet or they would be out of the loop. They would not be able to participate in society along with the rest of the alternate reality sheep.

Potential for mind control

Neuro link does not just represent the pure convenience of interphase with appliances or electronic devices it represents remote behavior modification! After having an implant inserted a person is subject to whatever control it is designed for. On Tim Cast, the host proposed the idea of no more prisons where anyone being convicted of a violent crime would not be sentenced to detention but to behavior modification where the offender would not be able to commit a crime or commit violence again as each time the urge hit they would be paralyzed and their brain would be virtually reset! No need for a leg bracelet, a cell with bars, or a roof over your head provided by a prison. Much like the movie Oclock Work Orange where a violent gang member is mentally altered so that classical music makes him violently ill. After Malcom McDowells character is so antagonized that he jumps through a two story plate glass window rather than endure anymore of the music that sickens him. The government reconsiders this means of punishment after the incident deeming it too inhumane.

Image result for O'clock work orange

How does it work?

With Neuro Link, however, the offender would simply be neutralized temporarily whenever the impulse to commit violence or crime materialized in their brain so that they would become suddenly paralyzed or dazed until the illegal impulse was vanquished. They would appear to be catatonic for a short time before being reset. There are many applications for behavior modification. Neuro Link could be used for dieting for t...

Seen As Healthy Actually People Discussed Things That Are Seen as Healthy but Actually Arent

We live in confusing times and we get mixed messages about pretty much everything these days.

It can be a real pain in the a** trying to figure out whats actually good for you!

And these AskReddit users were nice enough to share things that are seen as healthy but actually arent.

So pay attention!

FYI.

Herbalife.

One of the times I became really unhealthily underweight was when my mother tried to cure me by forcing me on a mostly Herbalife diet. I had to drink multiple smoothies a day loaded with these supplements, which made me nauseous, which meant I couldnt eat normal food through the day.

I got pretty ill. The people who got her to try this crazy diet in the first place just kept swearing she needed to push through to cure me of multiple chronic illnesses (these wellness con people love the it gets worse before it gets better narrative) and she was desperate so she kept me on it way too long.

They would even insist we listen to phone calls from multiple other people who supposedly had chronic illnesses talk about how this was their life changing cure, and when I asked them why they were making us do this for a product we were already buying they yelled at me.

It took me a while to recover physically and emotionally it still bothers me that people were so desperate to sel...

22-Foot-Long Drawing Explores the Olympics Through a Trio of Cities and Greek God Zeus

Zeus Drawing by Oscar Oiwa

Tokyo

Some cities feel like they are a part of you. Whether its the architecture, people, or culture, the connection you have can feel like an extension of your soul. Artist Oscar Oiwa has this type of special attachment to different cities across the globe. Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Paris, and New York deeply inform his work. It's exemplified in his new exhibition titled Metropolis, which features fantastical versions of the cities drawn in marker and charcoal.

Oiwa captures these places in a hyperrealistic style where the sprawling drawings encapsulate a flow of disparate imagery. His triptych work titled Zeus is at the center of the Metropolis show. It features the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Paris and uses recognizable elements (such as the Eiffel Tower) to mix memories, realities, dreams, and geography alongside the Olympic games.

The Olympics bridge the gap between history because of their connection to both ancient Greece and the contemporary world. In Zeus, the places converge in their details as the iconic games take over the citiesin this case, personified as the Greek god Zeusjust like in real life.

There are positive and negative effects when the Olympics come to a metropolis. The impact of major sporting events like the Olympics on big cities is far-reaching, Oiwa explains. They bring about infrastructure development, economic growth, international exposure, and social-cultural impacts, leaving a lasting legacy. However, they also pose challenges such as high costs, environmental impact, and social issues that require effective management and careful navigation. Oiwa captures these contrasts in his monumental work.

At 22 feet long, there is a lot to see...

Hundreds Sign Petition in Support of Artist Shellyne Rodriguez "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Hundreds of artists, scholars, and cultural figures have signed a petition expressing solidarity with former Hunter College adjunct professor Shellyne Rodriguez and condemning institutions callow punitive response to the recent right-wing attacks on the artist. In late May, Hunter fired Rodriguez after she was filmed threatening a reporter of the right-wing tabloid the New York Post, who appeared at her Bronx home unannounced seeking an interview about her confrontation with anti-abortion activists on campus earlier that month. The School of Visual Arts (SVA), where Rodriguez has taught classes, also terminated the artist a few days later.

The craven hypocrisy of these self-described progressive institutions exposes the emptiness of their articulated commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion, reads the petition, led by a committee of supporters of Rodriguez including Sarah Schulman, Chlo Bass, Ruth Wilson Gilmore, and Alicia Grulln. In the face of racist, homophobic attacks, Hunter and SVA failed to stand by a beloved professor, and their stated values.

The petition text is appended in its entirety at the end of this article along with a complete list of more than 600 signatories so far, among them scholars Ariella Asha Azoulay, Arlene Dvila, and Fred Moten and artists Xaviera Simmons, Dread Scott, Nari Ward, Guadalupe Maravilla, and many others. The letter is continuing to gather signatures.

Kayaks New Best Time to Travel Tool Makes Trip Planning a Breeze

Travel is back in full swing and that means that Kayak's new trip-planning tool has come at the perfect time. Its Best Time to Travel tool will take the guesswork out of organizing your next trip by analyzing everything from the cost of flights to the weather. This makes it unique among other trip-planning apps and aggregators, which often only look at the lowest price as the determining factor.

While it's always nice to get a cheap flight, it can sometimes mean that you'll find yourself on vacation during scorching temperatures or a snowy blizzard. By weighing multiple factors, Best Time to Travel gives reasonable advice that you'd only know if you had first-hand knowledge of the location or did a lot of research.

The tool works for 4-day, 7-day, and 14-day trips. All you need to do is enter your departure and arrival destinations, and Kayak will take care of the rest. You'll see the best month to go to your destination based on cost and weather and will be provided with a wealth of information, such as average flight and hotel costs.

Kayak Best Time to Travel Tool

Even if you don't like the month the tool suggests initially, you'll get a lot of information to make an informed decision. Kayak will also give details about the weather at your chosen destination, such as the months with the highest and lowes...

Crypto Market Tension: ADA, BNB, MATIC, SOL Crash Over 10% In Past Week "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

In a market heavily influenced by Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), their slight price decline recently has been overshadowed by a more substantial fall in larger altcoins. Notably, Cardano (ADA), BNB (BNB), Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL) have seen a more than 10% drop over the past week.

This downturn traces back to regulatory actions taken by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against industry titans Binance and Coinbase.

Regulatory Pressure And The Crypto Market

This heightened market volatility follows charges laid by the SEC on Tuesday against Coinbase for facilitating the trading of crypto assets they labeled as unregistered securities.

The list of implicated assets includes FLOW, VGX, MATIC, and ADA. A similar charge was filed against Binance, where these assets, among others like BNB, BUSD, SOL, FIL, ATOM, SAND, MANA, ALGO, AXS, and COTI, were categorized as securities. Its interesting to note that the SEC did not include tokens with substantial trading volumes such as ETH, USDC, USDT, LTC, and BTC.

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, responded to these charges by suggesting that the regulatory crackdown was a move to pave the way for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). In his view, the government aims to leverage the CBDC as a tool to assert control over peoples finances, facilitated by a selection of influential banks.

Hoskinson noted:

With respect to Binance, Im reading through the SEC complaint. Its over 130 pages, but seems like the next in a series of steps to implement chokepoint 2.0 in the United States. The end goal is a agenda based CBDC partnered with a handful of massive banks and end-to-end control over every aspect of your financial life.

The Market Impact On ADA, BNB, MATIC, And SOL

In the wake of this regulatory scrutiny, ADAs price has seen a market downtrend, falling by 15% over the past 7 days, with a further 2.8% loss in the past 24 hours alone....

James Lasdun, Jessica Laser, and Leopoldine Core Recommend "IndyWatch Feed Literature"

Julian Maclaren-Rosss 1947 novel, Of Love and Hunger, is a defiantly unedifying English comedy about a vacuum-cleaner salesman trying to keep his chin up in the gloom of prewar Brighton. Its not-quite-forgotten (if never-exactly-acclaimed) author has been on my radar ever since I learned that he was the model for the bohemian novelist character X. Trapnel in Anthony Powells A Dance to the Music of Time. That monumental roman-fleuve of English life happened to be a significant inspiration for a project of my owna novel about the seventies London I grew up in, an excerpt of which appears in the new Summer issue of the Reviewso when I found myself trying to think of a book that one of my middle-aged characters might have read in her youth, the Maclaren-Ross novel sprang to mind, and I finally read it. As it turned out, I dont think my character, a tortured soul who tends to find everything ghastly, would have enjoyed it. She would have found the seedy boarding houses and tearooms and pubs that comprise its setting ghastly; shed have found the petty swindling and debt-dodging antics of the protagonist and his fellow salesmen ghastly, and shed have found his unapologetic romance with the wife of an absent colleague too ghastly for words. But I couldnt get enough of it. Theres nothing obviously brilliant about the writing or plotting, both of which tend toward the studiedly humdrum. (Two more cars passed, then a bus.) But somehow its little throwaway visions of fleeting bliss snatched from abiding squalor got under my skin. I havent enjoyed a novel so much in ages.

Bitcoin And Nothing Else: Why Former PayPal, Meta Executive David Marcus Is Building On The Lightning Network "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

For nearly 25 years, virtually as long as online payments have been possible, David Marcus has been trying to figure out how to perfect them.

In the mid-90s he founded a telecom company that offered internet access along with telephone service. In 2000, he launched Echovox, which he spun out into Zong in 2008 a mobile platform that let users pay for things online directly through their mobile phone bills. When this venture was acquired by PayPal in 2011, Marcus joined the digital payments giant, becoming its president the next year.

Hed read the Bitcoin white paper shortly after it was published, but didnt fall into the rabbit hole at first, he recalled in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine. Then, in 2012, Argentina ordered PayPal to stop all transactions that would send money out of the country as it grappled with currency inflation and a fiscal austerity effort, and the real value of this peer-to-peer electronic cash system started to resonate with him.

We had to (comply), we were a regulated entity, Marcus explained. The day that happened, bitcoin prices went up significantly and I was like, Whoa. Like, this is something where consumers in a place like Argentina are actually rushing into bitcoin as a way to move money that theyve earned its their money in a way that they saw fit. So, I felt that was a very eye-opening moment for me in terms of Bitcoin being an escape valve to certain behaviors that werent aligned with my views of self sovereignty, of money so that was kind of a turning point for me in 2013, where it really solidified my conviction.

Shortly afterward, in May 2013, he attended the Bitcoin 2013 conference in San Jose and, despite its relatively small community, he was intrigued by the breakthrough Bitcoin had made in how digital payments could be facilitated.

It was really a handful, like two handfuls of people basically, it was so incredibly early, he said. I was fascinated by this general idea that you move value in a completely self-sovereign way without any intermediaries whatsoever. And during that same time period, I remember sending and receiving bitcoins, and I was setting up wallets for friends to show them what was possible: Look, this is me sending you money and theres no one in between, right? And I was really fascinated by it.

To The Best Of Our Abilities

But Marcus was not yet ready to give up on the possibility of institutionalized yet open payments for the internet. In June 2014, he joined Meta (then Facebook) as its vice president of messaging products, developing the Facebook Messenger mobile app. Marcus released Messenger P2P Paymen...

If Were Not Careful, The AI Revolution Could Become The Great Homogenization "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Aleksandar Svetski, founder of The Bitcoin Times and The Amber App and author of The UnCommunist Manifesto, Authentic Intelligence and the upcoming Bushido Of Bitcoin.

The world is changing before our very eyes. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a paradigm-shifting technological breakthrough, but probably not for the reasons you might think or imagine.

Youve probably heard something along the lines of, Artificial general intelligence (AGI) is around the corner, or, Now that language is solved, the next step is conscious AI.

Well Im here to tell you that those concepts are both red herrings. They are either the naive delusions of technologists who believe God is in the circuits, or the deliberate incitement of fear and hysteria by more malevolent people with ulterior motives.

I do not think AGI is a threat or that we have an AI safety problem, or that were around the corner from some singularity with machines.

But

I do believe this technological paradigm shift poses a significant threat to humanity which is in fact, about the only thing I can somewhat agree on with the mainstream but for completely different reasons.

To learn what they are, lets first try to understand what's really happening here.

Introducing The Stochastic Parrot!

Technology is an amplifier. It makes the good better, and the bad worse.

Just as a hammer is technology that can be used to build a house or beat someone over the head, computers can be used to document ideas that change the world, or they can be used to operate central bank digital currencies (CDBCs) that enslave you into crazy, communist cat ladies working at the European Central Bank.

The same goes for AI. It is a tool. It is a technology. It is not a new lifeform, despite what the lonely nerds who are calling for progress to shut down so desperately want to believe.

What makes generative AI so interesting is not that it is sentient, but that its the first time in our history that we are speaking or communicating with something other than a human being, in a coherent fashion. The closest weve been to that before this point has been with parrots.

Yes: parrots!

You can train a parrot to kind of talk and talk back, and you can kind of understand it, but because we know its not really a human and doesnt really understand anything, were not so impressed.

But generative AI well, thats a different story. Weve been acquainted with it for six months now (in the mainstream) and we have no real idea how it works under the hood. We type some words, and it responds like that annoying, politically-correct, midwit nerd who you know from class or your average Netflix show.

In fact, youve probabl...

A Veritable Aviary of Birds and Pollinators by The Paper Ark Are Small Enough to Perch on the Tip of a Finger "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

A hand holds a tiny peahen sculpture with a regal crown

Peahen. All images Nayan Shrimali and Venus Bird, shared with permission

Nayan Shrimali and Venus Bird, of The Paper Ark, approach conservation and environmental activism on a tiny scale. The artists (previously) create miniature renditions of flora and fauna that harness the textured, buildable potentials of paper to showcase the beauty and singularity of threatened and endangered species.

After cutting and layering tiny bits of the material, Shrimali and Bird add details with watercolor, whether on the striped quills of a crested porcupine or the regal crown of the peahen. While largely true to life in anatomy and color, most of the portraits are small enough to fit on the tip of a finger.

Shrimali shares that The Paper Ark has started to create hand-cranked wildlife automata, which you find along with an extensive archive of creatures on Instagram. Shop prints and available originals on Etsy.

Bearish BNB Signs Hint Downtrend May Persist Beyond Expectations "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

BNB is currently displaying bearish signs that suggest a possible continuation of the ongoing downtrend, surpassing the expectations of many investors.

Despite initial hopes for a swift recovery, the persistence of these bearish signs compels investors to explore the implications and brace for the possibility of a more prolonged downturn, provoking further scrutiny of the future of BNB and its impact on the wider cryptocurrency ecosystem.

But what exactly are these signals telling us about the future of BNB?

BNB Recent Downturn Coincides With Surge In Trading Volume

According to a recent tweet by Santiment, BNB has experienced a notable downturn of -15% since June 4. The decline in BNBs price coincided with a surge in its trading volume, reaching a level not seen in the past five weeks.

This increase in trading activity suggests that market participants are actively engaging with BNB during its price decline, possibly seeking buying opportunities or adjusting their positions in response to the market movement.

The higher trading volume indicates heightened market interest and the potential for increased price volatility as investors closely monitor BNBs performance.

This confluence of factors, with BNB experiencing a significant decrease in value alongside a surge in trading volume, presents a dynamic and evolving situation for traders and investors, warranting careful attention and analysis of the underlying market dynamics.

Amidst the volatility of the cryptocurrency market, BNBs price on CoinGecko stands at $260.59, reflecting a mere 0.8% dro...

Unraveling the Mystery of Your Cravings: A Deeper Look into Salt, Sugar and Caffeine Desires "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Our bodies are intricately designed communication systems. From the tip of your toes to the crown of your head, every cell communicates with each other to maintain the delicate balance necessary for survival. One such communication signal from our body is cravings a strong desire for specific types of foods or substances. While commonly dismissed as mere lack of discipline or emotional eating, cravings can be an important message from our body about its needs and potential imbalances, including deficiencies in vitamins or minerals. In this comprehensive guide, we delve into understanding the relationship between cravings for salt, sugar, and caffeine and your adrenal health, providing you with valuable insights and practical steps to regain your bodys balance.

Adrenal Glands: Unsung Heroes of Our Health

Residing atop our kidneys, the adrenal glands are crucial components of our endocrine system. They produce various hormones that regulate functions like metabolism, immune response, blood pressure, and importantly, our response to stress. Vitality and vigor largely depend on the smooth functioning of these glands.

The adrenal cortex, a part of the adrenal gland, is responsible for controlling sex hormones such as androgen and estrogen. It also plays a crucial role in maintaining salt and sugar balance in our blood with the help of hormones like aldosterone and cortisol, respectively. Another component, the adrenal medulla, churns out hormones involved in the fight-or-flight response. These hormones, adrenaline and related substances like epinephrine and norepinephrine, are pivotal in responding to stress.

Lets focus on the adrenal glands response to stress, as it plays a significant role in understanding our bodys cravings for salt, sugar, and caffeine.

Kansas Wheat Harvest Will Be The Smallest Since 1957 "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog under the title:  Kansas Wheat Harvest Will Be The Smallest Since 1957 And U.S. Corn Is Being Absolutely Devastated By Drought

Significantly higher food prices are coming because U.S. food production is going to be way below normal levels this year.  That is really bad news because food prices are already absurdly high.  In some cases, people are paying as much for a full shopping cart full of food as they did for a used vehicle in the old days.

I wish that I was exaggerating, but I am not.  Unfortunately, food prices are only going to go higher because farmers and ranchers are being hit extremely hard from coast to coast.  For example, it is being reported that wheat farmers in Kansas will reap their smallest harvest in more than 60 years

Kansas has been called the countrys breadbasket. Now, wheat farmers in the state will reap their smallest harvest in more than 60 years.

This will go directly down the chain, from farmers to consumers at the grocery store.

Kansas normally produces more wheat than any other U.S. state by a wide margin.

But now the harvest in that state will be the smallest that we have seen since 1957

For the last two years, a drought has withered a lot of the crop.

Now, this years wheat harvest in Kansas is shaping up to be the smallest since 1957. That year, the Eisenhower administration intentionally suppressed wheat production.

There were 166 million people living in the United States in 1957.

Today, there are 331 million people.

So who is going to volunteer to give up eating wheat this year so that others can consume what they normally do?

At this point, things are so bad that we are being told that flour mills in Kansas...

In the context of the current discussion, the key <a href= "https://www.newsbtc.com/stablecoin/stablecoins-sharks-whales-load-bags-why-bullish-bitcoin/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">shark</a> and <a href= "https://www.newsbtc.com/stablecoin/stablecoin-market-cap-decreases-whales-remain-unfazed/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">whale</a> cohorts are of interest, the combined coin range of which can be defined as $100,000-$10 million.</p> <p>Naturally, this holder group would include all addresses on the blockchain that are carrying at least $100,000 and at most $10 million worth of USDT in their balances.</p> <p>Now, here is a chart that shows the trend in the Tether Supply Distribution specifically for the sharks and whales over the last six months:</p> <p><img alt="Tether Sharks & Whales" class= "alignnone aligncenter" height="1819" src= "https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FyIOMj9aUAA8fdp?format=jpg&name=4096x4096" width="2882"></p> <p>As displayed in the above graph, the Tether addresses holding between $100,000-$10 million have seen their combined supply shoot up recently. Interestingly, this rise has coincided with Bitcoin observing some high volatility due to Binance being <a href= "https://www.newsbtc.com/news/cardano/cardano-founder-unveils-sec-motivation-for-suing-binance/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">sued</a> by the SEC over alleged fraud.</p> <p>Generally, investors use stablecoins like USDT whenever they want to exit volatile coins like BTC. Thus, investors exchanging their assets for stables can be a sign of selling.</p> <p>Its possible that the latest rise in the supply of sharks and whales has come because of these humongous holders ditching cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin in these uncertain times.</p> <p>However, usually, whenever holders opt for stablecoins instead of exiting through fiat or other means, it means that they are possibly looking to eventually return back into the volatile markets.</p> <p>When such investors finally feel that the prices are right to step back in...

Surely the most jaw-dropping 8 seconds youll watch this week "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

This video of a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon has gone wildly viral on Reddit for reasons which are about to become obvious.

Its an (almost) terminally curious passenger who is given a lesson in flight safety by the pilot who given the circumstances is an absolute model of restraint.

Wouldnt have blamed him for reaching for the ejector seat. Hers, not his.

And that is when the pilot turns around.

Only pity is it wont work for all professions (were still trying to work out a way of hoisting a car onto our desk).

Bitcoin Is Becoming A Lifeline For Political Dissidents In Myanmar "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Win Ko Ko Aung, a McCourt Scholar for Georgetown Universitys Data Science for Public Policy program and a survivor of Myanmars 2021 military coup.

As the 2024 U.S. Presidential election campaign kicked off, one of the candidates, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., took to Twitter to express his support for Bitcoin. In a tweet, he stated that Bitcoin has been a lifesaver for peoples movements around the world, particularly in Burma.

Myanmar, also known as Burma, is a country located in Southeast Asia, bordering China, India, Thailand, Laos and Bangladesh. The country has stunning natural beauty, including untouched beaches, vast forests and a rich culture of Buddhism. Despite these attractions, Myanmar has been tortured by the world's longest civil war, which has been ongoing for more than 70 years, since it achieved independence in 1945. The country has also experienced multiple military coups throughout its history, leading to political instability and economic turmoil. Additionally, the government has a history of demonetizing the local currency, and there have been frequent banking crises.

One of Myanmar's most notable instances of demonetization occurred in 1987, leading to the historic "8888 Uprising." On September 5, 1987, the military dictator Ne Win announced the demonetization of Myanmar's 25, 35, and 75 kyat notes without providing prior notice or replacing them for citizens. At that time, these notes accounted for 80% of the circulation in the economy. Previous demonetization efforts in 1964 and 1985 had compensated noteholders, making this move in 1987 especially unexpected and devastating for the people of Myanmar. The choice to demonetize these particular, odd denominations sparked significant speculation, as they were believed to hold special status. It is widely held that Ne Win, who was highly superstitious, considered these numbers to be propitious both for the country and himself on a personal level.

Myanmar's transformation era commenced with the visit of U.S. President Barack Obama to the co......

Catholicism The Scarlet Whore of Babylon "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication ~Revelation 17:4 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins Colossians 1:14, KJV Yeshuah dies for us, Catholic say Thanks, Mary! While violating almost every law He kept and died to write onto our hearts that we would remember it.
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over...

ApeCoin Holders Suffer Financial Pain As 95% Endure Negative Returns "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

ApeCoin (APE), created by Yuga Labs, once soared to great heights, capturing the attention of investors and enthusiasts alike. However, recent developments have cast a dark cloud over the once-promising digital asset.

With an astonishing 95% of ApeCoin holders finding themselves deep in the red, the future of this innovative cryptocurrency hangs in the balance.

Negative sentiment surrounding ApeCoin has become a prominent concern for its community. Once buoyed by optimism and excitement, investors now face frustration as their holdings plummet in value.

This loss of confidence not only undermines ApeCoins credibility but also raises questions about its long-term sustainability.

Diminishing Network Growth, Trading Velocity Compound APEs Challenges

Founder of NotLarvaLabs, Pauly, has revealed a troubling statistic: an alarming 95% of ApeCoin holders are currently grappling with financial losses, painting a bleak picture for the once-promising cryptocurrency.

ApeCoins price decline can be primarily attributed to the diminishing growth of its network, which has witnessed a noticeable decrease in interest from new addresses over the past three months. This decline in interest reflects a diminishing enthusiasm for APE among potential investors.

In addition to the decline in network growth, ApeCoins trading velocity, which measures the frequency of transactions, has also experienced a significant drop during this period.

This decline in trading activity further exacerbates the challenges faced by ApeCoin, indicating a lack of liquidity and reduced participation in the market.

Friendly reminder that the the term unskilled pertaining to the workforce is bullshit. Every job requires a unique set of skills necessary to complete it. Ditch digging, burger flipping, trash collecting, retail, medicine, IT, all of it require some type of training and knowledge specific to the task.

The term unskilled worker was coined to justify paying employees the bare minimum.
